First of all the staff is so sweet and friendly. They were super busy and handled it with the most calm, graceful energy! I ordered the matcha coconut cloud and holy cow! The earthiness of the Matcha comes through and isn't buried by the sweetness of the coconut water or the fresh little pieces of young coconut. It really was the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess. I am determined to make my way back there as soon as possible to try more of their menu!

It's wonderful to support a local neighborhood business. Today we stopped by and had her family wait on us. The barista is genuinely so nice and talented. She guided me to one of her favorites: a delicious brown sugar caramel iced latte that was so good my husband stole it... after he finished his iced coffee. No pictures because it's gone. Pro-tip for remote/WFH people: this coffeeshop has 2 private booths that seem like they have soundproofing. If you need a place to work on the way to DIA or just in the Montbello neighborhood; this is a better option to work from & hop on a quick private call.

They were terrific, we were parched after the M Mart event, and the tea shop was just a mile further south, so we stopped there before heading home. The shop is in a strip shopping center. There is an overhead sign, but the lettering on the windows is extremely hard to see--at least with the setting sun hitting them. We finally found the shop and shared a Yuzu shaken tea. A friendly staffer quickly prepared the drink for us. It was just as delicious as the sample we tried earlier at M Mart. The chance to sit quietly while enjoying a delicious drink definitely rejuvenated us from the bustle of the M Mart event. This is a neat shop with a curated selection of interesting drinks plus a couple of snacks. We'll definitely return when we're back in the area.

Following this I ordered the lavender Vanilla Matcha. It is similar to a matcha latte with a slightly salted lavender creme at the top and vanilla syrup. This doesn't appear to be on the standard menu overhead but im unsure if its a limited offer. As a lavender fanatic I think its pretty good. The matcha flavor could maybe be stronger?
