SCAM ALERT Good…read moreevening, My name is Erina Love, I am writing in regards to my Kia Sorento that has been at you guys shop since Thursday morning. I originally came to you guys last month to get an Vavle Gasket cover replaced. I was told that the part was going to be ordered than I can bring my car. Once the part came in I was called and informed I could come drop my vehicle off and pick it up after 5 hours. The next day my car was still not done then I was told the mechanic (Lenny) hadn't started working on my car yet. Two -three days later I was told that all the parts hadn't come in yet which is crazy because why wasn't informed this BEFORE I dropped the car off. A week and some change of getting the run around I finally get my car back and the check engine light is on (NEVER was on Before)but was told because engine work was done that the light comes on then resets itself. I drive the car for a few days the light never goes off and it has some shaking and word sounds coming from the engine. I call the shop to let them know the light is still on and my car is making a weird notice. My car ALSO starts to over heat. Again something that has NEVER happened before. Inform the shop and they tell me to bring it up to check it out. That was last Wednesday it is not Tuesday and just like the last time I am CONSTANTLY getting a run around. I call from my number with no answer the immediately call from a different number and the phone is answered. At this point I feel as they I am being scammed or played with. This is HIGHLY unprofessional and I need answers and my vehicle fixed. A five hour job has turned into a night mare and weeks of me having no vehicle. I need to speak with the owner Brian ASAP! Apparently management changed, the tech who signed off on the safety was no longer there. They denied everything they had told me the first day. They told me this guy that sold me the vehicle brings in at least two vehicles a month for safety. When I called the second time they mistakened me for different vehicle for the same issue, a supposed passed safety. Clearly something is going on in this shop. I wouldn't trust buying another vehicle that was safetied by this shop.

I was already working with Scott at Michigan Sandblasting and planned to have my Jeep's underbody sandblasted there. Rashid told me they could apply POR-15 afterward, so based on that I paid to have the Jeep towed down there. After it arrived, everything changed. Rashid started questioning the project and for over a week I was given the runaround. Multiple times Rashid told me he would "talk to Scott figure out a solution and call me back," but the call back never happened. Every time I followed up I got the same vague response and nothing actually moved forward. Rashid knew all of the details prior to me towing it down there. If this wasn't a job they wanted to take on, that should have been communicated from the beginning instead of telling me to bring the vehicle down and spend money towing it there. It's extremely frustrating to be told something can be done, only to have the shop avoid giving a straight answer after the vehicle is already there. Very disappointing and unprofessional way to handle a customer. I wasted time and money because they couldn't simply be upfront about whether they were willing to do the work.
