Good food, worse service. We asked MULTIPLE times for refills and togo boxes but never got them. The food was actually very good. However one person at my tables pasta got messed up but it would take an hour to make another pasta. But they took it off her bill. I would recommend ordering carry out from this place. Dining here was good! Plenty of seats, small outdoors area and looks like there is a party room as well. Service was friendly. Pizza was pretty good too! It has a light chewy thin crust with cornmeal on the bottom. Fresh ingredients and nice cheese. The negatives for me were: the cook is in plain sight and did not make our appetizer when it was ordered but waited until we ordered our pizza too. That was annoying as we ordered the appetizer when we ordered our drinks, and then ordered the pizza 10 minutes later! I want to stress that we were the 2nd table in the restaurant and the only ones sitting in the dining room! The others were sitting at the bar. So they were not busy. The other negative was the sauce. Everything was so perfect on the pizza but the sauce was boring. I had to add salt and pepper to give it pizzazz. But overall it was good. Unfortunately I am not in a hurry to return to this establishment as there are plenty of other pizza places in the QC with this same style of pizza that can do it better in my opinion. I would tell people to give this one a try on their journey to taste Quad City Scissor Strip Pizza though! It is probably some people's favorite place. read more

It does not surprise me that of all the places in the Quad Cities that compare to Bad Boyz is poor boys in Rock Island. The pizza is good though I found the toppings to be lacking and the menu was small, though as presumed there is a level of quality that is consistent as seen in the sandwiches like Italian beef and calzone. I was not impressed by the cleanliness of the table though otherwise I have no complaints. read more

This is my favorite pizza place in the Quad Cities. I've never been disappointed with my meal. My favorites are the Bad Boyz Bread and the Cheeseburger pizza. The lunch buffet is a great quality for a low price. Over the years the pizza cooks have come and gone and every now and then you get one that doesn't keep up with the lunch rush, but over all, you really can't beat it for $6. The lunch buffet also includes soup, salad bar, pasta, and a taco bar. And if you get a good cook, he'll throw out a dessert pizza which is fabulous! read more

Of all the Harris Style pizza places in the Quad Cities this one is the best. The man who makes the dough and grinds the meat and cheese is so nice to us. Why would he thank us for coming in and spend any time talking to us? I have even seen him deliver the pizzas. This person shows that they really care about their customers.. Pizza which is what they are at least known for given the namesake was pretty good, although I am by no means an expert on "quad cities" style pizza it wasn't bad at all. Beer was cold and the prices were reasonable. Atmosphere was fine as well. DO NOT GET THE WINGS. Stick to the pizza. The wings we were brought were baked and NOT fried. As is often the case with wings baked at home, the skin was stretchy, there's little crisp and there wasn't much to say about the breading and sauce. They more closely resembled a bone in chicken nugget reheated from your least favorite fast food joint. I'll stand by my 3 stars as the pizza was decent enough and the place wasn't "Kitchen Nightmares" or "Bar Rescue" dirty like. read more

Had a couple calzones, they are really for two or get ready to bring home some leftovers. The original Italian was tasty. A lot of meat and cheese. It was cooked really well. Just enough for a tasty crunch and good temp on the inside. The sauce on the side (free) is great. Also had the veggie calazone which was def worth it. Overall decent atmosphere and tasty food. Had seen many delicious pizzas served while at Rebellion next door, so we decided to order a medium half garden and half sausage. When our pizza was delivered it was almost burned and definitely over cooked. Why would a kitchen and server deliver a dried up topping with dark brown cheese. Definitely not what we expected. So different than the pizzas we had seen with beautiful crispy light brown crust and juicy melted mozzarella cheese. Beware consumer. We had never tried this place and will not try again. read more

Close to the bars, iWireless center, etc. There is also a small patio for the summer months. The only complaint is that this place had been crazy hot on several occasions. Service was horrible. The sauce was so hot it made our noise run and gave us a stomachache! Pasta was so spicy I couldn't eat it! No warning either about the sauce being extremely spicy. This place is hit or miss. Depends on the staff. If they notice you right away and smile, it's the good staff so settle in and enjoy your meal. If it's the staff that pretends not to see you, busy taking breaks and either doesn't smile or gives you a terribly fake smile head down the road to somewhere better. Disclaimer----If you need to catch a game they'll have it as long as you can deal sitting with a bunch of fans that don't have the slightest clue about sports or are too drunk to talk it's worth a shot. Bad Boy'z has been a favorite of mine for years. The atmosphere is friendly. The owner will even sit and talk with you one on one. The food is outstanding. I really like their lunch buffet, awesome price for all the food you get! What I really appreciate is that I can come to Bad Boyz for a night out with friends or meet up for a conversation about work. Service is fast and the staff is always smiling. This is a gem in downtown Moline as far as I'm considered. read more

Utterly disgusting Italian calzone, sent back after two bites. The sausage smelled like it was disease-ridden and I'd be surprised if I don't end up puking the two bites I had. We were staying at Stoney Creek and decided to order pizza and pasta. We were told 45 minutes, it took well over an hour, we were given the wrong receipt, no garlic bread with the pasta, the cheese had completely slid off the cheese pizza, and our other pizza was completely undercooked (slimy and undercooked in the middle). Had to get in our car and take the pizza to the store for remake. Remake was still underdone in the middle. It is like the crust to topping ratio is off and the middle crust is inedible. Will not order from them ever again. Other options in the area. read more

This restaurant/sports bar has great pizza, a great selection of cold beer, lots of TVs, a super bar and server staff and great clientele. It also has a great location close to the I Wireless Center. My husband and I ate there on a Wednesday evening, had wings and pizza. The food was okay and the service was alright. There were only three other tables of two customers; it took 25 minutes to get our wings and 40 minutes for the pizza, not acceptable because they were not busy. The restrooms are not as clean as they should be for an establishment that serves food. I noticed the thick accumulation of dust on the baseboards, in corners and on the top and hinges of the stalls. We can not put Bad Boyz at the top of our list of options for dining out! read more

Checked out the new Bad Boys on Utica Ridge Thursday 4/4 after multiple recommendations. Nice decor, lots o tvs....upon arrival the place was maybe half full, with 2-3 servers that were managing not only the floor but the bar as well, there appeared to be 2 cooks in the kitchen, one guy standing near the kitchen on his phone (maybe busser), and 1 guy walking around in an orange shirt who I"m assuming was an owner. The girls waitressing/bartending were all very nice, however there was too much going on for just the 3 of them to handle. We ordered 2 calzones and waited approx 45 min for them to finally come out. After we were finished eating we waited a good 15 min before we could get our check to pay. I have worked in a restaurant for 5+ years and the owner has always helped out when it gets busy with running food or drinks or whatever need be. The guy in the orange shirt just sat around socializing and drinking. Now if he wasn't the owner, he had something to do with the business and probably should have helped those girls out rather than chatting/drinking. I know that calzones take typically a good 25 min to make, but 45 min was a ridiculous amount of time to wait. After we finally got our food, I watched a table of 2 guys order 2 calzones themselves and they had their food in approx 20 min and their calzones looked more cooked with a nice golden brown top than ours did. Now, I understand this place is fairly new and needs to work out kinks. So, I will try again in the future and hope for a better experience next time. For the second day in a row, I've tried calling both Davenport, IA and Moline, IL locations in order to check prices for a large birthday party order and the Moline phone line is out of order and no one answers the Davenport phone line. I've eaten at the Moline location in the past and they are understaffed and the wait for food/drinks/service is unacceptable! This is a common complaint among many. The owner is friendly and spends his time chatting with patrons instead of helping out his workers!!! Looks like the birthday group will be eating at another pizza joint in the QC! read more
