STALE BAGEL. Tastes like baked 3 or 4 days ago Can't finish eating it..
    Chris W.

Male owner is super rude. No customers in the shop at 1130am because food is stale. Cinnamon bagel stale that I got this morning. Take your business elsewhere. Big sign on restroom that says for customer use only. What happen to serving the community and what if an elderly person or a pregnant female or someone needs to use the restroom? My cousin who I am visiting here says she also no longer goes here after being treated bad several times. PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO MULTIPLE PEOPLE. Read the other reviews. Bad stale food and poor customer service. Thumbs

It is actually very nice inside here and very clean, plus a lot of seating. I walked up to place my order and even though the counter guy took my order very thoughly and even asked if wanted to get something to drink, I sort of tell the guy had no passion for business and seemed bit dead inside and when after my order another customer rolled in he was the same. It's a nice place, you don't have be super positive, but bit more personable rather then the stare of why am still doing this, sorry for the rant. So I had turkey and bacon decker sandwich with no tomato and lettuce and on wheat bread. Positives, plenty of turkey and bacon and not too much cheese slices as cheap fillers. Negative wish the bread was toasted, usually decker sandwiches are toasted before assembly. Like counter guy, I guess am indifferent and this place is a meh.

Let me tell you a secret! I'm a sucker for fresh toasted bread and my turkey club had just that. The sandwich was delicious, the lady making my sandwich was polite and the place was clean. Can't ask for anything more. I'd definitely go back.

This is one of those spots you hope no one sleeps on because it's too good to stay a secret. I stopped in during my break since I didn't pack lunch and figured a deli sub would do the trick. A quick Yelp search showed an almost perfect rating, which seemed wild at first, but after eating here I get it. I walked in and saw the owner in a chef's coat, his staff in theirs, cooking and taking orders right in front of you. The setup felt like an open-air kitchen that still fully embraced being a deli. They even have an "ocky way" sandwich section, plus regular hot and cold sandwiches on a sub or a roll. Drinks and chips you don't see everywhere. The variety and quality genuinely impressed me. The owner was super friendly, and I ordered a honey turkey chopped cheese-style sandwich cold. Mayo, lettuce, turkey, American cheese, salt, pepper, vinegar, all chopped together and stuffed into a hero. It came out to twelve bucks. The menu has range. There's a salad bar, beef patties, and the place smelled incredible. I was already planning my next order before I even left. I took my sandwich back to work, sat down on break, and the first bite was an explosion of flavor. The sweetness of the honey turkey, the creamy mayo, the hit of vinegar, everything came together perfectly. I ate half and saved the other half for Jo because it was that good. This is officially my new lunch spot when I'm working in the area. Five out of five stars.

The staff was genuinely welcoming, attentive, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Now, the food... absolutely incredible. It was rich, sweet, savory, and packed with real pieces of bacon such a unique and unforgettable combination and it had a spice to it as well what paired well with The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and cooked to perfection. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Between the amazing atmosphere, outstanding service, and unforgettable food, Jones Farm & Country Store is a place I'll gladly return to again and again. I've been here a few times and will just add that the food isn't amazing and is typically slow to come out (not expecting that much given that the place is small and can get crowded). Today they had no real lunch items except for soup and a few pre-made sandwiches, all egg or breakfast items even after 11. I wouldn't order the avocado toast again; while the egg was made well, the avocado was spread pretty thinly and the toast very thin and ordinary. The chicken and Waffles with Sriracha maple syrup was pretty good and the gruyere, mushroom, spinach and egg sandwich as well. I think everything is fine, including the bakery, but nothing really stands out. $10 minimum for credit cards. They close on Mondays and Tuesdays. They don't have a big lot but do have overflow parking.

The bistro has a cute exterior offering a few outdoor seats and a minimal but stylish interior and is perfect if you want to stay and chill or get your food to go. This isn't Subway so the sandwiches are priced above $10, but considering the quality and quantity (and maybe because I'm just acclimated to paying ridiculous prices in the City) you definitely get your money's worth. I heartily enjoyed the sliced hanger steak sandwich and found the mix of horseradish mayo, sautéed mushrooms, and arugula on a toasted ciabatta to be perfection. I also tried the fried chicken sandwich which was well seasoned and made all that much better with the sriracha mayo and pickles! I will be back for certain to explore the rest of the sandwich and salad options, especially the capers and oyster mushroom sandwiches and roasted beet and goat cheese salads. They also offer baked goods from Newburgh Flower Shop down the block as well as a variety of coffee and tea drinks. If you get pickup, call the restaurant directly because the prices through Doordash are higher to compensate for the fees the restaurant has to pay. Good to have Toasted on the Liberty Street scene!

The bread was sturdy and crusty and crunchy on the outside. The oyster mushrooms were accompanied with a lovely spicy aioli and pickles. Even though it may a cost a little more than a sandwich from a national chain, the food is made with lots of care with fresh ingredients and the portion is enough for two lunches (at least for me). It was a little messy so I was glad I was outside to enjoy it. It's a small space inside (perhaps 5 square table for 2 each) and it's almost kitty corner to my favorite shop, Oliver & Chatfield. Since it's a little further down on Liberty street, you'll find plenty of street parking.

This time around I ordered the salami and blue cheese and the roast beef special. The cheese and bread are all super fresh, but that didn't stop the roast beef sandwich from being a bit bland. The salami and blue cheese sandwich is a favorite of mine, and again was super fresh, but the sandwich was small and doesn't come with any veggies. I think the reason I am giving this two stars, and not three of four, is because of the ambiance and service. This time we waited around 20 minutes just to order our sandwiches, as there was only one person in the front, and they spent 15 minutes letting some people ahead of us sample cheese. The shop was packed, but the line was barely moving. We also saw the employees stick his nose in some mortadella and sniff it... not sure if that was a quality check but it was a bit of a turn-off. The shop itself is cute, but it has no bathroom or indoor seating, which is a must after a long car ride or hike (the area is famous for hiking). There are two outdoor tables, but they are extremely cramped. We sat down with our baby and there just wasn't enough room for us and the three ladies next to us, so my husband ate standing up. The cheese itself is quite nice and the staff is quite knowledgeable about what they products they offer. However, I like to stop here for lunch, and the lunch menu is limited to sandwiches. There are only a few sandwiches offered (maybe 5 and two specials) and they don't rotate through menu items very often, so I feel like I've tried each sandwich they offer multiple times over at this point. The sandwiches are usually quite bare and don't come with many veggies or variety. So that being said, I've been returning less because I'm a bit bored by the offerings.
