I had a great experience at Discount Tire thanks to Jake M. I initially called to ask about wait…read moretimes and was told about an hour in and out. At the time, I was at Belle Tire and they quoted me around two hours, so that already stood out. When I arrived, there was a line, but I waited no more than two minutes before being helped. Jake greeted me right away with a friendly attitude and asked what was going on. I explained that I was hoping to save my flat tire, but if not, I was planning to just replace one. He took the time to walk outside with me, look at my car, and explain that all four of my tires were dry rotting. He recommended replacing them for safety, which I really appreciated. When I asked about financing, he walked me through the pre-approval process step by step and made everything easy to understand. I was approved for a great amount and was able to get a full set of quality tires. From start to finish, I was taken care of quickly--he got my keys and had everything moving within about 10-15 minutes. Thank you, Jake M, for being helpful, honest, and efficient! Team diagnosed noise issue as needing a transfer case replacement. They offered a certified used…read morepart to replace, roughly 50% cost of new part and I agreed. After picking up the repaired vehicle 5 days later, the transfer case failed catastrophically within 20 miles of highway driving (left me stranded on highway with drive shaft decoupled from the transfer case). Had the vehicle towed back to Fast Lane. They took 2 weeks to replace the transfer case (they said it was under warranty), but they refused to cover my towing expenses (less than $300). I called them multiple times and was told multiple times that their manager would call me back, but they never called me back. Grungy lobby, disorganized & cluttered shop space, poor customer service. I will not return to this shop and I cannot recommend.
