The young ladies at the hostess desk were very kind and personable. It took a while for the bartender to take my order at the lunch hour. He seemed to be a bit overwhelmed. It was very busy and there was a wait for orders and food delivery. We tried a variety of dishes. The oysters were fine perhaps a little too much panko topping. It was hard to find the oyster. The grouper was very good. Their sweet potato fried 5 stars. I had the Birdie cocktail and it was a bit bitter and lacked the sweetness that I was expecting. Solid alcohol content, though, lol. This restaurant is part of the JW Marriott. The vibe in the restaurant is cute and it faces out at the lawn/holes/water. The food was nothing to write home about, I didn't really like what I ordered. They clearly don't staff the restaurant well enough during conferences because it was one guy manning the entire bar. It took 20 minutes to get a drink and they were poorly made. A tucked away brunch spot that never disappoints! I love the option to enjoy the buffet and/or the cook to order menu. The servers are always attentive to their tables and the ambiance always invites you to unwind, relax and enjoy your Sunday with family or friends. The golf views are amazing however I do hope at some point the restaurant will undergo renovations with the re-design focused on enjoying the outdoors more. In my opinion, when the restaurant is at full capacity the space does feel somewhat cramped. Overall though, this brunch spot is an Aventura must dine and enjoy!! It was light and healthy and well seasoned. We sat inside bc it was so humid outside and I didn't want to get bitten by mosquito. I can't remember the names of what I ordered but pictures below. We ate at Corsair Kitchen a couple of years ago, pre Covid, and loved it. Just a couple of facts, it's located in the Marriot Turnberry Isles resort complex. Valet parking or self parking, whichever you prefer. On this day Valet parking was swamped so instead of waiting we chose self parking which is discounted if eating at Corsair. Ok enough of that. At first we ask to sit on the patio but the hostess suggests an inside table by a window because it's very warm outside. After finding a table she noticed a table on the patio in a shaded area. Wonderful because it's overlooking the golf course. Very relaxing. We chose the buffet which is more of a high end type buffet. The "New Normal " is the buffet is enclosed in plexiglass and servers provide whatever you desire. First bagels & Lox with all the extras. Enough for a meal in itself, but I'll have a little more. I go for the scrambled egg whites, with potatoes and sausage. On point. My wife had scrambled eggs with bacon and potatoes. I went back for fruit but they were closing down the buffet to prep for lunch. No problem, a server heads to the back and returned with a bowl of fruit. That's service. Overall, clearly 5 Stars. I came here for Sunday brunch and didn't really know what I was getting into. Once I found the parking garage, the parking attendant let me pay $10 instead of $25 because I was getting food at Corsair. There was no real guidance from the parking garage to Corsair so I had to stop and ask a few people. Needless to say, I was late getting to my reservation. At the hostess desk, they wouldn't even walk me to the table where my guest was. She told me to go look around and come back if I don't find my guest. I found my guest and the waitress came over. My friend and I weren't interested in the buffet and the waitress wasn't too happy about that. The waitress's service was okay, but she could have been more attentive. We had to hunt her down a couple times. The French roast was okay and the mimosas (2) were alright. It was really less than 2 mimosas because she filled my glass again when it was only half way gone. The French toast looked good, but didn't taste as good as it looked. When the check came, I noticed she charged me for the brunch. $52 plus tax and gratuity, for a total of $66. When she came back to get the check I asked her why she didn't just charge me for 2 mimosas and the french toast because it was cheaper. She tried to say it wasn't going to be cheaper, but said she would make the change. She updated my bill and the total was $55, including tax and gratuity. So basically she tried to charge me an extra $11 by initially charging me for brunch. Although the grounds are nice, I probably won't be returning. read more

Than while on Open Table I found this gem. OMG why can we get in must be a trick did someone die here? So menu and photos looked good so we booked a table. The address I couldn't quite place it until we arrived oh it's at the JW Marriott in Turnberry Isle where Bourbon Steak is. Once inside I had to ask but this restaurant is all the way to the back of the property can you say on the golf course. So there was two hostesses at the desk we said outside the first girl said NO. The second said let me see. Than found us the most perfect table in the World away from the other diners tables generously spaced. The table had a thing that was lite on other peoples tables so I fiddled with it until the light came on. We started with a drink myself a glass of Sauvignon Blanc note very generous pour sorry forgot photo and hubby his favorite Hendricks and tonic. We had waters with fresh slices of lemon as well. To start fresh smashed Avocado to share. The chips were seasoned perfectly very fresh. For main course I have the snapper and hubby the Creekstone Prime cut Filet 8 oz. Well other than stealing some of hubby's potatoes I can't speak to his meal that disappeared but mine was perfect. For dessert the Brown Butter Cake with pistachio ice cream was perfect as well. So what did I learn from this experience the best food is at the JW Marriott and tourists are lucky to be staying here as it showcases some of the best restaurants of South Florida. The waiter will get your ticket stamped for $ 10. valet instead of $30. Will definitely return here wonderful memorable date night with hubby. read more

I was lucky enough to be selected by Yelp Miami to attend this event with my bff. I have tried wine pairing before but never beer pairing so I was beyond excited. Folks, this was one of the best experiences ever so thank you Yelp. As guests walked in, we were greeted with a welcome beer cocktail made with aperol spritz and Funky Buddha Chant IPA. It was so refreshing and light. Perfect start and got us in the mood. Then we were escorted to a private dining room along with several guests which btw, were super friendly. First pairing was the 96 Hour Braised Short Rib with Pineapple Beach Blonde Ale. This bao bun was beyond amazing. Just melted in your mouth and perfectly paired with the ale. Second course was the Beer Battered Reuben Sandwich with Fuhgeddaboutit Red Ale. This Rueben was the next level. Bread perfectly toasted and the corned beef was so flavorful. Love the presentation too. Third course was the Crispy White Fish paired with Chardonnay Barrel Aged White Sangria. OMG, That fish was just too die for. Well balanced and goes well with the White Sangria. The last course was dessert, of course. It was called Grapefruit Pavlova with the El Camino Hazy IPA (which is my favorite Funky Buddha beer). I'm not really into fruit desserts but this was beyond my expectation. Flavor explosion and not too sweet. We were really impressed by this pairing. Just the execution and the service were above and beyond. Our host was energetic and very knowledgeable. Even the Chef came out and explained each dish. We loved it so much that we already planned to go to the next date but the crisis happened unfortunately. The beer pairing is normally on the last Thursday of every month and cost about $58. Corsair was advertised as the more casual dining option at the Turn dry. So we were very positively surprised how beautiful the restaurant was and it's amazing view at the golf course. Our server Greggy was fantastic. He was friendly, on point, and smart. He definitely made this an awesome experience for us. We had the onion ring tower and tomato soup upfront. Our son had chicken tenders and fruit. My husband had the steak frites and I had the rigatoni. Everything was presented in a very appetizing way and tasted great. While staying in the hotel, I came here for breakfast. It was disappointing arrival experience. I asked for a table for one. The hostess said that noand was told there was a 35-minute but open seating at the bar. As I walked to the bar, I counted 7 empty tables and about a half-dozen that were vacant but waiting to be cleaned. Maybe there were reservations that hadn't arrived yet but I didn't see anyone else that appeared to be waiting. The strong impression was bias against people dining alone: they didn't want me taking up a table in case seven families suddenly showed up. However, the breakfast itself was good: eggs cooked exactly as ordered, bacon thick-sliced and crispy. The coffee was average. It did not seem to be freshly brewed. I did not see another pot being made during the 45 minutes I sat at the bar. The bartender was courteous but overtaxed. Towards the end of my meal a server came around behind the bar to lend a hand. She was terrific. An indicator that the problem getting seated might not have been people with reservations who had not yet turned up is that there was still about a half-dozen empty tables when I left after eating at the bar. read more

The more permanent buffet selection here for is so well stocked, no unloved items, everything is what you want in a brunch buffet and very fresh. The service here is like clock work, if the clock was a Rolex, at a wall inside the Rolex Factory lol. I'd estimate you save 20-50% depending on what you get from their spice menu compared to normal pricing, so definitely worth trying during Miami Spice if you can! Small portions but the flavor and quality is amazing, even in the soup and salad! I feel with normal pricing this place would be a little overpriced.
