I am amazed with the NUCCA procedure! Dr. Kaszer has been able to give me relief from my chronic neck pain! I have been in severe pain for 5+ years and had come to the conclusion that it was just the way life was going to be. I was a hairstylists and was in my early 30's. I was told I have a herniated disc c6-c7 (cervical spine). I went to get an MRI and consults from five spinal surgeon who told me fusion or disc replacement were my only options. I know enough about fusion to know it wasn't something that I would opt for, even though I was told it was my ONLY option to get rid of the pain. I found a surgeon in Newport Beach (Dr. Mork) who was able to do minimally invasive spinal surgery. Endoscopic laser spinal surgery. I was able to get the feeling back to my fingertips but still had quite a bit of pain. Soon after I found Dr. Kaszer who after my second adjustment, I was remarkably pain free. I haven't had luck with previous chiropractors and have almost completely given up on being adjusted. His technique is like no other. No cracking or popping. Ok. All I can do is Rave about Back Into Balance. I suffer from GI issues and when I first came to visit Jaime, it was back in 2012. I was suffering a lot during that time of my life, and visiting Back Into Balance was the best thing I could do. The information the Doc tells you about what is going on and what is wrong is not very different from other chiropractors. However, the biggest change is the method he treats you and the explanation as to why this method is usually so much more effective than the traditional crack the neck and spine chiropractor methods. As a patient, I cannot explain it as well as the doctor himself, but he is very kind and caring, and most definitely not a "money-whore" as you see with other chiropractors. I saw results within a few sessions of absolutely painless treatments. After the session, which usually takes 5-10 mins max, you go to the Therapy tables, which is basically a massage table where 2 balls go up and down your spine for relaxation. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot, even if you don't think you have anything wrong with you. I've been seeing Dr. Kaszer for almost FIVE years now. Not only is he great personally (professional, caring, authentic) he's an excellent chiropractor. I had no idea what NUCCA chiropractic was before I became his patient - I had only heard good things from a family member so I decided to try it. I wanted a non invasive, non traditional "cracking" chiropractor. Prior to moving to the area I was seeing a chiropractor who used the activator method. Before Dr. Kaszer, no one had ever pointed out how misaligned my posture was. I noticed it myself in the mirror once he showed me! I started seeing Dr Kaszer in June 2018. I was told when I walked I leaned to the right. I had an obvious shoulder droop on the right side which was visible to the naked eye. I had never heard of NUCCA and was a bit skeptical at first but at the time I was also experiencing issues with my left arm muscles and had pain when lifting my arm. I also would wake every day with a stiff neck and had trouble finding a sleeping position with the right pillow. It was a constant switching of pillows all night long. I found Dr Kaszer to be totally engaged in the care of the patients and he works carefully to explain the structural changes in your body from over time and how the position of the head impacts the the remainder of your spine. For most of my adult life, I've dealt with jaw pain (TMJ). Between grinding my teeth, clenching, and the pain in my neck, I'd often find myself unable to relieve the pain at the end of a long day. Simply put - upper cervical treatment works. I first started treatment with Dr. Kaszer 7 years ago. My primary problem had been decades long pain, tingling and headaches effecting the right side of my head. These problems are a part of the past. The pain, tingling and headaches are gone. Today, I see him about every six weeks in order to stay in alignment. I have had two spinal surgeries, numerous steroid injections, even a pulsed radio frequency nerve ablation. When my pain doc said it was time to repeat the neck ablation I decided to try Dr. Kaszer as recommended by a friend. I'm very glad that I did. After a set of X-rays, Dr. Kaszer was able to calculate my spinal imbalance, then use gentle massage like manipulation to put my spine back into balance. My pain resolved within the first 4-5 visits.
