Mirinda's chiropractor work is just fine and on that alone I would give her 5 stars. The 2 stars were taken away due to the billing and lack of communication. For my account- we just received a bill a year after the service date. When asking medical billing why this occurred the response was there is no statute of limitations for billing and they were having issues with my insurance company (I checked and the claims were processed). The issue seems to be my deductible was not hit at the beginning of 2020 and they did not charge me accordingly. I would have paid the remainder had Mirinda or her billing agency reached out; instead of communicating this to me she ghosted our phone calls and messages until now (13 months later). For my husband's- she did not even submit claims to our insurance company until a year after the service. Considering we switched insurance companies at the beginning of 2021, I'm hoping that bill doesn't end up on us as well. We'll see what happens on that note. Overall- her actual chiropractor work is good. Communication and billing needs to be worked on. I'm paying the late bill, it's just annoying to deal with late and non existent communication when it is an easy fix. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about Mirinda! She has saved my back on so many occasions, she is a serious life saver! I have had to leave work when my ribs popped out and she always fines time to adjust me so I can get back to grooming dogs. She is funny,compassionate and down to earth! I am so overjoyed to have finally found my dream chiropractor. Not only is she a Snohomie (raised here, continuing to love/support our wonderful town) but she's an excellent chiropractor. I went in with sharp pain in my back from constant coughing from a bout of pneumonia. She found 4 ribs out and popped them back in. She also popped in a few stray neck vertebrae as well. Afterwards she put me on the vibrating table to try to loosen up the gunk in my lungs. It really worked and I am so appreciative for her care. She obviously cares about her patients' total health. She is personable and professional. I immediately felt at ease in her presence and could tell she knew what she was doing. She is a treat-and-release type chiropractor so she's not going to tell you to come back 25 more times just because she can. If she's fixed your issue, you're released. It's just what I want. I love that she has her dogs in the office. So fun. I also appreciate that I can text her anytime I need an appointment. Easy peasy and uber convenient. read more

She is an excellent Chiropractor who listens to her patients regarding their pain. She does not push unnecessary treatments or therapy. I've been seeing Mirinda for a few years now and I have nothing but rave reviews for her. Of course I can sit here and tell you that she is a fantastic chiropractor but let me "back" (pun intended) this up: - Mirinda is not one of those pushy chiropractors that you hear about. She isn't going to tell you that you need to see her 3 times a week, or even once every week, unless she really truly believes at that moment that you are in need of more intensive treatments. - She is really great at listening, and then feeling your spine to locate the source of your problem. - I came to Mirinda today after jamming up my lower back on a hike last weekend. I have been in quite a bit of pain. She felt around my lower back, did a few adjustments, and then asked to feel my hips. She was able to determine that the source of my pain was actually a muscle located on the front of my hip bone (when she touched it, it was very tender). After this she recommended ice and several different types of stretches to help alleviate my pain. I appreciate that her treatment plan goes beyond her office. - She has a pretty flexible schedule and is willing to work with her patients to see them at times that work well for them. I have seen her at 9am and I have seen her at 7pm. Overall, I appreciate her for her professionalism and knowledge. Highly recommend! read more

Mirinda is a miracle worker. As an esthetician and makeup artist, I'm either sitting, hunched over or standing for long periods of time and it wreaked havoc on my back. I got on a 6 month plan with her and when I started I was in a ton of pain constantly but now I feel really good. I go monthly to keep my body healthy and really love her. Miranda is fantastic! I had such bad back pain and headaches and massage wasn't helping and I went and after just 2 appointments my back was feeling better and my headaches had decreased from having one almost daily to once a week. I have been seeing Miranda for about 3 months now and I feel way better. Also scheduling is a breeze I know that if I need to reschedule or even schedule sooner she is very flexible and will try to get you in as soon as possible. My hips were out of line and back was all sorts of out of line I didn't know that there was an issue until she explained what exactly happens when your back is out of line, and now I feel great. She is also very professional and you really feel like she listens and cares about her clients. Dr.Mirinda has been a savior in my shoulder pain. I'm a hairstylist and use my arms and shoulders daily. She came up with a plan for care and instantly felt better. After calling several chiropractors in Monroe and Snohomish, Dr Mirinda was the only one who could see me as a first time patient that same day. I had a slipped rib and the inflammation was terrible; seizing my entire side. It was all caused by a twisted vertebrae, which Dr. Mirinda was able to fix! I also made a comment about one of my toe knuckles being out for at least four years. I saw another chiropractor and a PT about it but there was nothing they could do about it so I made an comment about it and she has been working on it, it's been steadily getting better! I thought I was going to have to live with the pain for the rest of my life! Even my GP said there wasn't anything that could be done for it at this stage since it had been so long. Dr. Atchison is wonderful! You can get in to see her usually on the day you call! I get aches and pains here and there and always just dealt with it. After seeing her, I can feel the difference. She is very hands on and gets the job done. I had 7 ribs outta place after going inner tubing and she was able to pinpoint all of them and immediately put them back to where they belong. Dr. Mirinda has been able to help me with many ailments, some I never would have imagined chiropractic could help. For instance, my allergies went from severe hay fever and not stop sneezing in the spring every year, to almost non existent since I started seeking ongoing chiropractic care. A welcomed bonus! She has been able to reduce my migraine headaches drastically, instead of getting several a month, I now only get them on occasion, and when I had a herniated disc and could barely walk, and my MDs plan was to just send me to a pain clinic and put me on meds (which had an over 60 day waiting period to even be seen) her consistent care and adjustments had me walking and back to work within a week - no meds beyond OTC in the beginning to worry about getting addicted to! I now always see her first and rarely have to see my MD.
