First time trying this place out and had an outstanding bagel sandwich. I did turkey, roast beef, and bacon, plus coleslaw and thousand island dressing with swiss cheese on a cheddar bagel. The bagel was fresh, and the sandwich was loaded up with meat and toppings. 5/5 no doubt. I'll be back to try some more stuff for sure.

still bagely after all these years... been coming in off and on since before the plandemic but recently the whole bageling process has changed; used to was he got 'em from a different NY-style bagel place near here but now they are rumored to come refrigerated from up north already boiled and just needing a little time to finish in the oven... and voila! bagel! open about 6:00 so I can enjoy the occasional sausage, egg, and cheese on something round and toasty around 7:00 with Paul before heading off to the lake and surrounding countryside. never a bad word, never a wrong order. could maybe spend a nickel on better coffee and upgrade the seating plan but these booths are paid for and will work good enough if I lose about 15 pounds. and there's still russian dressing on the sandwiches that call for it so they've got that going for them too.

Returning from up north, I really wanted a meatball sub. They have them on the menu here and even though they're a bagel shop, I gave them a try. It turned out pretty good. Toasted sub roll, a few meatballs, some marinara sauce and melted provolone. [Review 18688 overall - 3341 in North Carolina - 2211 of 2022.]

Everything bagel .. soggy and kind of stale. For a Sunday morning would expect fresh bagels but tasted like they were from day before.

From NY and these were not very good bagels. Everything bagel was soggy and kind of stale, salt bagel was hard dry, My hunt for a real good bagel in NC continues..:

    "Double" Bacon Egg & Cheese

If a 0 star was a rating this would be it!!! This is the third week in a row this place has messed up my orders and still charged me for the proper order, unacceptable. I've ordered a double bacon, one egg and cheese on a roll, as well as a toasted bagel with cream cheese. The roll came with 2 singular pieces of bacon and 2 eggs, the bagel was un-toasted and dry! IF YOU ARE FROM OR LIVED IN NEW YORK KEEP LOOKING FOR A BAGEL PLACE!!!

    Everything bagel with cream cheese

Awesome little joint for bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch items! Highly recommend.

Did not seem fresh and did not taste like a Long Island bagel. Lived on Long Island for over 30 years and they are not the same.

Bready bagel was rather poor and toppings didn't make it better. Waste of time, nothing even related to Long Island.

The restaurant had a good number of patrons, with about four tables available. I ordered, and my food came out in less than 10 minutes. I thoroughly enjoyed the eggs, the tea, and the pancake. The bacon was thin and overcooked. I ate it, of course, but I will not order it should I return for breakfast. Service was quick and cordial. When I left around 10:40 am, there were a few people waiting for tables.

Once to food came it was ok...but not worthy of the 4/5 stars that others have offered or the ranking as a great brunch place. She had a special with poached eggs, sausage, and one slice of French toast. Sausage seemed like it might have been fresh from a supermarket frozen package. French toast came super late. My omelet and biscuit were good enough (but not hot enough...did they sit around waiting to be expedited...short servers?). As for the grits. They ran out. How does a breakfast place in NC run out? They finally came after I had finished the omelet. Sigh. THEN the single slice of lukewarm French toast came. After the grits. After she was long finished with her eggs. It WAS delicious though. Perhaps an off day? Happens. Again, servers were delightfully polite. But food was only average, and the kitchen...well...read above...

When our server Layla asked how everything was we shared w her and she showed concern and before we knew it we had a remake of the steak and eggs super hot and even more delicious thanks to Britt. I asked for gluten free bread and when I saw it, it looked too good to be true and I had to confirm it was really gluten free! It tasted delicious (Britt said it comes from Brooklyn!). We will definitely be back as they took the time to check in w us and make sure we were treated right. Also enjoyed the Lego creations all over the place. Loved the worship music playing, the prayer cards in the bathroom, the conversation cards at the table. We will bring the kids w us next time so they can enjoy it too!
