I don't write Yelp reviews very often, but I just had such an incredible experience at Tocca that I had to leave one. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! I booked the Warrior Shiatsu with the 20-minute Face Shiatsu add-on, and Dice was my massage therapist. This was hands down the best massage I've ever had--not just the best shiatsu massage, but the best massage, period. Dice was incredible. He was so friendly and made me feel comfortable right away, and the pressure throughout the massage was perfect. He found tension in areas I didn't even realize I was holding tension in, and I left feeling completely relaxed and like my whole body had been reset. The face shiatsu was also such a great addition and made the whole experience feel even more relaxing. I'm so glad I found this place and will definitely be coming back. I've been going to Nana for years, and she's hands down one of the best massage therapists around. You really have to book a session with her to get it--she pinpoints exact trouble spots and works out deep tension without ever rushing through the appointment. If you deal with neck, shoulder, or upper-back pain, do yourself a favor and see her. She's the real deal. read more

Walk in and appointments are welcome. This spot is super clean. They have curtains not a full room to go into. U can get a massage w what you walked in with. This place is in the 2nd building in the lot (facing the street). The price was reasonable for and hour massage. U do feel relaxed. Very different from a thai massage. read more

Shiatsu is my preference over other styles because of the focus on precise points on the body. 90 min massages feel like a good sweet spot for a thorough full body massage. I have been taking my mom to this EXCELLENT shiatsu massage place in Orange. All the staff are Japanese and well-trained in shiatsu body work. Very friendly, professional, and hardworking. The front lobby area is calm and relaxing with its beige wood design. The massage rooms are clean and soothing spaces. Massage, according to my mom, is some of the best she has had. Very thorough, perfect pressure, effective techniques, and they find all the problem areas regardless of whether she mentions them beforehand. Easy online booking, reasonably priced (cash or venmo, no credit cards), convenient location on Chapman just off the freeway. Plenty of parking in the shared lot with other businesses. Only downside is no bathroom inside their space, but it is located in the building complex. Not something that is the fault of this great business. I'll try to take and add pictures the next time I'm there, but it was a bit difficult because I want to respect the privacy and zen atmosphere of the space, and since people are there to relax and heal, not always appropriate to be snapping photos. ‍ read more

What a great Japanese shiatsu massage! I was in town from Sacramento and visited based on high recommendations from my in-laws, and it certainly did not disappoint. I've had massages with Nana which I loved from previous trips before, but from another location. I'm so glad she has now opened her own place. My other brother-in-law was also in town at the same time, so he received a massage from Nana while I had Yumi. Yumi is a trainee of Nana's, which made me feel comfortable. Yumi gave me an awesome massage and asked if there were any particular areas I needed worked on. I was very sore in my shoulders and legs, and she definitely loosened them up. I also had some issues with tightening in my hands when I closed my fist, and she appeared to have fixed that as well. I was so impressed and felt relaxed afterward. The place is charming and very professional. It's located in a strip mall with plenty of parking in the back. The massage areas are very clean and have a zen atmosphere. I have been a client of the owner for several years. About three years ago, I had an accident that resulted in the amputation of my right foot. Actually, just realized I didn't even read the reviews, just felt I need to get a shiatsu massage - not just any normal massage. First, place is cozy. The moment I put my face down, immediately I smelled the minty oil on the towel and felt relaxing already. Nami was great! She asked me what I wanted to be worked on, told her my lower back. Nana is a godsend! I've been going to her for at least a year now at another location and was fortunate to know when she opened her own shop! She is a master of shiatsu and knows just the right way to get into stubborn muscle tissue and knots. She plays calming music and I really like the oil-less experience; you keep your clothes on and get a clean flat sheet over your body while she works on your weary muscles. My challenge for myself is to stay awake and appreciate her work, but I often am too relaxed and doze off. Tocca's prices are reasonable and I've never had an issue finding parking at her room tucked in the back side of a shopping complex. I've been having really bad shoulder & neck pains because of my occupation & it's to the point where it gives me horrendous headaches. I feel like it triggered some sense of vertigo in me as well & I've been dealing with this for about 2 weeks now. I quite literally just left my appointment, 90 minute massage with Aoi, & I cannot even begin to explain how much better I feel. I needed a comfortable place to take my Mother that spoke Japanese. The ladies were very nice and took great of her. She has complained of neck pain which I think has kept her for getting a good nights sleep. So they gave extra attention to that area and helped to relieve some of the stress. I enjoyed the shiatsu as well. I felt very relaxed and much of the pain in my body was removed. Thank you so much! Had a shiatsu massage at Tocca and it was one of the best massages I have had! Nana is very strong and somehow finds and works just the right spots. I tend to have 'knots' near my shoulders which are very difficult to get to as they slide under my shoulder blades. Nana got them! She focused on those big knots and didn't just have a routine as others have done. 80% shoulder and back knots and the remaining 20% to feel complete. PERFECT! She is quite busy and booked so I did have to wait until the next day for an appointment and she explained that she is currently the only masseuse there. During my appointment I noticed there was another person working there and she said she is training a few people and they are almost ready to take clients so they were practicing. Her style is more specific and intense than other massages I have received so it's nice to know she trains people herself and the massage I get at Tocca is top notch. The atmosphere is very comfortable, beautiful and serene. Dim lighting and nice soft music adds to the ambiance to relax and enjoy. Will definitely be going back again. It was GREAT!! We met Nana, the owner years ago when she used to work at Tokyo Shiatsu. From the get-go, we noticed a certain gusto/work-ethic/根性 about her. It was easy to see that she would eventually open her own place. As for her massages, despite being petite, the strength of her hands is quite impressive. I have really bad shoulders & neck. I asked her to go hard. Pain is good! She's also responds well to corrections, meaning she know your pain threshold and if she's doing it too hard, I can always let her know. You're in good hands at Tocca! Nana is very knowledgeable when it comes to shiatsu massage. I've been going to her for years and she can always work out the knots I get from work. Shiatsu is more about acupressure points and Nana can just tell where any muscle strains are and get the knots out! This is definitely the kind of massage you want to get if you have any pain or strain, so it's not like a Swedish massage. You're entirely clothed and covered the whole time, but it's still so relaxing! You won't regret booking an appt with her! She's seriously one of the best massage therapists out there! read more
