I got in a car accident where my car was totalled, I had extream neck, lower back and knee pains and in only 4 months and 1-2 visits a week got me back into the physical shape where I was before the accident. As a 29yr old athlete, there is a sort of unfounded stigma attached with going to a day spa. I tended to think such places were designed with an older clientele in mind. Any such apprehension was put to rest after seeing and experiencing the facilities amenities, then receiving chiropractic treatment and discussing my lower back issues with Dr. Lakhani. He was extremely helpful in helping me understand why I was having lower back pain as well as its physical effects. I couldn't believe how thorough Dr. Shane Lakhani was! My first time with him he listened very carefully when I listed all my problems and concerns, he never made me feel rushed, he showed me on a skeleton what my spine was doing and how he would correct it. He showed a lot of compassion and care, very easy to talk to. The only other chiropractor I've been to felt like a factory getting in as many people as possible and churning them out just as fast. Definitely not like this with Dr. Shane. I absolutely love that his practice is at Burke Williams, he encourages you to sit in the spa for about 20 min before hand to relax your muscles. The setting is very relaxing, so different then other chiro offices. The table that he adjusts you on is like a massage table, no tissues you have to throw away. During the electro pulse treatment he puts a warm heavy blanket on your back, so relaxing and feels great. He's very gentle with the adjustments and if after adjusting it still doesn't feel quite right he keeps working on you until he's got it and you feel better. The other chiro I was going to was trying to get me in 2-3x a week! Dr. Shane had me in every week for 3 weeks and now that my adjustments look good he's pushed it to every 2 weeks. He works with my insurance and is extremely well price for everything he does I'd say you're getting an excellent deal.
