I went in today to buy a single rose to place on a grave. The man who helped me couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.

I went in on a Friday and ordered flowers to be picked up on Monday at noon. I was very specific…read more Said I would like a unique arrangement with yellow roses and purple flowers. The lady asked what kind of container, I said a nice box or anything unique but not a vase as my mother has a ton of those. I said I wanted it to be asymmetrical and have structure to it. She asked how much I wanted to spend. I told her I didn't know how much that kind of thing I'm asking for goes for. She just stared at me. So I threw an amount out to see what she'd say, I said "I don't know, $100?" She was all to happy and rang me up for $100. I went on Monday at 1pm. Upon walking in I saw a different older lady and two younger ones sitting at a back table doing nothing but chatting. One younger girl came up and I told her my name for an order. She went in the cooler and came out empty handed. Went somewhere else. Came back empty handed. Then she goes to talk to older lady and comes back and says the yellow roses just came in 5 minutes ago and my arrangement is not ready. Wait what!??? So I showed up an hour later then I said I would and you have nothing? And NO ONE CALLED TO TELL ME THIS!? So the older lady came up and she seemed all nervous and jittery and she told me to hang on they'll make it now. Oh great, I'm sure that's going to come out great now that you're rushing. So I politely said I'd wait even tho I was not happy. Then she comes back to tell me the yellow roses actually did not get delivered!! And now she said they'll get some somewhere and they'll even throw in a few extra roses and a couple of balloons and they'll deliver it within the next few hours. I was really concerned now that I was not going to get what I wanted so I said that. She got kind of rude and snapped back some of the things the other lady had wrote in the notes on Friday. Ok. So. They did deliver in about 2.5 hours. However, it was NOT an arrangement by any means. It was basically 1.5 dozen roses stuck in a clear glass vase (you know, the thing I didn't want), and a few extra filler things that looked thrown in randomly to make it look asymmetrical! Very poorly quickly done. NO EFFORT was put into this. It is definitely NOT unique! I showed the original lady on Friday about 10 pictures of ideas. I can tell you this looks NOTHING like the arrangements I showed her. I will never trust them again!

I came across Countryside online as it seemed to be the only one in town. While the website is a bit clunky, it does have quite a large collection of photos featuring arrangements for every occasion with prices ranging from $40 to a couple hundred. I was impressed with the selection. I was able to choose my arrangement and pay using PayPal online, which is very convenient. After I submitted my order I realized that I had completely screwed it up! I had entered the incorrect address and there was an error in my phone number! I found the contact email on their website and emailed them, letting them know what the correct address and phone number were. I also Asked them to give me a call to confirm the changes. I honestly didn't expect them to actually call back, and had planned on calling them the next day anyway just to make sure. Within a few minutes I received an email back from an employee who stated that they received the correct address and would deliver it no problem. I was impressed with how quickly I received a response! A couple days later, my friend sent me a text and a picture of the arrangement, which was so bright, cheery and extremely cute. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Countryside Florist!

Paradise Flower Market has become my go-to place for gifts for my grandma. I live in California and…read moreit's tough missing holidays and special occasions. I've now ordered from Paradise Flower Market multiple times for birthdays and holidays and it's a great way to share that I'm thinking of her when I can't make it back. I've always ordered through the website and every arrangement I've ordered has been thoroughly enjoyed. For my latest order I selected the "Designers Choice" arrangement and while I didn't receive a photo, I was told they were "Splederiferous" by my grandma. I'm hoping I can get someone to send me a photo, but I know from previous gifts that they always look amazing. I appreciate the ease of online ordering and the variety of options, as well as the option to include a gift message. I was also able to schedule the flowers for next day delivery. Since I've ordered a few times I'm also on their email list and they send promotional emails, including reminders around the time of previous orders which I thought was really thoughtful. I also liked that they sent email updates notifying me when the flowers were out for delivery and when they were delivered. It allowed me to call my grandma to make sure she received them/knew that she had a gift waiting for her at home. While not necessary, I'd love it if they could add a photo to the email so I could see the arrangement too since it's a long distance purchase, but they do such a great job as it is. I'll absolutely be ordering more from Paradise Flower Market in the future.

The booth I sat in was ran down, you shouldn't sink into the booths when you find that perfect "@ss spot" being used for over 5 years. (Pet peeve of mines, this is why I hate booths). The menu is sort of all over the place with no cohesiveness. The price points for the quality and quantity is off for me, way off. I wanted the wedge salad but was told they have no ranch... "how don't you have ranch" I ordered the chicken piccata, it was nothing to write home about. Strike two when the waiter asked did I "need any salt and pepper, hot sauce". (Eyebrow raise, hot sauce!?!?) They warmed the frozen chicken breast up nice. The sauce was good but a burnt flavor lingered. Not sure if it was the sauce or the burnt vegetables. The mashed potatoes were congealed and flavorless. After I found a dime sized black flat ball of something in the mashed potatoes I had enough. I looked at all the beautiful dishes on yelp before I came here. ***WARNING*** if you don't see good pics and reviews within 10 months or so old, DONT DO IT! I can imagine the locals are helping to keep this place alive...
