I wish we would have found this place a couple years ago, really fun and delightful thrift/second hand store with so many cool relics from our youth. That lady who we think owns the place was real fun to get to know and we all share the same common memories of Portland in the 90s. As with any shop like this i would think the selection of stuff is subjective and changes often. Today we were impressed by good amount of records, fun cassettes and some great old clothing with some advertising places long gone like the city nightclub. Looking forward to future visits here to waste a few hours. read more

This place is rad! I'm visiting Portland from NY and made a list of places to check out that looked cool- this was on the top, and did not disappoint! Such a fun selection of items from Knick knacks to clothes to art to amazzzzzzzing furniture. If I didn't have to worry about what I could carry on a plane I would have walked out with *much* more! We attempted to go here yesterday. We showed up at 11:30. The large sign on the building said they open at 11. The sign on the door said they open at noon. We waited in the car until 12:15 and they still hadn't opened. We went to another place and came back at 1:30. Still not open. From the window, it looked like a really cool store! But if it isn't open, it's impossible to shop. If they weren't able to open, a sign on the door would have been appropriate. read more

I've been antiquing and loving vintage goods forever. My dad was always hunting for treasures and rare finds...we always were bopping into weird little stores on the hunt for his next big find! There are a lot of stores that claim to have unique antique/vintage goods...none come CLOSE to Thee Lucky Bastard. The owner is SO nice and helpful. I could spend hours in here looking at things. They have so many great finds every time I go in I leave with an arm full of stuff. Everything is carefully curated and selected. I feel as though they take great care in choosing all items. A great new find! I just happened to wander into the shop and was greated with an amazing array of cool , unique things. They have a crazy selection of vintage clothing and weird oddities. I found myself getting lost exploring all the in's and out's of the store. The owner was also great very welcoming and kind, happy to answer any questions I had. This vintage shop never disappoints! It's a little tricky to find, but parking is plentiful and the shop is huge. There truly is something for any antique lover's taste and price point. This place has the best stuff around. I know that's a bold statement cause of all the shops in Portland but with the size of the shop and Angelic the owners amazing taste in quality antiques, oddities, to just plaIn mid century there's always something to make you leave with a smile! I would advise anyone to check this place out great gift spot for that certain somebody and all around just a great spot. The owner has been doing this occupation for a long time and it shows with the ever revolving items coming in I got an amazing industrial light wired and large for $40 bucks just for an example which myself looking at items all around Portland for years can honestly say it was a great buy! The boyfriend and I were a couple of lucky bastards when we elected to come into this unique, beautiful, eclectic, antique shop. This place has been on my list for a few months and today was the day we decided to venture in. We thought that we would do some "window shopping" and mayyyybe take away a painting or two, buuuuut the antique granny gods laughed in our faces and we drooled over other piece. So, we had to bust out a spread sheet to figure out how and where we needed to cut back on expenses so we could take home a few very much wanted AND needed pieces. Every piece in this store has a story and is unique. Another fun thing is the owner. She was so dang friendly and personable it made it difficult to leave... she knows her shit and she has some fun stories. I kinda... rEAlLy want her to be my friend. We will continue to come back to participate in the stories, and treasure adventures!
