Dan is a creative, caring, and communicative business owner. His team, led by Seth, was an absolute pleasure to work with - they did a truly fantastic job and were so nice and helpful throughout. After they were done, we had a small issue with drainage (because right after they laid down the patio, there were torrential downpours for days, not allowing our pavers to settle). I'm not kidding when I say within five minutes of emailing Dan on a Friday evening to let him know, he called us to say he and Seth were coming over right away to take a look. Because of continued bad weather, they had to come back a few times over the next few weeks to make sure everything was good. Yes, they made our patio a little slice of heaven, but we were actually the most impressed with their post-project attentiveness and customer-focused desire to make everything right. Would grade as follows: Stonework - A Price - D+ Timeliness - F- Creativity - D Landscaping Preparation - F- Had to pay extra for items that really should have been included in the base bid, and never received some of them. Job was a year late and we were filling the new pool in late November (which you have to keep running for 30 days so it will cure) because they never devoted more than two or three people to, what for us, is a major project. Had to pay extra to have sod and topsoil installed and when it all died, had someone else come in to look at who told us was basically laid on soil compacted as hard as cement and without topsoil (paid for but apparently never delivered) there was no chance it could survive. We'll be dealing with that for years. Your money can be better spent elsewhere.
