this is by far the most nasty ass hotel, bloody blankets, dog pee, blankets dirt all over the floor called Web spiders everywhere the floor is so dirty. You can see. I wiped the towel so you could see how dirty the floors are molded in the shower I would not recommend this to anyone.

    The name of this dump

The owner is an awful person. We checked in and almost immediately found the door deadbolt did not work. There are no privacy locks on the rooms here so beware. We asked the front desk to address this and they called Bob. Bob is the owner and quite a horrible person. He immediately began to show us how to use a door lock like we were idiots. When he finished his lesson, as he would not allow me to show him the actual issue, I showed him the deadbolt would not engage the strike plate on the door and thus, could not be locked. He told me that he couldn't fix it until the next day but would give us a ten dollar coupon at the restaurant across the street as compensation. My wife and I told him that was unacceptable as we had our children with us, including our special needs child. He did not care and told us we could either accept a room that could not be locked in any way or leave. We are in the middle of nowhere and had already paid for this room. We asked if we could be moved. He told us some band had booked all the other rooms and there where none available. He then said we could accept this or he would call the police. My children where now quite frightened by this man and where hiding int he bathroom. Our special needs son was sitting on the bed in his veiw and he could not care less about kicking us out. We argued with him a bit before we gabe in and packed up. He refused to refund our money saying he shouldn't have to put up with people like us as a war vet. This was particularly disgusting as my family is full of war vets who would never treat anyone like this. Absolutely disgusting how this guy acted. There are tons of similar reviews with similar stories about this guy, Bob, and his hotel or Inn or whatever he is trying to pass it off as. He should be put out of business on account of all the people he's ripped off. He refused to refund our money even though we weren't there for more than ten m minutes and he refused to be accommodating. Avoid this place at all costs. This guy's deserves to be in the gutter. What an absolute disgrace of a human.

Their online pics do not accurately represent the condition of their rooms; their rooms are extremely outdated.

    Do you accept pets?

Hello Kim- we allow pets in our pet friendly rooms. They aren’t in third party sites because we only have two and you have to have at least three to be on a third party site. You can go direct to our own site and book! Thank you. Jan

This is the old Pepperwood Motel, and it's just a simple old roadside motel. It's obviously been around for a long time, but they have done renovations. I liked the place. I was in room 105, just across from the office. The room was basic. It was a bit stuffy when I first came in, but the air conditioner made it comfortable almost immediately. Everything was very clean, including the bathroom and the shower. The TV was a Roku TV, that also got Dish Network. So there was plenty of things to watch. The TV had a nice picture. The Wi-Fi was fast enough to stream video most of the time, although just a couple of times, I did get a tiny bit of buffering. Overall, not bad. . (I don't know if the Wi-Fi signal changes if you get further away from the office. ) The bed was a little bit firm for my personal taste, but everybody's different. I still got a good night's sleep. There was a desk that you could either work or eat at, there were plenty of plugs to charge my gear. And there was a both a fridge and a microwave in the room. There were some scuffs on the furniture, and a little chip in a corner of the shower, but hey, that's just cosmetic. There were a few small things. As I said, this is a basic motel room, and there is not a closet, or a place where you can hang your clothes. The shower had plenty of pressure, and plenty of hot water. It takes a few seconds for the hot water to come on. Also, the shower has neither a bathmat or a grab bar, so you do have to be careful while you are taking your shower Also When I got there, the batteries in the remote were low, and the bed only had two pillows, and they were kind of flat. I went to the office, and I got new batteries for the remote, and I also got an extra pillow. The people that run the motel were very nice. Overall, this was a good stay. I would stay here again. Thank you

Whohoo! As good as it gets, indeed…read more Older Inn, but clean inside. Nice towels and bedding. Strong Internet. Direct TV. Microwave and fridge inside. Coffee maker. Nice hot shower. Well-lighted. The General Managers are nice. Great room for the inexpensive price. Now this goes out for those who might be a bit selective when it comes to their room stay: No, it is NOT the Hyatt. But if you want a safe, clean, affordable room where you can rest for the night, this is the place to stay. If you wish to see a room before you stay, ask.. Use some common sense. I travel all the time, so I try my best to be prepared for darn near any situation. I carry my own towels, air freshener, soap, shampoo/conditioner, Lysol, etc. Just in case. I know my comforts, and I prepare for MY COMFORTS. But I did not need any of that for this Inn. Would definitely stay here again.

It looked like a nice motel... On the outside. I never saw the inside…read more I pulled up to the motel, and there was absolutely nobody in the parking lot. That should've been the first clue. . I went to the office, which was closed, and I rang the bell to the office... five times....... Nobody ever came to the door. I tried to call them, and all I got was a voicemail. I called Hotels.com, who I made the reservation through, they tried to reach the people running this place, and they couldn't get through. I hadn't been charged yet, they said they will try to call them to make sure I'm not charged. If I am, though, I'm gonna have to dispute it with my credit card. in the meantime, I went to another place I've stayed at before, just down the road, at $15 a night higher than I was gonna pay here. I should've just gone right there in the first place, instead of just trying to catch a bargain. 15 bucks ain't much, but it's the principle of the thing. I asked Hotels.com if they could do something about the price difference, of course not. Thanks anyway...
