I loved that they had a very accessible restroom for those with kids. One of the stalls in the women's restroom had a changing table and a kid's potty seat! (Hopefully the same is available on the men's side.) My only recommendation for them would be to offer a step ladder for kids to reach the sinks and paper towels as an option for hand drying. Plenty of free parking, too!

The decorations are bland as the inside 18 holes is basically just a warehouse with painted fish hanging from the ceiling. The outside/upstairs 18 holes is slightly better with decorations, but the sound effects are on a 30 second loop. Hearing the same recording over and over again while playing gets old fast. Not on par with something like a Pirates Cove mini golf. In my opinion, there are better ones in the area.

There's also a candy store inside, and soft serve, and lots of sweets. It's a candy-lover's dream in here. It's like being in Candy Land, with golf clubs. So, there are two 18-hole golf courses here: one indoor, one outdoor. You can play one or the other, or both for slightly more. I personally liked the outdoor course the best because I like fresh air, but the indoor one is fun too, with dim lighting and fun music playing. I visited during the fall, and I especially loved all of the seasonal touches. Pumpkins, mums, hay bales, a vintage tractor, and other autumn decorations made the entire area feel festive and gave me plenty of fun photo opportunities. Of course, the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel is the landmark you can't miss. Riding it gives you a completely different perspective of Pigeon Forge and the surrounding area, and the enclosed gondolas make for a comfortable ride. My biggest hesitation is the price. Since you pay per person, taking an entire family up in one gondola can become expensive pretty quickly. Overall, The Island is a fun stop whether you want to ride attractions, grab something to eat, shop, people-watch, or simply walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. Even if you don't ride the wheel, it makes a pretty spectacular backdrop! Four stars from me--fun, photogenic, and definitely worth exploring, but some of the attractions can make a family visit pricey.

It was $19.99 per adult. They offer senior and military discounts. It was busy, but we had no issues with having to wait a bit for the group of 5 ahead of us. The group behind us was a bit slow and we had time to play a hole again. The holes are par 2s & 3s. Don't be fooled by one that looks easy, those are the ones that will make you go over par! The props at each hole and Scooby gang commentary was great. No photos of the actual holes. You have to go play the course yourself!! Bring out your inner Scooby-Doo loving child.
