Great bagels. I live in NYC and every time I'm upstate I have to stop and bring back a dozen bagels.

Came here for a quickly breakfast, let say this place is very full loaded with options, between sandwiches, drinks, bagels, sweets and deli goods. To me it's rarity to see a place like cover so many bases. Ordered a hobo during rush, and trust me its this place maintains a line of customers. The hobo was great, eggs were cooked perfectly, ham was grilled but not burnt, and hash browns were heavily flavored, plus when I asked ketchup and hot sauce to be added, they put a good amount that did not made sandwich soggy. I did want to try more but I was travel though and did have time, but love to try a cold cut here. Definitely give place a place they got a little of everything here. read more

As we head home, we hit this local bagel joint that we drove by. I should've gotten the Taylor Ham, egg and cheese to compare to the ones in my area..... but I didn't. The wait was kind of unusual. We only order a sandwich and two bagels, yet we waited almost 20 minutes. Just seemed very odd. I got the Ham, egg and cheese with home fries on a roll. Food vs roll ratio was not very good. You definitely tasted mostly the roll vs the actual food inside of it. Everyone was very friendly, but in addition to our wait time, I did notice a few eat in orders that were not to the customer's likings as well. It just seemed chaotic, despite the fact that there were more than enough employees on hand. I wish I was local, because the eggs by the dozen price can't be beat. read more

Very unfriendly when you come in . Was annoyed to take our order. They shut the grill off an hour before they close So you're limited on what you can get. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with cheese ketchup and mayo was disgusting the chicken was barely warm the cheese was not melted and the ketchup and May was jst slopped on . They messed up all 4 sandwiches! It included ketchup when we specifically said do not include. Not only is ketchup so disgusting on an egg sandwich there is no recovering the sandwich once it's there. read more

Bagels girls is our go to place for fresh bagels, coffee and sometimes breakfast. Service is always good, even on the super busy days! I don't usually eat there but the ambiance is suitable to dine in. read more

We walked in the same time as two gentlemen. They went to one cashier and went to an other one. We all ordered bacon egg, and cheese sandwich. They told us the grill was closed but they took the gentleman's order. Terrible service. read more

Breakfast sandwiches are spot on. Deli choices are solid. Place was a bit busy so it was a little hectic/loud, staff was a little short-tempered, but you aren't going there for the service. A $15.59 pastrami on rye and a $3 20 oz root beer. OK. But no little cup of cole slaw or a slice of pickle to accompany it? C'mon. And that's after waiting 10 minutes to place the order! To top it off, the clerk/sandwich maker bagged the sandwich and as I handed him the soda to include in the bag, he declined to take it with a "you can put it in the bag yourself look." I used to come here all the time! Their macaroni salad is amazing, and everything is always fresh and so good!! I called to place a lunch order yesterday as I was in the parking lot so we didn't have to take the baby out of the car and wait for it to be made. Whoever answered the phone said "we don't take orders over the phone you need to come in person and thank you" and hung up. I was so caught off guard because the ladies that own this place are so nice and I've called in my order many times in the past. This place has decent bagels and the Katz pastrami but they are severely mismanaged as a business. They post a closing time of 2PM on Saturday but after driving 30 mins to get there, they had disassembled their slicer early and could not sell me their products. Why post a closing time when you are actually closing 30 mins earlier?! This shows a total disrespect for their customers who have busy lives and take their posted closing times seriously. Shame on them for wasting my time. Change your damn posted closing times if you can't sell your products before that time. To put your customers through such disappointment and inconvenience will lead to your business failing and your doors closing for good. I am no longer a customer. read more

It's been a long time since I been here. The place has changed. They got a lot of good food here. As you walk in they got a lot of pre made foods behind the glass cases. I only got a bacon and egg cheese sandwich and it was vert very good!! The store was packed. I have to go back soon and order something else. read more

We ordered the following - everything bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese -everything bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese - 2 large snickerdoodle ice coffees - 1 large freshly squeezed orange juice The bagels were soft and chewy just how they should be. My partner really enjoyed the veggie cream cheese because the vegetable were finely chopped. The orange juice definitely tasted fresh yet slightly tart but it was good over all. The ice coffee was surprisingly very good as well. I like my coffee black so i never expect it to actually taste good regardless if its flavored or not but, i definitely recommend it it you love a strong cinnamon flavor. I read the reviews about the poor customer service prior to coming but I did not have that same experience. The workers are predominantly 15 year old girls and it was also 6:30 am on a Saturday so i don't expect them to be jumping for joy but they were not rude to me at all. read more

I live across the street and refuse to order here. When I do I regret it every time. They don't pay attention to my order.. and always add extra stuff I didn't ask for. I hate cheese on my breakfast sandwich and I ask for no cheese every time and I have yet to receive one correct out of maybe 10 times I've ordered it. I only use Chester deli next door and they actually care and get it right every time. I'm not the type to write reviews but when you refuse to make me one correctly or give me my money back it got me to my point where I'll never come again. read more

Specifically asked, "slice it thin, please" for the pastrami on rye . When I unwrapped it at home, it should have had "Goodyear" stamped on it, the meat was thick and rubbery. Well I'm doing a review update one year later because I have been eating here at the same time almost every day, lately. I have noticed the service has gotten so much better although I have not been here at any other time of the day in the past year (only during the morning breakfast rush). On the other hand though, there are still plenty of newer reviews talking about the service still being bad and the employees still being rude so this makes me believe it's too good to be true. The food is excellent. I get a sausage bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel quite often. They load up the ingredients and the eggs are even better here than they were a year ago!! So, conclusively, I am adding a star to my bad review from last year. If I continue to go here with no complaints I will update again and add another star. Better service and better food and not skimping on ingredients equals happier customers and more business!! read more

Eh. I've been coming to Bagel Girls since they opened in Chester, and quite frankly, it's worth the drive to go to Bagel Boys in Monroe. They barely even add cream cheese to their bagels - pictured. They didn't even wrap my husbands BOBO completely and it fell apart in the bag. Start your morning elsewhere. read more

The woman who took my order (an older lady), was very rude to me and it seemed as if she had better things to do. Hubby gets bagels here on the weekend. I've been eating bagels since the 70s and am very impressed with them. I've eaten their poppy and onion bagels and they are delicious. They are cooked just how I like them. I am kind of picky when it comes to food and I can honestly say these are some of the best bagels I've ever eaten. I'm glad we ignored the bad reviews. Found this gem once we exited US-6W in search of Breakfast food. They have ample seating and great service. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches were delicious. I would recommend this Deli. They have a great menu, along with deli style sandwiches. read more

Dirty, I am so disappointed the bagels are great but The store has a lot to fix when it comes to cleanliness. I had emailed them directly before posting and they got rid of candy that was expired, candy that was covered in a layer of dust, they said they were going to fix the ceiling tiles. The store is very dirty I'm amazed they haven't had health violations. 1st the ceiling look up its water stained and the vents are covered in black dirt/dust that is disgusting and i am sure is falling onto the food. They have put the rack back into the middle of the store with boxex of candy, that doesn't sell and I am sure in a year or two will still be there ( I had informed them of items expired that were 2 years past the expire date they fixed thT but then brought that stuff back). The pastries in boxes at the front of the store have no dates on them...who know how old these are. My suggestion, clean the store top to bottom once a month and stick to what you are good at which is bagels. Get rid of the Candy, the pastries that are in plastic boxes, premade sandwiches probably sitting there for weeks. read more

Their food is tasty. However, they don't take orders over the phone. It started out that they just weren't taking orders over the phone on the weekends which I sort of understood because they get very busy. However, it is a Tuesday at seven in the morning and I just called to place an order and they wouldn't take it. That's crazy! I'm not going to wake up even earlier to sit there and wait for my order to be made while I'm in there. Additionally, I get charged different prices every time I go, and they're always much higher than anybody else in the area. read more
