For the thoho egg sandwich pretty good, melty cheese, grilled ham, fried egg and okay home fries, since crispy home fries would be better. yummy! We stopped by this place for breakfast on a Sunday morning while staying in the area and I have to say, awesome find and definitely worth the stop. As a family of 4, we got 2 bagels and 2 breakfast sandwiches. The bagels were fresh, tasty and when toasted with cream cheese, ended up being some of the best bagels I've ever had. I've eaten bagels in the NYC, LI, NJ, lower CT areas, and this little shop in the middle of nowhere can hold its own with all that I've tried before. Perfectly made and the cream cheese is very tasty as well (we both got the scallion cream cheese). The two bagels we had were the egg and pumpernickel. The two sandwiches were sausage egg and cheese and a bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll. Both were solid and tasty. They pre added ketchup salt and pepper, that little extra touch to make even better. The owner even brought the food out to our table when ready, something we did not expect. The shop does a good variety of sandwiches, has a great chip selection and all sorts of drinks to choose from. The kids enjoyed Snapple's and we had coffee that was flavorful as is without any flavor add on. If you're in this area, give the place a try. Visiting NY and stayed a night in Middletown. No other breakfast would suffice. It had to be a Bacon Egg and Cheese and I opted for their jalapeño bagel. I've gone twice, the first visit I ordered an everything bagel that was too salty in my opinion. The lady at the counter seemed to be rushing me or annoyed that I wasn't ordering fast enough or that I asked where their list of cream cheese flavors were. Their sandwich was very good! The second time I had a similar feeling with the cashier, like he just was rushing even though there was no line and bothered by a question. I got a plain bagel and raspberry cream cheese and it was delicious.
