I was given a tour and x ray as well as a 360 body scan to actually see the progress of my adjustments. The office ambience is energetic and welcoming, plenty of snacks and drinks. The waiting area seating has innovative seating innovative with inflated wobbly cushions to relax the spine. The best part of being an adult is you no longer can blame your parents for the decisions having to do with your own health and body. After my adjustment, the doctor claimed she really need to see me back within 24-48 hours. This is where they get you. They charge you $68 for 5 minutes of adjustment without any warning that it's not part of the package. Note to company: just be up front with customers. I'm a bit delayed in leaving this review but just got another email from this place which reminded me to write this. There's a lot to unravel here. I signed up for a $49 promo to get x-rays, an adjustment and massage but ended up dishing out over $2,600 by the time I left their office...it was unreal. It also felt like the doctor was speaking to me like a child, not a 37-year-old woman; it really rubbed me the wrong way. I honestly should have left at this point...but I didn't. After my consultation/first adjustment, it was suggested that I do 3 adjustments per week for 12 weeks -- this was after I told them I don't even live in California! I visit pretty frequently but could not commit to this plan. Their office manager tried to get me to pay/commit to $8,930! I was able to rearrange the plan and get the price tag to ~$2,600 but that was still way too much. I didn't want to commit to anything in that moment -- I just wanted the promo and to pay as I go! The whole thing was so incredibly uncomfortable. I did two adjustments after this and was then able to get refunded the rest of the money I originally paid. But even getting a refund was awkward; Dr. Kendra had to call me first to go through my plan and such. And I never got that massage! I asked about it, but it was all very fuzzy and they had limited availability. They don't make this part of the promo a priority. The front desk staff is so incredibly nice, including Hannah, and Dr. Rahny seemed kind. I truly hope others have a different experience (I really do!) and don't feel so much pressure to pay an insane amount of money up front. I personally would suggest others find a reputable chiropractor's office or just go to The Joint -- they did the exact same adjustments and didn't try to charge me over $8K. This standard of care includes excellent massage therapists who consult with the doctor to ensure their treatment addresses your needs.
