Outside of the food truck. Can there be a better vibe?

5 stars all day long. Small food truck on the side of the ride on a quiet island... What more could you want? We got lucky and got a picnic table in the "dining area". We pulled our little golf cart in thinking that we were going to get a "quick lunch". Yeah.... It kept us full the entire day. EVERYTHING is fresh and made to order, so the very small wait is well worth it. We got the fresh guac with chips which was phenomenal. I got the Fish tacos which was absolutely delicious and obviously fresh. My son and my wife got the chicken tacos and they both said that were very good. We had a nice shady spot to eat and drink our Mango Jarritos soda. Very relaxing and low key. When you're done, the lighthouse is right down the street off of the side street. I'm very glad we stopped in for a great island lunch.

Eduardo's is an excellent reason to go to Ocracoke. The food is always delicious and you never leave feeling anything but stuffed and wondering when the next time you'll have a fish taco will be! My boyfriend and I have been waiting a long time to visit Ocracoke BECAUSE of Eduardo's. Always a highlight.

While on the island your food choices are slim. This is a permanent food truck that is known for burritos. Parking is easier if you are staying on the island and you travel by golf cart. Otherwise, road vehicles can park on the few nearby street pull offs. I went to the counter and the staff was not real nice. Not even a hello, just leaned down and looked at me. Beware they close early so if you are coming to the island for the day plan accordingly. The people eating at the tables didn't seem very happy either, most likely because of the cost of what they were eating for what it was. I asked a guy that was leaving what he thought, and he said "meh". I will post the latest menu, but it seems for the size they cost double compared to Chipotle.

Can't recommend. Overpriced, ridiculous hours (closes at 3pm) and very poor attitude if you happen to walk up and they're closing in 20 minutes. What is the point of keeping the ridiculously short hours if you're going to have a bad attitude when someone walks up on your food truck 20 minutes before you're going to shut it down? Just shut down earlier, what does it even matter at that point? Ended up going to the grocery store and buying the ingredients and making it myself.

Really good tacos! Tried the blackened fish tacos with the mango pico and the flavors and textures of the fish were great and paired really well with the fresh toppings including cabbage, corn, avocado, and lots of citrus. Fish was neither too oily nor cold. Taco shells also held up well.

Last day on the island and we wanted breakfast. I feel like its hard to navigate that area during the off season. We had seen this spot a few times and it didn't show up on Yelp initially we stopped in after our first two stops were a bust. Outside seating. Little long on waiting for a food truck, I just wonder about that and long lines Chilliques, pork belly torta, and a bacon breakfast burrito. AMAZING! Nothing about it was disappointing. They make the tacos wITH flour. So no GF there. Looks like you can get fresh chips and salsa for snacks to go.

If you're looking for exceptional Mexican food, let's go k no further! I've eaten here many times over the years & have found the food quality and choice only gets better. Yesterday I had the pollo, carnitas & asada tacos on corn tortillas & they were really good. Today I had the grilled Mahi tacos on flour tortillas & they were exceptional! You will need to ask for a side of salsa. They automatically give you the salsa verde with tomatillo. There is so much to like about this place in their new location! The only downside is limited parking & no bathroom

Best meal I had in Ocracoke was from this food truck! Plenty of outdoor seating! The tacos were extremely fresh! I wish it had a bit more of a kick, but this was probably the freshest taco I've ever had. Very authentic, filling and delicious! Ordered the shrimp tacos, scallop tacos and salsa. Comes with 3 and very generous with the filling inside! I would love to come back and try their burritos and breakfast options. This place does get crowded so be prepared to wait a bit for your food! Highly recommend!

Eduardo's is a true gem and absolutely worth the wait in the hot sun. Take your time and really read the menu. Don't be afraid to try a few different things. The food is guaranteed to always be fresh and flavorful. Excellent food. We had overheard recommendations from several local residents, and since we love a good authentic meal plus Mexican food, we decided to give it a try. Dismiss the food truck/trailer bias if you have one, and chow down on some really good food. They have reasonable prices, they give out generous portions, and the service is fairly quick. I couldn't have been more pleased finding this place on the main road and pick out something from a vast menu. Fresh local seafood, tacos, burritos, and whatever sounds tasty. Flavorful and delicious. I had the Cheesy Fusion Taco. Marinated jerk chicken with pineapple mango salsa, lettuce, and avocado. I also ordered grilled chicken tacos, which come in three tacos. My grilled chicken tacos came with a side of salsa, avocado, cilantro, and onions in corn tortillas. Yes, I was very hungry. Lol The ambience of the place is very calming, but due to the limited seats, it can be challenging. They are a dog friendly business.

My wife and I went here for breakfast while at Ocracoke one morning on vacation. We were blown away at how delicious and flavorful the food was! Service was great and the foot came out fast! If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely go there again!

Was disappointed I've heard a lot of good things about this place but I guess I'm just used to real Mexican food. The chicken tacos didn't have enough flavor. The verde sauce did help but I believe all chicken should have their own good flavor then add more to make it complete. But I guess for how small the town is it's the best they got. Next time I'll try carne asada and hope for the best.

I love this place! The cheesy shrimp tacos are my favorite. I cannot go to ocracoke without getting them. And apparently on my birthday three times.

We came early for apps and drinks and were considering if we wanted to stay for our dinner meal too since the menu looked fantastic (and the ragu was eyeing me down!). It was surprisingly incredibly quiet with only a few of the porch tables taken, so we didn't feel like we were holding anyone up since it was quiet and early. While we were deciding on dinner, the waitress approached us and asked if we made our minds up. When saying we needed a minute but wanted to start with rolls and cocktails, she said, "well can I take your menus then? Or one?" Which felt odd given there weren't many people there at all and we still wanted to decide what apps a dinner to order. Otherwise, she hadn't checked back on us for another 30 minutes after ordering drinks and bread to start, so feeling like a nuisance, and we decided not to get dinner here anymore and we'd go elsewhere. Then, trying to wave the waitress down felt impossible almost as though she was avoiding our table, we had to ask another server for her to grab our check. Otherwise, the outside porch was perfect and shady with fans and airflow for a hot summer day. Very homey! The house made bread was absolutely fantastic. The French 75 was heavy handed on the gin, which can be both good and bad depending how you look at it! Worth the money for us!

Craving Pizza on the Island? Sorella's is a Must-Try!…read more While visiting the island, I found myself in the mood for some good pizza, so I decided to check out Sorella's for dinner--and I'm so glad I did! With its reputation for hearty, flavor-packed dishes, it was the perfect spot to satisfy my cravings. What We Ordered: * BBQ Pizza * Big Daddy Pizza * Stromboli BBQ PIZZA This pizza was a savory-sweet masterpiece! The olive oil base paired beautifully with the barbecue chicken, caramelized onions, and smoky bacon. The addition of jalapeños brought the perfect kick, while the cheddar and mozzarella created a rich, melty layer of cheesy goodness. Topped with a barbecue swirl, every bite was packed with bold flavors that balanced sweetness and spice perfectly. It was a creative twist on classic pizza flavors, and it didn't disappoint. BIG DADDY PIZZA If you're a fan of the classics, this one's for you. The Big Daddy Pizza was piled high with red sauce, beef, sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, red onions, mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese. Each ingredient brought something special to the table: the meats were perfectly seasoned, the vegetables added a satisfying crunch, and the mozzarella held it all together with a gooey, cheesy blanket. This pizza is a hearty, crowd-pleasing option for anyone who loves a fully loaded slice. STROMBOLI This was the showstopper for me! Stuffed with red sauce, pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, red onions, mushrooms, and mozzarella, the Stromboli was simply heavenly. The crust was golden and perfectly baked, with just the right balance of crispness and chewiness. The filling was indulgent, packed with meat and cheese, making it a dream for any meat lover. Every bite felt comforting and decadent--a must-try if you visit Sorella's. We opted for takeout and enjoyed our meal during a cozy movie night at our rental. The pizzas and Stromboli held up beautifully, still warm and fresh when we dug in. Sorella's proved to be the perfect blend of convenience and quality for a relaxed evening in. Sorella's nailed it on every level--flavor, portion sizes, and variety. Whether you're in the mood for a creative take on pizza like the BBQ Pizza, a classic loaded option like the Big Daddy, or the indulgent Stromboli, you're bound to find something to love here. If you're ever on the island and craving pizza, Sorella's is the place to go. I'll definitely be back for more!

We ordered the seafood platter deep fried which ended up being a mess. The shrimp were chewy and there was barely anything of any item. Nothing was seasoned and the crab cake while full of crab was dry. The shellfish trio was the best item ordered that had plenty of scallops, shrimp, and crab meat. The pesto cream sauce was serviceable but the dish is average at best. We had two different daily specials, the mojo yellowfin tuna and the Parmesan crusted triggerfish. The mojo yellowfin tuna was cooked well enough, with it being mostly raw in the center, but lacked really any flavor and a tad bit overcooked on one side. It was served over some rice, beans, and a fruit salad. Off combination and not great. There was a side of what tasted like boiled unseasoned zucchini/squash. Abysmal side and a terrible dish, but not even the worst dish. The Parmesan encrusted triggerfish was the worst dish I've ever been served. The dish even from its conception is poorly designed as it has way too much Parmesan. Usually for a Parmesan encrusted dish there would be about an 80/20 split of breadcrumbs to Parmesan, however this dish was almost all Parmesan likely 10/90 of breadcrumbs to Parmesan. The overwhelming flavor of Parmesan was the only thing you can taste and totally masked the triggerfish. The worst part was while half of the fish was fine the other half had something terribly wrong with it. Instead of being flakey the other half was rubbery and chewy and tasted nothing like fish. This rancid half could barely be cut with a knife and made us sick. This was also served with a side of unseasoned squash just to make it even worse. The strawberry rhubarb pie and chocolate pecan pie were both fine but didn't amaze. With everything being so terrible food wise the restaurant is even worse with every entree being over $30 and the acoustics were terrible. The whole place is so loud when it's a full house and you have to scream to talk to someone at your table. The prices present a high quality meal but I wouldn't even pay fast food prices.
