I can't believe I haven't done a review yet. I've been seeing Dr. Dressen since 2014. I wanted relief from my migraines. I was encouraged by a friend who used chiropractic care to help her migraines, to try chiropractic care for my migraines. Nothing else was working, so I thought I would give it a try. It worked for my friend so maybe it could work for me. Best decision I ever made was coming here! I felt INSTANT relief from my first adjustment (came in with a migraine and it went away immediately!) and never looked back. 7 years later, he's worked with me through 2 pregnancies (he's amazing even when doing pregnancy adjustments... highly recommend for pregnant ladies) and some injuries. I love this place. The office women are kind and welcoming. I have worked exclusively with Dr. White and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has taught me about the physiology of my back, my particular injuries, the things I need to do to prevent further injury and has provided a great deal of relief from the pain that had become chronic and pervasive. The other aspect that is so excellent is Dr White's bedside manner. I typically go for a "myofascial" which is a 15 minute massage prior to my adjustment and it really loosens my back to allow for my joints to be fluid for the adjustment. She is friendly and her positivity flows through her healing work. Yesterday I was having a bad day and as soon as she touched me, I began to have a healthy cathartic cry. I often try to withhold my feelings and she wouldn't let me distract myself because I needed to let it go and not let it sit in my back. In other words, she recognizes the truth of the mind and body connection and created a safe space for me to let go of some pain. As a result my back had one of the best adjustments I've ever and I feel emotionally and physically pain free today. Please go see Dr White if you are having pain. I don't even know where to begin! I suffered from neck pain from a very painful injury. Over time the pain spread both ways. Down to my shoulder and arm and wrapped around my neck up to my face. I would get really bad headaches that made it very difficult to do much of anything. I have a special needs kiddo that requires a lot of attention and care so being "down for the count" from pain is not really an option. After ONE, yes ONE adjustment from Dr. Dreessen I went from a 10+ on the pain scale to a 2!!!! I went home and cried...I was so happy and relieved! He is magic! OK he is scientific too, but, WOW! I consider myself to be in pretty good shape, but a couple of times I have tweaked something in my rib/shoulder area (once stretching in bed!) and this time favoring half my body (due to an injured knee). More than just chiropractic care. I just love this place because you can drop in for your chiropractic adjustment. You don't have to be locked in to an appointment time. You do have to schedule massages and they have some of the most skilled massage therapists. I have also done treatments for a traumatic brain injury (due to an auto accident) on their PEMF machine.
