We wandered around for about 30 minutes prior to the game trying to find a ticket booth that was open. Once we found our way inside, the space was clean and easy to navigate with many friendly staff. Likely due to the holidays and many student workers being out of town, the usual experience was greatly pared down with no band, dance team, halftime show, etc. We still had an amazing time! The music consisted of all of my 90's/early 00's jams and lots of fan interaction with the MC and Smokey the mascot. There are suites available and the seats in the "normal humans" sections are padded and comfy, all with pretty decent views. There are areas to purchase UT gear and an abundance of concessions to be nom'd (Papa John's, Petro's, snocones, pretzels, etc. You can use credit cards and prices seem pretty typical. They event have $1 large popcorn which was great, but a bottle of water was $4. ha! Don't forget to bring approved, clear bags when you go to the arena (or any of the large university venues/events).

I'm a huge baseball fan, but as a true fan, I had my concerns on this one. So maybe this doesn't work for the baseball purist, but for the casual fan, for the kids, this is most akin to the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball. There's a lot of slapstick humor stuff, but there are no dull moments and there is something going on every moment you are in attendance. Quite honestly, as a former player, some of the tricks even leave me scratching my head. It's action packed entertainment from beginning to end, and there's even a little baseball played as well. It is certainly worth at least a look, even for the purist.

You can also bring your lawn chairs too for comfortable seating. They do have concessions stands with very reasonable prices. A hot dog and coke was $4. However, I saw some items as low as a dollar. I would say every seat in here is a good seat with a great view of the race track. I sat down in the lower stands and could see the whole race track. They have late model racing of course. The winner for tonight's race was Ross White. One unusual race car I saw here was the Classic race car. I have never seen the cars race. They put on a good show. I have to say it was an entertaining night for me.

The set up, the acoustics, the ability to perform in a unique way. The theatre itself is in-the-round, which I'd only seen at a concert. It was great! The performers were coming in and out of performing up and down the aisles. It added an extra element of surprise, not knowing if they'd enter right by you, or you could see them entering across the theatre, before others knew it. The in-the-round also provided an interesting take on the acoustics. The sound was not just coming directly at you the entire time, but it was able to ebb and flow. Made me wonder if some theatre directors plan for that, and coach their actors to utilize that option. Looking at the line up of shows, there's a wide variety of performances. From contemporary, historic, and local shows, the space appeals to any and all!

Knox County Sportspark is the cleanest park and outdoor fun area on the planet…read more I love going to the park with my two son's each week. Because I have pet allergies, I can't go to every park that has dogs and pets. There is only one park on this planet, where I can go without having to take allergy shots and an overdose of allergy medication. I love walking the amazing clean and safe walking track and trail. Northwest Sports Complex is like a golf course without the golf with a playground and pavilion area. This is the most beautiful and pet free park in the world, and I love this place!

I wouldn't be surprised if they did because that was the most people I have ever seen at a collegiate soccer game. There were programs, signed pics of Smokey, orange and white Pom poms, t-shirts for first 500 in line, pic opportunities with Smokey 10, bounce house, concession stands, food trucks (Goodwins). Overall, lively atmosphere and a lot to see and do. Parking and accessing stands was easy and cost to attend was free! Can't get much better than that. We sat in the second row up (you have super obstructed views of the field in 1st row) due to small kids who don't do stairs well. I would recommend 4th row and up if you can with so many people walking and stopping in front of you. Very family-friendly, with the exception of no mask mandate for kids in the crowded bounce houses. Can't wait to come back!

We have been to the park twice; one great visit and one not so much. The first time we went we…read morebrought a relative visiting from CT, met family there, and had fun. The park is beautiful, workers were very nice, there is a playground for kids, and the team won. The second visit was a hot, sweaty, expensive waste of time. Again family was visiting from KS and a game sounded like fun. Driving to the game it rained but stopped by the time we got there. We met local family and entered the park finding out there was a rain delay. No problem. We took the 4 children under 6 to the playground where they had fun. We got some food and waited since they were unhooking the tarp. We then realized they were only half heartedly moving the water off the tarp and asked if the game would in fact be cancelled. The reply we got inferred that it would more than likely be cancelled. Since there were no announcements indicating when or if the game would take place, we decided it would be too difficult to keep waiting and at this point (2.5 hours after the originally planned start time) we left. The woman at the gate told my husband we could use the tickets for a future game or games since we paid. We later found out the game began an hour after we left which was still too late for us to have kept 4 children entertained and happy, but now we were also out the cost of 8 tickets (the 2 2year olds were free). Thinking twice about attending another game. At least the ice cream at Cruze was good.

We always have a good time at Smokies games. A few things have changed since we came last year…read more First of all, they are now a cashless stadium, even for parking. Secondly, they have gotten rid of the free playground in the kids area (over by section 101). It is now a $6 band for each child to use several bounce houses until they close prior to 8th inning. Our kids loved this, but I wish we had known that we should have them wear socks. They have to leave shoes over by the sidewalk and navigate barefoot on the hot ground and rubber mulch. Their feet were pretty gnarly after the game. A plus, they now let parents bring booze over to the kid area. It was a blessing. ha! We also erroneously thought our (3rd row from top-section 107) seats would be shaded for a 7 pm game. Nope. First 3 innings were in brutal sun. I recommend sections 110 and up if you want shade for evening games. Still lots of areas in the concourse to grab shade, if needed. The food and drink costs are pretty standard. The best deals are definitely the hot dogs and nacho chips/cheese. I would avoid the dry pulled pork and the watery frozen booze slushies next time. The soft serve in a souvenir cap is over by the kids area and totally worth it. We had a great time, capped off with fireworks!
