Sooooo good! My husband stopped by when they were SUPER busy and felt a bit overwhelmed since they move fast. We went again for lunch the other day and it was much slower so I could take my time to look at the menu. We paid $12 or so for a bagel sandwich but I will say they were HUGE and came with a pickle. I really like this bagel shop! Their bagels are freshly made, taste great, and come with delicious cream cheese options. They have a special where you can get a bagel with cream cheese and a small coffee for like $5, it's a great value! The coffee can be hit or miss depending on the day, but I don't really mind. They do offer a large selection of other food items for lunch, but I just go for the bagels. The staff are good for the most part, they do get really busy on the weekends so they have to work a bit faster and sometimes make small mistakes. There is some seating, but not a whole lot, many people just take their food to go. I think the fact that this place is jam packed on weekends even though a Panera is just around the corner says a lot about how great Bagel Bin's bagels are! read more

I went back in today after 10 months because I was getting TurboTax at Target next door. I had also heard that Bagel Bin had been sold. For better or worse? The place was clean, the staff seemed friendly, and the bagels were excellent. A few people mentioned they're smaller than in the past, but that must have changed. My bagels were the same size as with previous owner. And my toasted poppy with butter was superb. Better yet, nobody gave me dirty look when I walked in 10 minutes prior to close or when I politely asked for plastic knife (she no longer works there). A little too fast for a 5. Need a few trips. Also, girl that took my order was nice and didn't skim on butter (just the right amount) but did forget napkins. It's probably my fault, though. Maybe I'm supposed to get the napkins? I don't remember seeing napkins, but I'm sure they were there. I figured it out anyway--old water bottle and hand-dry with hands out window while using knee for steering wheel and doing circles around library parking lot. Definitely recommend! Stopped at Bagel Bin to grab a breakfast sandwich and was so glad that I did! This is a good location to grab a great meal, whether that's a sandwich for breakfast, lunch or dinner or other items. Upon entering, there is a signed that says they only allow 10 patrons in at a time. No doubt this is to protect themselves and patrons during the pandemic. However upon entering, you could tell that this is a location "where everybody knows your name." There were numerous individuals in front of me and the staff making the sandwiches knew all of their names. I guess that means that they are regulars! LOL! Really shows the time and effort of the business and the staff. Bagel Bin is located off of Highway 73/Sam Furr Road in Huntersville. It can be found within the same shopping center as Target, Harris Teeter and other establishments. The exact location is closer to the Sam Furr Road side of the shopping center. Parking is not an issue, as there is an adjacent parking lot to the restaurant with plenty of spaces. If you are in the Huntersville area, definitely make sure to hit up bagel bin for a great breakfast sandwich! Can't wait to try some of the other options that are available! read more

This is a small, casual bagel shop with indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter and take your food to a seat. The service was quick and friendly. I was considering going to Panera for a bagel but I'm so glad I stopped here instead. The garlic bagel tasted perfectly crispy and flaky. The jalapeño cream cheese was also better than the one at Panera. The price was around the same: $3.50 for a bagel with cream cheese. I remembered visiting this bagel shops years ago with friends before heading out to Denver and my memory was that the food was good. So when I was in the mood for a bagel recently, I decided to drive a little further to grab a sandwich from here instead of the bagel place closer to my house with negative reviews. Based on the reviews I expected a line and there was one. Due to COVID they are limiting the number of people inside, so there were 4-5 parties waiting outside ahead of me when I showed up around 9:30 on a weekday. The wait was reasonable and the staff was friendly. I got a bagel with bacon, egg and cheese plus a couple of bagels to take home. Bagels were fresh and I enjoyed mine. I noticed a menu of what looked like lunch sandwiches (lunch meat, etc) but I didn't realize you could get those toppings on a bagel until I heard the man in line behind me order the Italian on a bagel. Stopped in for the first time this morning, and the service was great and quick. It was around 10 am, so they were busy but still very efficient. The bagels are great, very fresh and cooked to perfection! There is plenty of seating both inside and outside, even though it's not a large store! I would also like to commend there customer service, while I was in line, they were replacing the soup of the day and by no fault of anyone's a little sloshed out of the metal bin and landed on my hands. I was quickly brought a wet clean towel, and my food was free even after insisting it was not a big deal. All the staff is great! Will be coming back! read more

Well... I JUST walked out, and it was my first time here, and the older woman at the front of the counter was probably one of THE rudest people I encountered. Dark brown hair on top of her head, blue shirt, and a lot of eye liner. I didn't realize it closed at 2pm, I'll take that... and she rolled her eyes and was extremely annoyed I walked in 2 mins before close. She was dismissive and didn't greet me. I could also hear her cussing behind the counter. It was beyond unprofessional. It made me uncomfortable, and as a paying customer I shouldn't feel that way. And please note, I came in with a smile and was kind to her. As someone who owns a business, the way I was treated today she would be GONE today. Why? Because that's my first time there, and I won't be returning. Your employees should represent your business. She helped you lose business because she had to spend an extra 5 mins. Now not only me, but anyone reading this will see it. Listen, we have bad days... as someone who once worked in the service industry, your customers (especially one who is being kind and smiling - me) do not deserve that attitude. Shout out to the young lady behind the counter who apologized on her behalf. That's the saving grace from a one star. She was embarrassed for her. It's like all these places forgot when COVID shut them down and they didn't have a livelihood. I'm appalled this behavior is the face that represents your store. I'm usually a regular at Bagel Bin, visiting a couple times a week, but after today's experience, I'm really disappointed. My group and I stood at the counter for 10 minutes on Saturday, 12/14, without even a "hello." We watched as five employees walked past us without acknowledging our presence. After waiting so long and being completely ignored, we left, and so did three other people. It's a shame that such poor customer service marred what's usually a great spot. The owner should look into who was working that day. read more

Update: I've gone to Bagel Bin consistently for the last 15 years and since new ownership took over, the spot isn't what it used to be. The quality of bagels has diminished and it seems like the new employees are annoyed at people for even coming in. Truly a shame. This used to be, no doubt, the best spot in Huntersville. Please note that this review is mainly about the sandwiches and with that in mind, 5 stars. Can the staff be ornery sometimes, yup. They can also be friendly and chatty. Does it take a while to get said sandwich when the line is long (that means still inside, to the door)? Yeppers. All that said, the sandwiches are very, very good. Quality Boar's Head meats and served on the Bin's bagels and as much as anything it's the latter that's what really makes the sandwich. Those bagels are as good as I've found in Charlotte and certainly beat the heck out of options from Panera, Einstein's, etc. Throw in that the meats are piled high and the veggies are fresh and, voila a 5 star sandwich. My fave... Roast beef, turkey, provolone with lettuce, mayo, S&P on a toasted onion bagel. Go and get one. read more
