A bag of eleven. How do you mess that up so badly? Mistakes happen--sure--but this isn't just a mistake. It's a pattern of total incompetence. But the real issue? The manager. Absolutely vile behavior. When I called to explain the mistake (again), she didn't apologize--she got defensive, rude, and downright nasty. I asked for the owner, who's usually reasonable, but she wasn't in. Instead, I got this manager on the phone, and what followed was completely unacceptable. She tried to blame me for their mistake, told me I'd have to drive 30 minutes back to fix their error, and then--get this--started swearing at me. Profanity, name-calling, and even threatened to ban me from the deli. As if I'd ever go back after being spoken to like that. This person has no business managing a lemonade stand, let alone dealing with paying customers. The owner seriously needs to wake up and realize this manager is driving people away with her disgusting attitude and lack of professionalism. There are dozens of bagel shops around--don't waste your time or money at this one. Unless you enjoy getting the wrong order, being blamed for it, and verbally abused when you speak up. I'll never step foot in this place again.

Came back, the usual ladies weren't there. "Greeted" by a red headed woman that didn't seem so keen on greeting my boyfriend and I. It is a simple bagel shop that knows its lane. Price felt fair. Coffee was hot and not burnt. Cream cheese ratio was right. I am picky about that. Do I wish the menu had a little more going on. Yeah. A couple extra spreads, maybe a rotating special. If you want wild flavors, this is not that stop. But the classics are done properly, and that is why I keep coming back. If you are passing through town and need a quick breakfast that will not let you down, this is an easy yes. Park, grab a bag, get back on the road. Simple, reliable, and it hits the spot..

Last time I was here I think they ran the bagel by the toaster but that's it. This morning they didn't even bother. It's not an insult to want a fresh bagel toasted when you need a contrast in texture with the soft cream cheese and lox inside. Also, I always pay with cash and now that pennies are gone they are not rounding to the nearest five cents, they're just rounding it up regardless of what the number is. It's the nearest and most convenient bagel shop to my place but after having my request for having my bagel toasted ignored so often, I don't think I'll be coming back.

While that's my only complaint I'll put that blame on me for my lack of bagel storing knowledge. Would I stop here and buy bagels again? Abso-freaking-lutely!
