GREEK SALAD The Greek salad with blackened shrimp was fresh, with perfectly seasoned shrimp that added a great smoky depth. All the ingredients were fresh and crunchy. Feta wasn't overwhelming, just perfect. FRESH FISH SANDWICH The blackened fresh fish sandwich, also served with chips, was a highlight with its flaky, well-seasoned fish. SHRIMP DINNER The blackened shrimp dinner, which came with garlic bread and cocktail sauce, was another standout--generous portions and bursting with flavor. The garlic bread was delish and went with the shrimp, which was cooked to perfection. Super tender and juicy. Service was fast and friendly, making the experience even better. The Mac and cheese was fine but came out cold, which was confusing considering it was so busy, I don't know why food would be in the window for long periods. There are tables and chairs with umbrellas outside, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy lunch before heading to the beach. They're open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 2 PM and closed Sunday and Monday, so plan ahead because this popular spot definitely draws a crowd. A Hidden Gem Inside 1718 Brewing…read more- Must-Try! Marauder's Kitchen just took over the food space at 1718 Brewing Company, and we were so pleasantly surprised by how fantastic their food is! Yesterday I had the oyster po' boy with coleslaw-perfectly fried oysters, fresh toppings, and a flavorful remoulade that brought it all together. Today I came back for the fish tacos with pineapple and slaw, and they're equally delicious-fresh, light, and full of flavor. The portions are generous, everything tastes incredibly fresh, and the menu pairs perfectly with the beer from 1718. The team was friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has that laid-back island charm. If you're in Ocracoke --don't miss this place. We'll definitely be back!

I had the mango shrimp wrap which was nicely filled with plumb shrimp cooked just right. The fried calamari was slightly over cooked and felt like it was from a frozen bag not fresh from the water. The mozzarella sticks also seemed to come from a bag and the one I attempted to eat had no cheese inside. The grilled fish sandwich was tasty and a good size except they left the skin on which I know a lot of people like but not me.
