Now let's talk quesadillas. I'm a man of simple pleasures. A properly done quesadilla is near holy to me. It doesn't need to be Michelin-starred. It just needs to be made with love. I've made plenty myself. Most look like crime scenes but all taste like comfort. That's the standard. So when I dropped $15 for a quesadilla and chips, no drink, I expected to be floored. In a town like this? That's bold pricing. That's Dallas energy. But the truth? My socks stayed firmly on. The quesadilla was fine. Melted cheese, thin tortilla, a bit of steak and salsa. But not $15 fine. And when the price punches that high, the flavor has to hit harder. This one came out like a featherweight. Here's what carried the stars: The staff. Sweet as pie, welcoming, and fast. If I was rating people, this would be a 5-star joint. But I'm rating the plate, and that brings it down to a solid 3. Would I come back? Probably. But next time I'll bring a drink, lower my expectations, and remind myself the real meal in Camp Wood is the peace and quiet.

The veggie a quesadillas were SOOOO good! Pizza was some of the best we've ever had. Salads were so fresh. My husband said the spicy cream corn was phenomenal. We will be back on our next visit! 10/10.

All 3 were perfectly smoked moist and tender. Next time we would double up on the sausage or brisket just because they were SO delicious. Nothing against the turkey but it's just turkey! Sides were borracho beans and mac and cheese both were . Hands down the beans were the most flavorful and perfect consistency I've ever had, simply amazing. Super friendly and polite staff and reasonably priced for quantity and quality. Loved it!

Our usual go to is the 2 meat plate, with brisket and pulled pork. Food came out quick and was served to us at our table. Loved the Texas Salt Co salt and pepper condiments at each table complimentary of the local business in town. B Daddy's offered two BBQ sauces- tangy and original. We preferred the tangy. Brisket had good flavor, enjoyed the crispy outer edges. Pulled pork was nice smothered in the tangy sauce. My sides consisted of potato salad and green beans with bacon. Potato salad was kinda bland- I did have to add salt and pepper. The green beans were total opposite and were highly seasoned- too salty. I'm sure the bacon added to that salt as well. I enjoyed the jalapeños, pickles, and onions alongside my meats. We were stuffed afterwards lol Very clean establishment with friendly service. Lots of table seating indoors. Located right on the Main Street.

This place still needs to learn how to butcher a cow, CORRECTLY!! So, we decided to eat the over abundant amounts of "Beef Top Round Cutlets" that he ended up with. No idea where all the Tenderloin, Ny Strip or Ribeye went to but, this is what his freezer is full of. I think it would be ok for beef jerky but, dang! He already paid $10/lb for this meat gum that you'll have to spit out! Gosh, dang choking hazard!! I didn't cook it incorrectly. It was cut by Edward Scissors hands, actually that would be too great a compliment. I didn't preseason it because, if it's good meat, shouldn't need any seasoning at all. I cooked it on a gas grill very high heat heat. One was cooked well done, and the other one was cooked, medium rare. And I did look up how to cook this meat ahead of time and it should be super high heat, which I did. The issue I have is how thinly they were sliced. It said it was tenderized, but it looked more like somebody was pulverized the meat to make carne confetti. The meat was packed with it being folded under like a shirt to make it appear as if it was thicker than it really was. It was so thin when you held it up to the light, you could see the light shine through it, which made it near impossible to slice it against the grain. $10 a pound and my buddy has a freezer full of this crappy cut of meat. I wouldn't go anywhere near this place! Seems like the owners are "learning on the job"! Don't waste your time or being a veritable Guinea Pig as they try and figure out how to do what they advertise! They're gonna rip you off and probably be laughing at you while they're cooking your good steaks for themselves.
