Delays and frustration are caused by the antiquated and inefficient computer programs that had constant malfunctions. Why bother with the online pt forms when you get to do it all again, via print and sign? The owner was my chiropractor yesterday, for a new patient visit to help my very painful, acute flare up. She was abrupt, loud, and doesn't seem to understand that we patients are not her employees or children. She needs work on soft skill training, active listening, TONE, humility and patient respect. Her loud voice, large and in charge persona, with fake valley girl accent, was jarring on my nerves, as I sat in pain, waiting for relief. I assumed she was a new chiropractor with the practice due to her flippant attitude and lack of professionalism. I had no idea she runs the place until my 2nd visit today. When i made the appointment, i was assured i would get treatment of at least 4 modalities. I waited on her to finish with other patients, as I sat in an exam room with zero sound proofing, on an uncomfortable chair without support to my back. I could hear it all! I have no business knowing the private health of other patients. She did most of the talking, at them, with mindless and loud chatter. All about her, her family and her holiday celebrations. As each one completed their less than 3 mins of treatment, she would loudly crow, "remember to wear an ugly xmas sweater when you come in next time!" Many ppl do not celebrate for reasons of their own, find holidays pagan or depressing. Chronic pain can limit the ability to party. I refuse xrays for noninjury, chronic inflammation but she pushed her hard sell and I said maybe in a future visit, if medically indicated. She asked questions and made comments that showed she did not listen to hear what I just told her and that she didn't bother to read my on line form nor the thorough assessment, that was just completed, by one of her kind employees. All clearly stated I am a double below knee amputee. When she saw one of my prosthetics showing at the bottom of my pant keg, she said, "oh I see you're a single amputee" :/ Finally, after a two hour visit, without xrays, she told me she was too busy to manipulate my painful spine and scheduled me for today with a different chiropractor in her office. I didn't know until today, that the lowest performing employee i saw in 2 days was actually the owner! I am sad for her employees and patients who must suffer her grandiose narcissism and unprofessionalism. Today, the treatment included, no warm up to my thoracic spine, no tens nor rollers. A dropbtable was used for my lower back and one crack between my shoulders and all done! That's all I was allowed for today. I'm betting my chart was marked for disobedience to the xrays! I do not support businesses that seem to care more about attention seeking and volume billing, than helping my pain after spending TWO HOURS there yesterday and coming back in again today for what should have been done yesterday. I got zero relief. U R FIRED. Zero stars

A True Miracle Worker - "He Gave Me My Life Back!"…read more If I could give Dr. Simon more than five stars, I would. I was in a desperate, heartbreaking place before I found him. Following an MVA, I was diagnosed with various injuries and was eventually confined to a wheelchair for almost two months, and I felt like I was completely out of options. I had seen a parade of specialists--orthopedic doctors, Spine specialist, physiatrist, physic al therapist, and pain management doctors--to no avail. My experience with other medical professionals was deeply frustrating. The orthopedic doctors and spine surgeons essentially washed their hands of me after deciding against surgery- referring me to pain management, physical therapy, and physiatrist for epidurals . Each time an epidural was scheduled, the pain management team had to cancel the procedure because of pain induced high blood pressure. Physical therapy wasn't moving the needle, and I stopped taking opioids due to a real potential for dependency. By now, I was in a wheelchair and in constant pain. I felt completely stuck and hopeless. By the time I met Dr. Simon, I had practically run out of options. Dr. Simon looked at me and said he was going to try to help me. And he actually did. Within just 5 visits, the impossible happened: I was out of the wheelchair and using a walker. After a few more visits, I progressed even further--I was able to walk short distances without a walker and now , within 4 weeks of seeing Dr, Simon, I am walking completely off my walker and walking independently! After months of hitting brick walls with specialists, Dr. Simon is the one who finally got me back on my feet--literally and figuratively. He has given me a brand-new lease on life, and I truly don't know what I would have done without him. I am forever grateful for his compassion, dedication, and skill. Dr. Rita is FANTASTIC! She's quick but thorough. The office offers stim therapy, piezo wave…read moretherapy, massage therapy, roller tables, decompression therapy, etc. First, the adjustment....Dr. Rita uses a drop table which I have found to be a much better and pleasant experience than chiropractors who do not use a drop table. It's less jarring and you don't feel violated by the Dr lol. The neck adjustment can also be done with the drop table which was a first for me. However, I find the manual manipulation of the neck provides better relief. Dr. Rita is very kind and personable. It's always a fun chat during the adjustments. Piezo Wave Therapy....Debbie administered this for my frozen shoulder and it was the weirdest sensation. It hurt for a super short period of time so she knew where to focus the machine. After one session my shoulder was feeling great. Debbie also works at the front desk for checkin/checkout and is super helpful. The Stim Therapy is usually done after the adjustment (you can do this or choose the roller table). This is basically just placing electrode pads on certain areas and providing stimulation to the area. AKA a TENS machine or EMS. I bought a TENS machine for use at home and find this really helps. Because I now own a TENS machine, the last few visits I have been opting for the roller bed. It appears the table can be set to either Cervical, Thoracic, or Lumbar focus and it's timed....I think 10 minutes? It provides an awesome stretch and massage all at the same time. The practice is great as a whole. The ladies that work the front are very friendly and helpful. You can usually get a next day and sometimes same day appointment if needed. I really like that you can either call or text the practice line and they are very quick in responding. I have never seen Dr. Perkins or Dr. Jones but have heard good things about them too in the office. The office is LGBTQ+ friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Rita.
