Hello, my wife and I recently needed to stay over night in Willits due to a hospitalized family member, so we booked at the last minute. I can't speak for any other rooms, but 307 was perfect. Since it was hot there were children playing in the pool until later in the evening, but while in the room we couldn't hear anything from outside. Everything was clean and well air conditioned, which helped since we are not used to the 100+ temps. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and a pleasure to speak with. After we returned home (hundreds of miles away), we discovered that my wife had forgotten a pair of prescription glasses in the room, which she needed for work. I called the same person we spoke with before and he could not have been more helpful. He checked and found that the glasses had been found and were in their office. He walked us through the process of sending a prepaid FedEx box to them to send them back, which we did and he was kind enough to make sure happened as soon as possible even though it was around the 4th of July holiday weekend. If we need to stay in Willits again, we will definitely be returning to this hotel. Thank you to Patel for being amazing! read more

This location is okay. The lobby is still closed to pandemic? seemed odd but okay. The check in, through the night window, its not my choice but okay. Took longer, not as personable but it got done. Felt like an inconvience to check in. Left the key in the room didnt bother on the way out. The room, okay. Minimalist, clean, served its purpose again okay. The shower was okay. No breakfast options at all, okay, its something BWs are known for, its one of the perks - okay? The one real negative was the door handle, it worked but was loose, took more than one attempt to open it and had to push to make sure it latched after entry. Expensive as hell but worth every penny. Customer service was great. Our room had AMAZING black out curtains, mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot. There was a separate office space with a spare bed if we needed it. The shower was clean, the water pressure was perfect. The air conditioner worked wonderfully. The motel room was very clean. They have a breakfast nook in the office with many options. Waffles, boiled eggs, crust-less sandwiches, danishes, a variety of bread, English muffins etc, yogurt and other things. I would absolutely recommend staying here. read more

This is the filthiest hotel that I have ever stayed at! The furniture was covered in dirt, the carpet was so dirty that our feet were black, the shower leaked, blow dryer didn't work, AC wasn't on during a heatwave, and the lights don't stay on long enough to brush your teeth! read more

Quiet, clean, comfortable room with comfortable bed and linens. Heater worked fine and enjoyed a good nights sleep. Nice breakfast selection in am and good fresh brewed coffee. Friendly professional staff, cheerful greeting upon arrival. Nice to have working refrigerator with small freezer and microwave in room. Good water pressure and adjustable shower head. Reasonable rate but may be winter rate? Good location, the driveway goes up a slight hill, with safe off street parking area, just south of "town" shops and restaurants on Main Street so close to everything but off the highway and no traffic or people noise. read more

Came in late 11:30 pm. Lobby still not open due to covid. Beds clean and made. Walls have patches from damage. Carpets dark and old. Worst he saw me drive in tired and sore put me on second floor. There was no hot water. Water was too cold both that night and next morning. Charges premium price for a motel, no hotel behavior or amenities. No bags in trash cans. Beds overly firm and mattress older and hard. Worst overnight of the year. read more

Wow! So, I didn't know it was possible to have water literally just fall out of the shower head like that. I understand the drought thing but this is next level conservation. Don't plan on watching TV. The quality of the TVS suck and the best was the tv had a line right done the middle and made half the tv tinted. But my favorite was the light above the vanity. They have the wrong lightbulb in there so it just flickers when it's on and is worse when you use the microwave. Not a big fan of t person running that place either. Reminds me of Mr. Slate from the Flintstones! Pay more some where else. It will be worth it I swear! read more

Great price and excellent room. Breakfast had plenty of variety inc hot waffles. The bypass has eliminated the traffic noise. I have back problems and found the beds to be as good or better than any others we slept on during the trip. The room has all the amenities you would expect and they are modern and in good repair. Parking is a little tight but there are plenty of spaces and they are large enough for bigger vehicles. The customer services if not overtly friendly is professional. We would stay here again, easily. The bypass has pretty much gutted the hotel system here. We didn't see anywhere else that we would have considered staying. The hotel where we actually made reservations was so awful we bailed and we're lucky to get a room at the BW. read more

Customer service here sucks. I had cancelled my reservation here through hotwire.com. I still got charged. I called to tell them I cancelled it and the lady I was talking to lectured me and told me not to contact them and to contact Hotwire instead. She spoke to me like she was talking to a 2 year old. So, Hotwire called them and they REFUSED to give me my refund. Unreal. So since they wont refund, Hotwire essentially also said they cant help me and to call these guys because they have my money. Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. The hotel is close to several restaurants as well as stores for basically all your needs. The bed was a little hard for me, but I still slept well. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated, but is a continental breakfast with no meat and only cold boiled eggs. Would have liked to see more food options. read more

My family came to Willits to tour Ridgewood Ranch (Seabiscuit's ranch). We had made reservations two months in advance in another hotel... but when we arrive we were very disappointed, dark rooms that smelled like cleaning fluid. Best Western had two rooms available, so we canceled the other place and went to Best Western. We lucked out! The king room was spacious like a suite, and the rooms had views of the mountain ridge. DISGUSTING TREATMENT OF PREGNANT WOMAN: My partner, 7 months pregnant, was denied a room in the middle of a rainy winter night. She had lost her credit card so I tried to book the room online for her in this emergency. They only accept cards in person; I appreciate the security but they sent her away in the pouring rain at midnight. Terrible. I stayed there one other time this winter. The room was FREEZING and the heater didn't work. The man was a real jerk and said it wasn't that cold - turns out that the window behind the curtain was wide open on a 20 degree night. And he totally blew us off. Terrible. It's too bad. The woman who works there is very friendly and helpful. The guy is an absolute jerk. I see other reviews have mentioned how he is unaccommodating and unapologetic about his poor service. read more

I'll give 3 stars because we booked the king "suite" so the room was decently spacious. However, it is extremely outdated, so be aware of this. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were not soft. Lots of stains on furniture, etc. it was about 100 degrees in the room and we had to instantly open windows and turn on the air. 3 stars for the space and morning bite size muffins. Stayed here July 2 on our way to the Redwoods/Oregon Coast. We checked in late an the owner was friendly. They have a simple continental breakfast with a waffle maker and waffle batter dispenser. Never seen that before. Anyway, I like the fact that they had hard boiled eggs so we could get some protein. The room was clean and comfortable. AC was not to loud and you don't really hear any road noise even though your next to 101. If your in Willits and need a place to crash, this is it! read more

My family was desperately looking for a place to stay as we visited my grandmother who needed emergency surgery in the hospital in Willits. We are so grateful to Nina for helping us get last minute accommodations, even arranging an early check in, so that my mom (who had just spent the night in the ICU) could take a shower and get some rest. The hotel room was PRISTINE and quiet; the continental breakfast spread was balanced and solid. This was a decent hotel. The breakfast buffet was kinda small and there wasn't too much. It was run by these two very nice Indian people who were very kind. Mechanical breakdown forced me to overnight in Willits. It was either that, or camping in the mud, half way to Lost Coast. Tough choice. We spent two nights at this hotel. The first night was great the gentleman who was working priced us at $150 the room was clean and nice. The second night we booked a room that was now $180 and the manager didn't explain why the price was different. The toilet in the room was clogged the floor had water damage and the light in the hall flickered on and off all night. There was no room offered or discount provided. As If that wasn't bad enough. We went to breakfast across street and came back at 9:30am to find that our stuff had been taken out of the rooms and placed in the office before check out at 10am. Very nice place but normally out of our price range at around $120 a night. We stayed because we got stuck in town during a snowstorm and the lower priced place we tried to stay at was full. Rooms were warm and clean with just about every amenity I can think of. Breakfast room was fine but I've read elsewhere it closes at 9am and that even if you're in there eating they close it anyway at 9. We didn't experience that but would believe it as the staff seemed to be all business. No small talk or joking around from them. Then again, I wasn't there for small talk. If it wasn't out of our price range, I'd be happy to stay there again. read more

We were super happy with our stay at Best Western - Willits Inn! We were on our way to the Redwoods and tired after driving all day, so we decided to stop here for the night. The rooms were only $90, which we considered very fair since we we got a nice, clean room and a free continental breakfast. Breakfast included fresh waffles, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, bagels, juice, coffee, etc. The staff was very nice and helpful. I'm not sure what the previous complaints are about? When my husband and I went for breakfast, we were greeted by name and when there was an issue with the waffle maker continuing to beep, they ran right out to address it and apologized for the noise. They were very personable as well - we chatted about several things ranging from living in a small town to dealing with the traffic from Fleet Week in San Fran (where we had come from). The hotel is on US101 so traffic does pass by, but I guess when you're tired from traveling all day, a few vehicles aren't going to bother you! I went to sleep and never woke until my alarm went off :) I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends and family! read more

We had stopped by to peek at the hotel last time we were in Willits. Baechtel Inn is absolutely lovely but if we had to stay a week, it gets a bit pricey. Best Western appears to be a good solid choice, and a third less at $89 before tax, licence and drive out fees. Good points: Room is a good size, frig, micro, hair dryer, standard super amenities, furnishings are nice, very clean room, looks very sharp, modern light switches, wide bathroom counter in the room (I am liking this more and more as I can be fussing while David is showering) The room is on the same level as the parking and I believe there is a hot tub across the parking lot. The staff/owners are extremely polite and helpful. Bad points: There are not two end tables for each of the beds, and only an upside down garbage can would fit between the wall and the bed. This bothers me more than it bothers David, thank goodness the problem was on his side. Two people who read need their own table and light. The bathroom door sticks out into the hallway, a tad awkward. Remember, I am picky. Getting in and out of the hotel can be a challenge. The driveway is steep, I could not walk it if I needed to, and turning left onto Highway 101 can be a problem at times. read more

My coworker and I came in at 2:00AM due to a canceled flight to Arcata and this location was on our drive up. The staff was very helpful and friendly even at 2:00AM and set us up with a room. The rooms were as expected and clean. Definitely will stay here again if I am in the area. read more

I've stayed here at least 20 times and I always ask for a quite, upstairs room because it is so close to the road. They often don't read my notes and put me downstairs and next to the ice machine. The lady that runs the morning shift is incredibly kind and helpful. The man that runs the night shift is not kind and comes across very short. Overall a decent place with the small selection in Ukiah, but has its ups and downs. read more

This is a small community with a small town feel and the management extends that feeling to the Best Western guests. Stayed there July 7th. I did not expect much and thus, was not disappointed. The owners were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok - the waffles were a pleasant plus during our stay. Clean rooms. Decent bathroom. It is true that the decor is outdated - but we did not pick the hotel based on the decor. WiFi worked flawlessly. Convenient access to 101 (It's right along side it). AC worked well and thermostat controls worked - so we could fine-tune the temp. We still had to block the AC with a chair because it blew too strongly even at low cool. Roadside noise was an issue - to the extent we could detect whether or not it was a SEMI that was driving by. But it was not so obtrusive as to wake us up during the night. read more

The review starts before arrival. The desk clerk was rude and would not provide a confirmation number. On arrival she also proved to be rude in person. The "jacuzzi " tub in our room only fit one person and was dangerous being very slippery and with no anti skid material or grab bars. I seriously doubt it meets code. The basic room was okay. For breakfast the seating area was totally inadequate and the offering must be the bare minimum allowed by Best Western if no less.
