Back to the Basket is a fun store. I was a basketball player in high school. Although I no longer play I am still a fan of the game. I live in San Francisco and am a Warriors fan. I am from NY originally and loved the Knicks in the day when Starks, Ewing, Oakley, and Mason where the squad led by Pat Riley. Back to the Basket has all sorts of memorabilia related to basketball from shoes, jerseys, action figures, posters, and a decent selection of hoops books from Magic Johnson's memoir to a biography on the late great Pistol Pete. Friendly staff here and worth checking out if you love basketball as much as I do.

My partner and I were visiting and planned on going to a Blazers game! We did not have any gear and were recommended by some locals to check out this shop! We were greated by a sales person who was really nice and helpful! We got a jersey and a shirt for 60 bucks which is a great deal! If you are looking for cool and vintage basketball clothing/items, I recommend coming here!

I stopped through after many times passing by this neighborhood spot. So glad I finally stopped. Upon entering was greeted warmly with a smile by Jalen (believe that's his name). Good easy conversation and great customer service. Although I know I'm in Portland. I was glad to see they didn't just have Blazers gear. It was a quick stop through. I was glad to find a Vintage 1987-1988 Back to Back Championship Lakers shirt. I'll be back! Support this small local business!

I've been wanting to check this store out and crossing my fingers they still had this sweatshirt in stock. Marries two of my fav things - The Grateful Dead and Blazers. Anyways, the two guys working were so helpful and nice. A 10/10 experience!

The selection here is fantastic, with everything from jackets and hiking shoes to thermal gear and hats, all at factory outlet prices. I've found deals that beat most online discounts, especially during seasonal sales. The staff deserves a shoutout. They're genuinely helpful, not pushy, and always willing to check stock or help you find the right size. You can tell they actually use the products and know what they're talking about. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate -- no digging through messy racks like some outlets. The checkout process is quick, and the team keeps the line moving even when it gets busy. Pro tip: Sign up for the Columbia Rewards program. I've scored some extra savings and early access to sales that make it worth it. Overall, this is one of the best outlet shopping experiences in the Portland area. Whether you're gearing up for a hike or just looking for a solid rain jacket (we are in the PNW), Columbia has you covered -- literally! LMAO

I was specifically hoping to find boots and/or a jacket. On top of having an entire floor full of clearance jackets, they also had about a dozen racks under tents outside of the store. It seemed like they probably had every Columbia jacket that had been made within the past few years. There was also a ton of Mountain Hardware and Sorel. The Mountain Hardware jackets were about 25-50% off, which was still significantly cheaper than REI or anywhere else that I know of. I ended up feeling so overwhelmed by the jacket selection that I decided I needed to do some research, and come back. I ended up leaving with two pairs of snow boots: 1 Columbia, and 1 Sorel. I got both pairs for $55, including tax and a very small roundup for the National Park fund. I've been looking for boots for a couple of weeks, and the cheapest I've found comparable boots anywhere else was anywhere from $69-129. So, I was beyond stoked to find two pairs I liked in the clearance section. They were also having a store wide BOGO half-off sale, which is how the total ended up so low. I didn't have, and have actually never had any of the issues with outlet stores that other people brought up in their reviews. I used to work at the outlets in Folsom. Most of the merchandise isn't damaged or defective-- it's just overstock or barely out of season. The boots that I purchased are honestly of similar quality to brand new boots from DSW. I just got really lucky (and have a seventh sense for when things will be on sale due to all my years of working in retail). Staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience and I would definitely shop here again.

The store looks extravagant with lots of fancy interior arts, illustrations and shoe walls. There are apparel, shoes and some accessories sections. The fitting room area is also nice. As I explored the store, I saw a lot cool shoes, both for men and women. They were some of the newest model of sneakers. For apparels, they had the casual and workout gears. There was a small section for World Cup team merchandise. Prices of the items were Nike standard, on the higher end. The staff members at the store were friendly. Multiple of them interacted with us and also assisted with trying items in fitting room. We bought a Brazil Team's t-shirt. Checkout was quick and easy. As fancy as the store was, I found the variety of products less than most of the Nike stores I have been.

This location is incredibly convenient, with everything I need within walking distance. The prices are reasonable, and it's not as large as the Nike company store. One of the things I appreciate most about this store is that it carries some items that I can't find at other locations. Overall, I find it a decent place to shop for Nike gear. The store wasn't overwhelming due to the sheer volume of products, and the customer service was exceptional. The store wasn't overly crowded, which made it a pleasant shopping experience. In addition to Nike gear, the store also has a good selection of running shoes. However, I did notice that a lot of the shirts I purchased ran two times smaller than what I'm used to. For instance, I usually purchase a medium, but a medium felt like an extra large, so I would have to go with a small, and even that felt a little large. So, be mindful of that when visiting this location. I think this is a pretty good Nike location. I haven't had the opportunity to compare it with other Nike stores in Portland, other than Beaverton, but I was satisfied with my purchases and the overall experience at this store.

To be honest, a lot of the shoes they recommended at Fleet Feet personally I didn't like. Didn't like the look or the feel of. But it also could have been because the shoes I had wearing, were no longer serving their purpose. At the end of it, I did end up liking one shoe, but it was the color way that threw me off. I left and sat in my car, thought about oh I can get this online by tomorrow for $10 more, but I thought about how much the salesman(Michael) helped me and didn't make me feel obligated to buy anything, which I really loved. Which was the reason I came back inside the store to purchase the shoes . 10/10 would recommend. Prior to coming, i wanted an idea of what to expect, I saw people getting inserts recommended an Michael emphasized just try it, if its not comfortable we will move on from them. He did exactly that!
