Even more frustrating was getting the actual work done according to schedule. Two or more times the work was delayed and I got no updates from the general contractor about when it would get done, I had to keep asking. I am used to poor communications from every kind of contractor and this was no different.

It is not just their responsibility but mine as well, he does not like oversight and finds it offensive to the point where he restored name calling and bullying to the point asking about my personal life if I was an only child or not. This guy may be inexpensive, but there is a reason it is not the quality of his work but his attitude to clients who care enough to ask questions to be informed to know what we are getting he takes it too personally to the point of asking what do you think I am going to charge you more the what it cost, so he jumps to judgements which are negative and does not ask, "what do you mean". Stay away you may save some money but the berating he gives when he feels questioned about his work is terrible, beyond civil, beyond bombastic is an understatement. Apparently can't keep things on business level had to make it personal with is belittlements.

I had a bad experience with BZR Remodeling. Sean is a nice guy, but unorganized and bad with…read morecommunication. He took over 3-4 weeks longer than originally planned and still did a bad job. To name some specifics on what went wrong: -damaged my table and took over 4 weeks to repair -big delay on the project (3-4 weeks late on a 5 week project) -Sean said he'd be at my place to accept a delivery and did not show up, so I had to rush there during the work day -Left my sofa outside which partially got wet from the rain -Blamed me for the kitchen not fitting the microwave and refrigerator correctly even though the links I sent him for the appliances described the depth needed for the appliances. Microwave and fridge still do not look great -took months to get a receipt -Poor communication (Had to communicate with a few different people rather than just Sean and it was oftentimes a delayed response) The project was completed and within budget, but cannot give higher than a 2 star review for the reasons above. I would not recommend BZR remodeling.
