Friendly good people and great food. Cindy took our order and made some great suggestions. Everything was cooked fresh and delivered piping hot. The wings were outstanding. You could tell they had never been frozen and they were cooked perfectly. The black Betty dry rub seasoning was outstanding. Her other wing flavor suggestions were also very good. The fries tasted just like the cut & cooked to order fries you get at a really good state fair. The house made chips with Cajun sprinkled on them was awesome. Highly recommend going!!!!

Lastly, the biscuits were nothing to write home about. They were not bad but they didn't wow. Overall, I gave Shorty's a three because the food didn't wow me. There was not anything wrong with the food we had at all, and we will probably be back in the future to try some of their other food. Otherwise, my wife and I also loved the feel of the diner itself.
