The staff and team at Tustin Physical Therapy are nothing but exceptional. I've been coming here for about three months for my sciatica pain. Victor and Jake are the two physical therapists I've mainly been working with, but all the other staff have been great. They are well organized, have a great calendar system for setting up appointments, and are very easy to work with. While it sucks that I'm suffering through sciatic pain, I enjoy coming here to get some relief, go through some exercises and stretches, that leave me feeling a lot better. read more

Had right shoulder replacement surgery in Dec 2025 and used Tustin Physical Therapy for recovery and strengthening. I came to Tustin Physical Therapy Specialists (TPTS) thinking that I had a knee issue, but instead Jessica and her team (Tina, Joseph, Camille, etc.) really worked to understand that I truly had a back issue and made sure that I was maintaining proper form through all of the exercises. Throughout the course of my care (6ish months), I really felt listened to and cared for. The administrative team (Tina, Brian, etc.) were also kind and easy to work with, being proactive in scheduling me for appointments and getting me in to visit them when there was an opening that worked for my schedule. Without the entire team at TPTS, I definitely would have kept living with my pain. Now, I'm pain free and know how to take care of myself if there are flare ups. This is the place to go . Lower back pain and numbness in legs caused by spinal bone spurs. Doctor ordered physical therapy and strongly recommended this particular facility. He was right . My therapist is John and he is great. Knowledgeable in his initial examination and committed to easing my pain . He told me he felt he could make a difference and after 3 sessions I have pain relief. Best part are the back massages that greatly contributes to the process. There may be other good therapist there but I would ask for John! read more

I came here last year referred to them by my sports medicine doctor and a great time here. I worked with Katia and she did a wonderful job treating my shoulder, introducing me to different techniques and treatments. I only went once a week since I was pretty good about doing my exercises at home, and within 12 weeks my shoulder was back up and running and I was good to go! My referring doc said this place used to have great DPT's (actual doctors), but they are gone now. He sent me anyway so I did my sessions and found out that one of the therapists I saw was a PTA (an assistant, not a doctor), and honestly he did not listen and actually made me worse. Two other session were scheduled with Katia (a DPT), but instead I got some newbie, and based on her hesitation and obvious lack of experience, I'm guessing she is also a PTA. BTW, Katia was there both times working on other patients, which annoyed me. I assumed that all the PT's there were doctors, and I think they'd like you to believe that, but it is not the case. It annoys me that I paid the same price to see a doctor as I did to see their assistant. Clearly there is a financial incentive to hire PTA's as opposed to DPT's. Whatever the reason, in the end they were not able to help me so my referring doc sent me elsewhere. read more

I originally selected this place for rehab after my back surgery in 2019. I actually picked this place from a large list of approved facilities from my insurance company because they have a golf simulator and they could make exercise recommendations that could help my game. Nathan Kindstrand runs the place. He's a doctor and a really nice guy..... even though he's from USC. This Bruin appreciated the modern facility and great staff. Nathan took exercises from my current regimen added a few more and tweaked the ones I already used in an effort to strengthen my core and keep my back from getting tweaked again. This is a very well run facility. My golf game is still terrible but my back feels great. read more

I went to Tustin Physical Therapy for several months with a soft tissue injury caused by overuse. Katia (PT) was able to identify my issues and create a program to rebuild my strength and prevent future pain. She is extremely knowledgable and personable. Once we identified the issues and solutions, I did exercises and movements with her stellar aide, Vanessa. On days Katia was not available, Marion stepped-in and kept me on track. After carefully listening and looking at my condition, she took an integrated approach to my PT, extending her recommendations to my day-to-day physical activities by showing me how to properly engage my muscles in movement and posture. The combination of the tailored exercise routine she created, which she was attentively updating as needed, and all her practical advise for daily life, have made me so much stronger, confident, and cognizant of my body.
