Most of the time, the staff and service is great... However, that doesn't mean they get your order right ever... I was very sad to see that they had a fire, I would go for bagels and make my own breakfast sandwiches at home... That's because they do not follow directions! Ever... I gave them another shot today to prepare something for me which I could've made at home very easily for pennies on the dollar, but I like their bagels and they just had a fire and are getting back up on their feet... The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because the staff is very nice and the store is clean. The pictures attached are supposed to be egg and cheese on a roll and egg and cheese on white toast. They should be ashamed of themselves for the price they charge for sandwiches this size. Also the "white toast" was just soggy white bread. The ultra processed cheese they use doesn't even melt on the sandwiches and the chive cream cheese is expensive everywhere so I have no comment on that. The total for the below pictures and a dozen bagels was $50. Unbelievable. We've been here multiple times mostly because it's the only local "bagel store" and it hasn't gotten any better. My recommendation is you're better off taking the 15 min ride to Greenwood lake for bagels. read more

My wife and I came here before going to a vendor event . We ordered two breakfast sandwiches. I got mine on a bagel, and then my wife got hers on a wrap, and my wife was not happy about her sandwich it was artificial spinach . The wait was forever. We understood that they had a lot of orders, but we were probably waiting there around 15 - 20 minutes. Supporting local is essential during this time & they make the bagels in house! Watching the bagels literally come out of the oven was a selling point for me. My order: Sesame bagel scooped out with scallion cream cheese Everything bagel with veggie cream cheese BEC on toast with S/P/K 2 iced coffees french vanilla and hazelnut The the bagels were really burnt. Like literally black on both sides which was a bust. No one was really in there either so its not like they couldn't just retoast another one. Plus they literally have bagels rolling out the oven every 5 minutes sooo thats just pure laziness. Not to mention the cream cheese orders were on the wrong bagels, which was fine but the bagel being burnt didn't help matters. The hazelnut iced coffee tasted horrible but the french vanilla was tasty. I noticed someone come in and just order a dozen bagels. There's no place anywhere that has a better bagel .. the only draw back is they close at 1pm and they often sell out of bagels even earlier then that .. but that's only because they make there bagels there in an open kitchen and can only possibly make a certain amount.. This morning: We ordered 4 lox bagels on the phone for pickup. Place is 15m away. Drove to get our order, 30m round trip. Many people inside with their masks not covering their nose so I'm already feeling frustrated. Got home. Opened our bagels. All of them are missing ... The lox. Called the place back. They said they'd remake the bagels but it was going to be twenty minutes because they are baking more everything bagels. Got back there THIRTY minutes later to pick the remade orders up. "it's going to be 15 more minutes until the bagels are ready" So we wait in the car. For THIRTY more minutes. It's now 1 hour after I called for them to remake the order. 2 hours after I placed the original order. Finally the bagels are ready. I go to pick them up from the counter and THEY ASKED ME IF I WOULD GO HOME AND BRING THEM BACK THE WRONG ORDER FIRST LOL. I was quite literally speechless. I asked if they want my partner, at home, to send me a picture if they didn't believe me? Why would I wait 2 hours for like $25 worth of food just to scam a local business? Regardless it earned them a one star review and a steer clear recommendation for anyone who asks where to get good bagels in the area. read more

Was visiting from DC and was hoping to get a "NY Bagel" fix, this place hit the spot. This is a good spot with home made fresh cream cheese. The service was rough and all over the place and they didn't really take credit card if I remember correctly, but once you get the bagel in your hands the flavor makes up for all of that. I would probably go back if I lived in the area and do what other reviewers said: buy a dozen bagels from here and take them home and make them yourself. I took a trip to Warwick yesterday and my aunt kept saying this bagel place was awesome so we decided to give it a try. I am so glad that we did ! The bagels are huge! And they have a French Toast bagel!! Mmmm French Toast....in a bagel....can I pour syrup on it? Anyway they have so many types you will not get bored. I had the lox and it was kick ass. Then I went back in and bought a dozen because I'm greedy that way.The coffee is good and self serve,and they have lots of juices if that's your thing.For whatever reason the have framed pictures of Newspaper covers on the walls with the biggest headlines over the last 15 years. I placed an order for a variety of bagels for a work baby shower to be picked up the next day, the girl told me it would be a nice platter etc and I needed cream cheese for over 20 nurses for the shift. i went today to pick it up and it was 2.5 dozen plain, they argued that it what I orderEd, because that is what was written on the piece of paper. They did attempt to fix it with the scraps they had left over at 12pm, which was basically nothing. So disappointing. if I wanted 2.5 dozen plain I would've bought from shop rite. It is most disappointing that they kept telling me I was wrong and that is what I ordered, when I definitely did not. I hate complaining and never leave reviews, this really upset me especially since I was holding my one year old son through the whole exchange. I will never return back here. read more

Stopping in mid morning let's say 9:30-10 am, out of bagels with a line still out the door. If every day you run out of bagels at 10, and every day you still have people coming in maybe you should increase your production. Never going back, I went to a different shop and got breakfast, after waiting in line for 20min only to then be told they were out. Oh C & D, how you hold a special place in my heart always and forever. I started coming here living in the area at the time, during H.S years. If you live around here, then you know about C&D but if you don't then I suggest you come in for a damn good bagel! Is it the best bagel ever? No, BUT it's up there w/the best and that says a lot considering I live in NYC. They can hold their own with the best of them! Even on busy mornings they are able to keep the line moving and take orders fairly quick. They have a good selection of bagels & toppings here, along with them being fluffy and soft...mmmm...the best stuff is always the worst for you. Oh how I wish my waistline could afford to have a bagel every day! Age sure ain't helping either. The beverage selection is great here from various cold beverages to coffee. There is also ample seating inside to sit and enjoy. So for you out of towners, if you are in the lovely town of Warwick for any reason during the morning time, go past that crappy Burger King into the back lot and find good old C&D bagles for a good breakfast experience! read more

I reluctantly phoned in 5 breakfast sandwich orders and as expected, when I brought it home 3 out of the 5 orders were wrong. I was very disappointed with the service and got into a fight with the wife as a result. Warning to all: CHECK YOUR SANDWICHES WHILE YOUR THERE TO ENSURE THEY ARE CORRECT.
