The ice cream was really good. And there was A LOT of it in every dish we ordered. We got the brownie sundae, the banana split and a brownie topped mint ice cream in a glass. There were four of us eating these three items and we almost couldn't finish it there was so much! The service was amazing and our sundae maker was manning the shop alone so she worked hard on each one by herself so it took a minute. She did a great job. The shop is cute and small but with a little kids waiting area as well as a freezer for to go pints. The hardest part and the reason it lost a star was location. Access to it was very difficult to get into as you had to turn onto a street that was past the shop and then come in from the back as it's only access road. There was only the one way in and out for the couple of shops in the tiny strip mall. If there was some kind of emergency I don't know how you would get out of there. Parking was extremely limited as well. Really weird design for entry. I had a Groupon I purchased which was a good value however I would try to find a different location if they have one. We tried a couple of flavors before deciding on the Coffee cookies and cream ice cream in the bambino size. There was a lot of bric-a-brac the kind of gave it that homey feeling. This is a great place for you to bring the kids and/or a date and just enjoy some very good ice cream. There are a few disadvantages to this ice cream shop, however. One is that they only have one size of milkshake and a price point comes just under eight dollars, $7.75 to be exact. Mind you, this is before tax and a tip. If a kid wants a milkshake, there is no small to get him. He will just have to get a large and quite honestly it might go to waste. Prices all around where a little bit High, but not so extreme to make you not want to go. My total for a single scoop of ice cream in a cup and two scoops in a cup with whipped cream was just under ten dollars. Also, whipped cream is considered a topping and honestly I have no problem with that. However, please give me the illusion that it is something special and do not pick up a supermarket store brand whipped cream and charge me for that. All in all, it was a positive experience. We live in the neighborhood right behind Bacios and we've never been in for desert (just laziness). We decided last night was the night, so we took a walk with our 3yr old and WOW!!! When you first walk in you gain about 10lbs from the absolutely amazing smells. The atmosphere is like an old time ice cream parlor. There was ample space for me to access with my wheelchair and not feel crowded. My son absolutely lost his little mind with all the ice cream choices, but in the end he's die hard vanilla. The staff members were very friendly, knew the menu very well and made some great recommendations. This was by far some of the best ice cream I have ever had, and the prices don't break the bank. I am now hooked and we will definitely be regulars. Highly recommended if you love amazing deserts, and home made ice creams. read more

This place is a dirty, overpriced scam. I visited on a typical warm afternoon recently with a small group. Some of us ordered the same items, and they began preparing everyone else's orders first because mine was placed last as I was paying for the group. As has become frustratingly common, the employee flipped the payment screen to show tip requests ranging from 15-25%, even though this isn't a full-service restaurant. Reluctantly, I left a token tip of a few dollars due to our group size. The employee, clearly annoyed, then scooped me half the amount of ice cream compared to what others received for the same order. My friends suggested I complain, but I refused, not wanting to spoil their enjoyment of their desserts. To the owners of Bacio Ice Cream: You are scammers. Pay your employees fairly and stop relying on tips to supplement their wages with the manipulative tactic of turning the payment screen for emotional pressure. Pay them decent wages and teach them to not be upset when people like me choose not to tip extra for a service that doesn't warrant a tip, as you're not a full-service restaurant. Your employees should be satisfied with any small tip for simply scooping ice cream and handing it over. You're charging double what Baskin Robbins does for ice cream that's only marginally better, which is a scam in itself. Then you try to tack on an extra 15-25% to cover your employee wages? That's outrageous. I hope more people realize that your attractive design and flavors, and clean shop front, can't hide the fact that you're inherently a dishonest business and I just felt dirty when I left it. read more

I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. Their serving sizes are big and the prices are low to moderate. On top of having some amazing flavors to have on their own, they also have some delicious looking specialties. I can't wait to come back and try one of their milkshakes or sundaes. I think the moody one is the manager or lead, as she gives orders to the other girls.
