The best way to describe the treatment is to look at your life as a film strip you watch. You will see certain events and possibly relive them, but you can process these without the anxiety and emotional response that typically come with thoughts of that incident. You can objectively look at what has happened. I want to add a caveat to this that it does help process things to get the most effective outcome. It is to take what you've experienced, your thoughts, etc., and discuss that with your therapist. Overall, as I've said, this practice is top-notch.
