I've heard good things about this place and decided to give it a try. It's a small store but they have a good selection of items. If you're a fan of ube they have a few options available. My sister told me about their their cream puffs so I decided to give the ube creampuff a try. It was light and full of the cheesecake cream. I thoroughly enjoyed the inside I could eat a bowl of just that. Also the cookie thing on top was delicious. For the price I would say it's a decent size. Everything here is a little more on the pricey side from what I'm used to, but I would say it's a good value. The employees were really friendly and let me take my time while I was deciding which option to get. I'll definitely be back to try more of their treats. If you're in the area, I would definitely recommend checking them out!

For reference: on the side where Zazas, next to Charley's, across from Regal movie theater.

I have now learned that if I want the place to myself, early Saturday morning. Peaceful, beautiful décor & heavenly scents of coffee, butter & baked goods! On this my 4th trip I picked up a giant croissant, a divine creme brulee puff and a hot mocha coffee with almond milk. If you're croissants do not make a crumb mess when you bite into them, you're not eating a real croissant. It's so good. The créme brulée puff is delicious and the mocha coffee always hits. Located inside Waterford Lakes Town Center, next to ZaZa and across from the Regal Theatre. Its the cute shop under the pergola. The service is always excellent! The time between ordering & getting your stuff is great.

First time trying this bakery and I was very satisfied with the creme brûlée puff. There are tables for lounge and relax , the service was great. My family enjoyed the baked goods and looking forward to visiting again.

Always a big fan of Light on the Sugar! Don't know how I missed that they now have a Waterford Lakes location, but I just happened to stumble upon it today on my way to a lunch meeting in the area. I decided to stop in after lunch and grab a tea and some sweet treats for later. This is a smaller location but also beautifully designed as always. I decided to get their iced guava sunset jasmine tea which was fruity & refreshing. I also got the strawberry biscoff crepe cake slice and the Dubai chocolate cream puff. I am obsessed with their crepe cakes and every flavor I've tried so far (matcha, ube, tiramisu) has been amazing. I'm a sucker for anything with biscoff cookies. Dubai chocolate is definitely having a trending moment in the dessert world right now, and I loved their creative way of making it into a cream puff -- it's so good. These are definitely some of my fave desserts in Orlando!

Cutest cafe with amazing pastries and beautiful decor. We loved the coffee, as well as the pastries. They have so many options to try! Definitely worth checking out

Found this place near alafaya. If you're looking for a dessert that is not so sweet but still pretty good you'll like what they have to offer. The pastry and desserts are very light. I had the tiramisu slice and it was just a right amount of sweet. They offer coffee also which I didn't find too sweet either.

This location in Waterford Lakes is a busy spot and was fully stocked with an amazing selection of desserts and pastries for anyone who is looking for a variety of desserts that are flavorful and not too sweet. They also offer coffee beverages and non-coffee options to pair with your selection. I opted for their beautiful Ube Crepe Cake and my usual breve latte subbing half and half for heavy whipping cream. I chose to grab a seat and table perfect for two to share my Ube Cake with my sister. Oh man was it heavenly and rich without any details forgotten like the berries on top, Graham cracker crumbs and chunks of ube cheesecake complimenting them. This layered ube crepe cake totally left both of our tongues bright purple and our taste buds satisfied. LOL The customer service was fast and friendly. Lots of lighting inside and clean, streamline decor. Very inviting and some merch available for sale. Overall, I spent around $100 for a mixed dozen of their regular sized cream puffs, a Ube Crepe Cake slice and my breve latte. It's definitely worth the splurge and makes for a thoughtful birthday gift or Easter treats for loved ones. There's more options for pre-ordering on their website or just call ahead if you want to order whole cakes and trays of mini and regular cream puffs for any celebration. 5-STARS

Light on the Sugar is one of those rare bakeries that never disappoints. I've been to their Waterford Lakes, Winter Park, and East End Market locations, and the quality is always consistent. They make the best crêpe cakes I've ever had. I've brought them to dinner parties and small family gatherings, and they're always a hit. They're true to their name--the desserts aren't overly sweet, but they're still rich and satisfying. Every time I serve one, guests are impressed. They'll even customize the writing on top of the crêpe cake, which makes it great for birthdays or special occasions. My favorite is the ube, of course, because I love anything ube. Whenever I stop by to place an order or grab something for myself, I always get the taro latte with no added sugar. It's perfect just the way it is. If you haven't tried Light on the Sugar yet, you're missing out. I've converted so many people who don't usually eat sweets into fans of this place. Their character macarons are adorable and make great gifts or party treats. Everything they make has that same balance of flavor and presentation that keeps me coming back.

The desserts are always slap! The service is quick and polite! Love the calm colors! My favorite is the creme brulee cream puff however they were out so I tried other options. All delicious! Lemon blueberry tart, coconut cream dessert, and Dubai cream puff.

Light on the sugar is a classic I'm glad they have more locations! Quality across the locations is consistent which I love. The crème is always so airy and not too sweet. Their crème puffs are my favorite especially the ube & crème brûlée!!! The ambiance of each location is bright, minimalist, and clean. Service is good, if you have any questions the staff is always willing to help. Overall, one of my favorite pastries in Orlando.

New bakery/coffee shop in Waterford Lakes Town Center. From the outside I thought it was a cupcake shop, but when I walked in I saw it was much more. The inside is not large, but big enough to accommodate a few tables along the wall. There are many different coffee, tea and lemonade drinks to choose from. The star of the show here are all the sweets! I ordered the lavender lemonade and ube cheesecake. The lemonade was the right amount of sweet and tart with little lavender sprigs. Ube cheesecake was creamy and sweet. This location is perfect and I hope they do well, there are so many different types of lattes and teas to be had. Every item in the sweets case looked incredible and was presented very well. Do not sleep on this sweet treat of a place!

Super cute space on the small size but that makes it feel cozy. Staff is really friendly. Tried an iced Dalgona Latte and it was good. Loved how it had the honeycomb sugar chunks inside giving the coffee the perfect t sweetness. Also tried the crème brûlée cream puff and it was delicious! Love the combination of the creaminess and the texture the puff added. Really enjoyed it and will be back for more!

Crepe cake and mango peach tart

Staff were great, the venue was clean. It's a nice place to sit and grab a treat after dinner. They are likely literal about their name and approach. As someone who is pretty well traveled in the way of pastries there is nothing to worry about. The selection here is for people who like a bit more masterful deserts. They are in no way un sweetened. They just aren't serving donuts drowning in sugar glaze. For people who don't appreciate a well crafted treat just go to Dunkin'. For everyone else though this place is great. My personal favorite is the Ube crepcake. I encourage people not to be weary of the funny purple vegetable, I tried it once a few years ago and it has been my favourite since. They have plenty of more conventional treats for those who want to get something more recognisable too. Absolutely would recommend.

The candied pecans gave it a contrasting sugared crunch making it really addicting to eat, and the candied oranges rounded out the flavors. I hope they'll keep bringing this cookie back!

I personally prefer a softer, fluffy cake with a noticeable cocoa flavor and a tangy cream cheese frosting. Gideon's version was very different from that. The color was much more intensely red than I personally like, and I felt like I could taste the coloring. The texture of my slice also felt more wet/dense than moist and fluffy. There was plenty of frosting, but the cream cheese flavor was much more subtle than I prefer. I know this cake has a lot of fans, so I think this really comes down to style and personal preference. This time, we ordered another white chocolate matcha cheesecake along with the mango golden cake, and both were excellent. I also noticed that the atmosphere varied slightly depending on the time of day. Around lunchtime, it was quieter, while the evening was a bit busier, but never overwhelmingly crowded. The overall vibe was calm, relaxing, and inviting. One feature I really appreciated was the charging ports built into the high-top seating area, making it a great spot for studying, working, or simply enjoying a dessert and drink.
