Dr David is a miracle worker! I suffered with sciatic pain on my lower back that traveled down my leg for months until I was referred to Dr David. When I say Dr. Nate gave me my life back, I truly mean it. I have fibromyalgia. I lost functionality to the point of daily cane use, being stuck in bed and having doctors order exercise routines of light walking for a minite at a time. The pain was unbearable and often brought me to tears. I was simply trying to exist and barely surviving mentally and physically. My medical team and specialists gave me nothing. I've been struggling with severe migraines for what seems like my whole life. I've always been skeptical about going to the chiropractor, and having someone mess with my spine made me feel uneasy. I've been going to this place for several years and have had both dr.nate & dr.david adjust me-- & let me just say how amazing they are! Whether it's cupping, acupuncture, or adjustments they never disappoint. They truly care about what's best for you and your body. They also show you stretches and other upkeep so you can maintain the work they've done. They work at your pace and take the time to explain things to you. I even got my boyfriend ( who is super picky) to fall in love with them. They're so personable, they remember little things, and are always willing to work with your schedule. They greet me the second I walk in and always to make sure to let me know they can fit me in if I feel like I need another adjustment before our next appointment. Over a year ago I suffered from severe frozen shoulder. You think it's no big deal until one day it's painful and difficult to lift your arm to brush your hair. My GP had referred me to do some PT, but even the PT had told me to come back as my shoulder was pretty severely frozen. I prefer to avoid surgery as much as possible and thought I'd give acupuncture a try and hope that it would alleviate some of the pain and help with my range of motion. I should've started sooner, to be honest. I'm happy that I took the plunge and tried acupuncture. It helped tremendously and when i had a decent range of motion I was able to go back to PT. The combination of the two helped get my shoulder to where it used to be. I won't lie, it took a few months, but with every visit I could tell there was a bit of improvement. Last March was the start of Covid lockdown/quarantine. I guess I processed the stress of everything going on in the world by clenching my teeth in my sleep, which doesn't help TMJ. I've always had some clicking and occasional TMJ issues, but this time it was back with a vengeance. Severe pain and difficulty eating certain foods. As I had a lot of success with frozen shoulder I thought I'd try acupuncture for TMJ pain. It helped tremendously! So far True Health and Wellness is batting two for two! I started coming to True Health & Wellness end of January this year. I have bi-weekly visits with Dr. Nathan for Chiropractic work and massages with Osnid. Due to Jiu jitsu and working at a desk i had a very noticeable lump at the base of my neck and shoulders. The gym was closed due to COVID, so the only workouts I've been doing is minor lifting 1-2 times a week. My first month I went weekly to try and correct my posture to help the lump. I'd get adjusted by Dr. Nathan one week, then do an hour massage with Osnid, aka Oz. The dual appointments got me to the point where I can really pin point my pain or discomfort and can get the most relief out of my visits. I was also able to drop 8 lbs which was also very nice. I now go 2-4 times a month depending on what my body needs. I'm about to start my jiu jitsu membership up again now that the economy is opening back up. I'm a runner, by no means elite or even close to elite, but I do like to be competitive, and often place in my age group and have won or made podium on a few small 5k races in the area. However, I've been dealing with Achilles pain and pain the back of my heel for over a year now. I swear, I had read everything there is on the internet and watched all the videos on how to overcome this (okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but just a little) but nothing worked. I even took 6 weeks off running, and on my return, the issue was still there. I started seeing Dr. David, and he helped out in a number of ways. Not only did he help with exercises and things to do at home, but there were things that I didn't have access to at home, like these leg compression sleeve things, or laser therapy (which I was skeptical about at first, but I feel they really helped!) In any case, after seeing him for a few weeks, I started being able to start running more consistently again. I've now been running for almost two months, without taking a day off, and have slowly increased up to 55 miles this past week. I no longer wake up having to take tiny steps in the morning anymore, and I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. For the initial appt we went over the intake forms and Dr. David asked questions regarding my responses. We discussed that in a large open room that the only thing dividing the other patient and I were cubicle divider looking half walls. If you're feeling a bit shy about your medical history ask for a more private space. After going over that he worked his magic and I can genuinely say he removed a few years from me. I've been to 4 chiropractors in my life before Dr. David. They all asked me where I'm in pain. What they all had in common was that they did the same thing every single time I came no matter what I said. One of them even used a machine that made my muscles twitch for 10 minutes. I guess it seemed cool at the time. But at the end of the day, it was the same routine every time. Dr. David is genuine and does what is actually needed. I came to him with headaches, hip pain, and knee pain. I couldn't run for a over a year and thought I would never be able to run again. On my first treatment, he took my headache away. The hip pain went away after a couple of treatments. The knee pain, however, was an enigma. I went to the doctor and got x-rays. I did physical therapy and was finally referred to an ortho and none of them could figure it out. Fast-forward a few months later and I'm now able to run again. I was referred to this place by a friend for my lower back pain. I've been to physical therapy which helped a little and maybe 3 other chiropractors. I had lost hope and thought that I was going to live in pain for the rest of my life! That's when I met Doctor Nate! I wasn't sure what was wrong, I just knew there was pain in my lower back. Doctor Nate assessed the situation and educated me on the issue. I had a really tight QL and erector spinae muscles along with poor posture. He released these muscles and gave me a couple adjustments and by the second session I had already felt huge difference from when I first walked in!
