Overall, it was an excellent event and Douglas clearly knows what he is talking about from his 40+ years of experience! The inside of the building has items from various garden related vendors (except for one - I will get to that one in a minute): fairy garden items, bird houses, yard decorations, etc. They also have food items from several Amish bakeries and oh my, the hand pies are excellent! Thankfully for my waistline I only had a bite of my husband's apple hand pie after we left or I would have gone back in and one of every flavor. Where Salem Gardens stands out is their dedication to plants that are unique. Yes, you will find marigolds (standard for all gardens for pest control) but they have an amazing assortment of other plants that are truly different. If you are trying to perfect your gardening and need the best quality dirt, this is your spot. If you want the best Amish treats, freshly delivered every Friday, you have to stop by. They have the best popcorn, breads, and cookies. The owners, a 40+ year landscaper and his wife, put decades of knowing and care into this shop. They built it by hand, and crafted it to be an incredible community space. They host fun community events like glass cutting and fairy basket making classes. The prices are incredibly reasonable. This is about a 45 minute drive from me but I know I'll be back!!! A well worth visit

After all they worked on it 3 times. Returned to me still SCREECHY and uneven cutting. So through ear muffs and ear protectors I plow and cut the grass (going over it 2 -3 times because it remains an uneven cut). Nice people but the finished product is an F. Either they can not hear, they did not check it the last 2 times or they do not listen to women. I used to love caring for the yard and all the neighbors driveways BUT NOW I HATE IT and we tolerate the noise pollution. Guess you can tell I just came in from cutting our 1.25 acres and what used to be pleasure is now pure stress

omg what an awful company to do business with. a new john…read moredeere tractor with less then 4 hour on it had a belt that fell off 7 times then finally broke . thinking it was a brand new tractor with the extended warranty that I purchased I figured let them look at it because something is obviously something is wrong. Bader and Son wants 206.10 for the mower belt with less then 4 hour . I argued with managers over and over again but they do not care . if you expect them to honor a manufacture warranty or an extended warranty GOOD LUCK .

Three Cedars…read morerecently regraded my backyard, and was to finish with "PREMIUM QUALITY / GOLF COURSE QUALITY" topsoil. The topsoil is nothing more than fill dirt! We have found broken glass, plastic, tile, large stones, pieces of aluminum, and even a spent shotgun shell in this topsoil! According to the owner (Ryan Thomason), all the topsoil was screened thru a 1/8" screen. Not a chance this happened! The ruts in the front yard from their heavy equipment were also filled with this same fill dirt. My front yard resembles a road crossing front to back! Three Cedars/Ryan Thomason has NOT responded to emails, phone calls, nor returned to see the mess, let alone fix it. They DO NOT stand behind their work! ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS CONTRACTOR!

Work is not great with holes in the sod laid, sprinklers installed on the neighbors property, and several dead trees planted which he said at the time he would replace if they didn't live.
