Upon my initial visit I was greeted with an awkward and unclear explanation of the pricing. I selected a one hour massage, which was I believe $50 (fine price, but not $25 as the signage might lead you to believe). The masseuse continued in uncomfortable, awkward fashion by escorting me to the room and admonishing me multiple times "Everything but underwear!" "Don't take off underwear!" "You leave on underwear!" I think I actually had to say "Okay I get it." Anyway, she actually gave a pretty okay massage. Now my second visit was actually pretty decent. All went more or less as expected for this kind of place. The only hang up was the extra charge for not having cash on me (booo). So the third time I went I was again without cash and expected the fee, but this time I was told (not asked) to tip up front since they were charging the card. Then before I could even respond she says "Twenty dollar... minimum." Yes the "tip" that you are forced to pay upfront has a minimum amount. This is ridiculous. I decided to leave. Another woman came to try and persuade me to stay but I kindly declined. I decided to give this place one last shot, after all it is very close to my place and I did get that one good massage. On this last trip I was met with the same rude behavior as before. This time I had cash but decided to put the massage on my card anyway. When she got to the part about the tip I told I have cash that I'll use for the tip. and I was STILL TOLD to tip up front. I protested. She gave me the minimum and some dumb explanation. I explained to her that the tip is extra. It is supposed to be up to me based on my opinion of their service. She can't tell me how much to tip. If they want to get more money, they should just charge more on the actual price instead of trying to sneak in weird reasons to get more money out of you. So she argued and I just left. I got a great massage at Massage Essence on Red Hill and Bristol. I'll never patronize ABC again.

The first time I met them I was suffering from severe migraine and nausea and I explained it to them using the Google app Translate so we could speak the same language. The girls laughed smiled at each other and took me to the back room and said they knew exactly what to do. It's migraine combined with menopause and they got on the table and worked me over and I thought I would puke onto their shoes! In a matter of a few moments I felt relieved and just can't explain how wonderful it felt to be cured for and all the right buttons pushed to stop the migraine spin. They know their stuff! It may be a language barrier and maybe a little bit of culture barrier with regard to how one would expect a front desk to operate or and any other traditional massage or Spa area. For the money they are extremely extremely worth it and I tip them graciously because they are so severely underpriced and underappreciated. They are always there everyday and they know how to take care of people even if the language barrier. They understand pain and they know they know their stuff and how to fix it! I am very heartbroken for all of the negative posts that are on here but I can assure you if you will take the time to talk with him using the translator on your iPhone or Android phone, they get it and they will help you and they are worth it and they have a very loyal following of faithful patrons like myself.
