We came here for dessert because my friend had lunch here, but didn't get the chance to try their desserts. She made a reservation but the person that she made the reservation with forgot to put it in the schedule. Fortunately we saw him and he said oh yeah, let them have a seat because I forgot to place the reservation. We picked to sit inside on a really warm summer day. Bad choice. We couldn't even feel the AC because the front of the restaurant was opened up. We should sat outdoors which was cooler than sitting inside. Nevertheless we had a mission to try their dessert. There were three of us so we ordered three desserts and shared it so we can taste them all. Let's start with the Malabi. It's a rose water custard based and on top was shredded coconut and candied pistachios. Not quite sure what the other topping was. My friends liked it but I'm not a fan of eating rose water or hibiscus syrup. This one wasn't finished. The second dessert we tried was the double chocolate cake. This was so decadent with chocolate and a chocolate lovers dream. It's much better with a side of vanilla ice cream though. Now I'm saving the best for last because The Best Cake was truly the best! We were trying not to be greedy eating this but if we had to order again, I would've gotten this just for myself! We ate it with a side of ice cream. It was like eating a toffee cake. The top was covered with medjool dates, brown sugar & crispy bacon bits. The mixture of sweet and savory with bit of the ice cream was just divine! We were fighting to eat more of this! WOW. 10000/10 for every single thing we ate. We ordered 3 dishes per person and the portions were perfect for our party of three people total. Everything we had was extremely delicious !! The portion sizes are small since they are meant to be shared, but it's nice since you get to try quite a few items. The service was friendly even on a night where they were so busy. I was excited for a lot of the items since I enjoy many of their ingredients, but it was almost like some of the dishes had too much going on that it became too flavorful. For example, the sauce used on the scallops was so heavy that the scallop itself was masked by the sauce. The pork belly was glazed and ended up so salty but with no other balanced flavor. I don't think the food was bad, but a bit overseasoned. On the menu, the ingredients sounded cohesive but was not to me when eaten. read more

Once we had our order in, the food came out quickly (about 2-3 at a time). Drinks was alright too. The ones we had were flavorful as well, but doesn't seem strong. A lot of garnish - looked cute.
