LONGGGG OVERDUE review for Dr. Ryan! I had been seeing him for almost a year now? Sheesh! SORRY! He's basically the most thorough chiro that you can depend on. From the first day, suggesting all his new patients to get an x-ray so he knows where to treat and assess any problem areas that you may not be aware of. He will walk you through it all as he's adjusting you, ask the right questions to know for his knowledge/ He's helped me get back to where I was before I got injured along side getting acupuncture as well. I saw Dr. Ryan's videos via IG around December 2022 and I believe that I decided to see him end of January 2023 or beginning February 2023. I have been having back pain for a long time. From car accident injury never really healed also worked in healthcare environment for 15 yrs, all the above lol top it all, I had couple miscarriages and difficulty pass through first trimester of pregnancy. Anyways, his front staff Kyla is super nice and accommodating. There's another doctor across the room from Dr. Ryan that did the assessment prior to see Dr. Ryan (I'm sorry totally forgot his name) he was very helpful too, he listened to all your concerns and helped with the X-ray. Then I went to see Dr. Ryan, we were laughing cus my body was just ready to get cracking and popping lol Funny story, I asked if chiropractor would help with pregnancy and Dr. Ryan was so humbled and he said "it may due to all adjustments and help nerves, etc. and seen clients also gotten pregnant". I thought okay cool and didn't think of anything else. I got home and slept 14 hrs and never happened before also told my husband since he's also a first responder. He thought okay I'm crazy but then I went second time and I was able to sleep again without any problems and all my back problems were gone. Long story short, 3rd visit to Dr. Ryan.. I brought my husband with me and guess what? I told him That got pregnant. We continue seeing Dr. Ryan, he continue helps my husband and myself. Now, here we are in July.. I am 23 weeks pregnant and healthy! Thank you so much Dr. Ryan for always being so kind, honest, and your talents have definitely been blessings for our family!!! Can't speak more highly about this place. I love it here! When first entering, it is a very clean and organized space with a friendly staff. Check in is very easy and the wait time is never long. Scheduling is also very easy as well and as long as you tell them 24 hours in advance, you can adjust your appointments. I also love that I can communicate via text. Now for the main event, Dr. Hansard. He is wonderful!!! His adjustments are next level and it never seizes to amaze me how he adjusts me. I always feel taller and more balanced after seeing him. My experience with Dr. Ryan and his team has been amazing. From my first interaction I could tell that Back to Action Chiropractic was a class act. Both Dr. Raymond and Dr. Ryan listened to me and understood that I needed help due to sitting at a desk for decades and not taking care of my posture. They charge 325 up front and accept out of pocket PPO only. If your deductible isn't met they don't pay that for you. Once you meet the dedutible they still charge you cash until they receive comprensation from your insurance before reimbursing you the portion your insurance paid. They send you an email that tells you to call them but then when you leave a message they will text you the answer to the question you called about. Seems shady and like they just in it for the money not the people. I wouldn't take my chances. There are other chiropractors out there with tons of experience and just as efficient with your pocket still intact to your shorts when you leave. read more

My review isn't meant to bash on Dr. Ryan but I wanted to share my experience in case someone finds themselves in the same situation. I went to see Dr. Ryan for an adjustment due to a specific back pain and while everything went well initially, 4 days after my adjustment, I couldn't walk for the next 2 weeks. I had to see a back specialist and get an MRI and after a couple of appointments (and a lot of money), it appeared that I had an underlying issue that was missed in my X-rays with Dr. Ryan. MRIs give you more information than X-rays and in the end, my adjustment worsened the pinched nerve under my L5. Long story short, it's taken months to get better and I still have issues bending down. I tried speaking with Dr. Ryan and while he left me one voicemail, he never returned my other calls afterwards. I understand that there are risks associated with any chiropractic adjustment but when I tried to talk to him about it, I was ignored. Yes ignored because I left multiple messages with his receptionist and she told me he's very busy and would get back to me. He never did. Given the amount of money that's asked on a first consultation, I had higher expectations but alas, there's nothing I can do. All I can do is share my situation in case someone is in the same situation. If you have a back issue, just be aware of the potential risks and maybe do more research before getting an adjustment. read more

A lot of people has been asking about my experience with the chiropractor and I have to admit..I was never a believer. All my past experiences had been impersonal where they stick me in a room and just place the electronic sticky device on me that sends out a slight shocking sensation on areas that didn't apply to why I was there in the first place. Leaving me with the same pain that came in with. Well my recent experience has been one of my best experiences EVER! Dr. Ryan took the time to listen to my complaints and he took X-rays to ensure me of the proper diagnosis. He explained everything to me and adjusted me and I felt instant relief!! For the past week I've been experiencing pain on my left shoulder which caused my left arm, hand and fingers to go numb. I wasn't able to put my arm down without having severe pain. After multiple ER visits and days of icing and taking pain meds and muscle relaxers I finally went to visit him and sure enough, I was able to put my arm down without that sharp pain. I'm still recovering from gaining sensations back in my arm and hands but Dr. Ryan says that'll come in time. I would highly highly recommend him to everyone! He is very very personal and thorough every time! These visits should be apart of our lifestyle now just like our nails appointments, eyelash appointments and gym visits. This morning was my first visit with Dr. Hanstad, and I had an amazing experience! Doctor took the time to go over the anatomy of the spine/CNS, then gave me an X-ray, which confirmed his diagnosis (I had no clue up to that point). Dr. Ryan is the most amazing chiropractor my husband and I have ever seen. We have been seeing him regularly (once a week) for over a year now. Each visit is 15-30 minutes, he starts by massaging out your muscles and then adjusting everything from your feet, to your neck. I've had insomnia for several weeks and NOTHING worked - melatonin nothing, until my long awaited appointment finally came. I can't believe that skipping one session (due to being on vacation) and finally getting back to the stresses of day to day life would cause insomnia, but it did.
