I have been to this bagel place a few times. I usually get a everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, and my boyfriend gets the Taylor ham egg and cheese. Both items are good, but they are a little cheap with what they put on his sandwich. So far, I have not had a problem with my order, and the staff is nice. read more

Came here a few times and after every time I go I say to myself why didn't I go to the Bagel stop on valley rd. It's about 2 min farther but so much more worth it then this place. I only have come here because it's closer. This weekend I came in to pick up two sandwiches. And the entire time I got so annoyed and impatient. Usually I have patience but this time it was really unreal. When I walked in a woman took my order. However when she was taking my order her daughter and I assume husband came in behind me so as they were speaking Spanish in the middle of myself ordering which was so rude and the lady should have told her daughter and husband to hold on and wait. However her daughter was super cute. So I guess I will give a star for the cute little 2 year old. From the second I ordered my 2 easy sandwiches I knew my order was doomed. Since the lady was literally not paying attention I knew it was all over. She took and I am not even exaggerating 15 min to make two sandwiches with turkey lettuce mayo and like 2 other things on it. Not even. And the best part is that she got the entire order wrong. I asked for a plain bagel. I got a whole wheat 3 day old bagel that tasted terrible. I asked for hot peppers never got them. I asked for a long roll never happened. When I got home I was so pissed. The best part is that as this lady is making my sandwiches like a turtle she is in Spanish gossiping about god knows what. There is a blonde lady who I believe is the owner. If I was her I would be upset about that. Please stop gossiping and take 2 min to make my sandwiches instead of almost 20. Just finish my made wrong sandwiches and get me out of there so I'm not standing around. After waiting so long for my sandwich and no apology i got annoyed and almost wanted to say something and walk out. She then charged me. Asked me if I wanted a receipt. I answered with yes. 2 seconds later she asked me again because it seemed like she didn't want to do it just like she didn't want to make my 2 sandwiches. So I just said fine forget the receipt. I know it's a tough task to give me one. Every time I get bagels from here they taste like nothing. And are missing salt! The one lady who has blonde ish hair is very sweet. And she will help you out. And there is a younger guy who has brown hair who is good. If this one lady wasn't there who acted like she didn't want to be there I may have gone back. I ordered ONE bagel sandwich, bacon, egg whites and cheese on a whole wheat bagel to go. The server couldn't remember all that so she went for a piece of paper so she could write it down. She came back with pen and paper. I repeated my order. When I got home lo and behold it was a regular egg and no cheese. I took it back and got my money back, they said they must have given me someone else's order, but that was not the case because it was on a whole wheat bagel with bacon. At least they gave me my money back and apologized. My experience at delis is that once they start writing stuff down it is never right. That seems counter-intuitive but what I think happens is that once multiple people are involved in preparing the food it just gets botched. At good delis the server memorizes AND prepares your order and gets you out faster with the correct order. The sandwich was small too, small amount of eggs and bacon. read more

What has happened to Bagel O's? I used to love their bagels and judged others by them. I've been stopping by for a bagel with cream cheese at least once a week for over 10 years. Nothing has dematically changed, but it ain't what it used to be. Last week I had an "everything" bagel and there was hardly anything, as far a toppings. And the cream cheese seemed like it was droped on with a big spoon. Too thick on one half and nothing on the other. This morning same thing, but with the added treat of having the TV tuned to Telemundo Spanish TV and too loud as well. I thought the TV was for the customers, not the staff. I like to see the news while I wait. And I like to understand what they say. Piece of advice: Raise prices if you must, but stop skimping on the food. Dunkin dounuts would like to expand. read more

Terrible. Every time I order here the order is either wrong or something else bad happens. I waited an hour and a half for a delivery for two grilled cheeses for my two kids who are home sick. At an hour I called and was told she was leaving now (3min away) half hour later she shows up. The order was $15, I handed her a $20 bill and she says no change. She took the food back lol WHAT?!?!? Who does that!!!! Get it together bagel os. Never again! stay away from this horrendous establishment. read more

I love everything about Bagel O's! First of all, they have banana foster coffee- and it is AMAZING! I was skeptical, but I now get it all the time! I've been coming here for so long and all of a sudden everything changed. The younger women that works there has a huge attitude every single time I come in and not only to me but to the other customers around me. Whenever I ask for my bagel toasted or scooped out they never do it and it's sad because I'm paying for a good breakfast and they give me a half ass job. I got the jalapeño cream cheese twice and it was old. I understand maybe not many customers get it but that doesn't mean u don't change your cream cheese and make a fresh one. Many things need to be fixed here and I don't think I'll ever step foot in there again especially with the attitude they are giving. read more

This place is my gold standard for bagels in NNJ. Taste, consistency, topping quantity (both sides), variety. There are other good bagels closer, but I go out of my way when I can for an Everything with cream chesse from this place. Nothing but nice things to say about this place.... bagels are huge and taste great. Staff is friendly. Sometimes the wait is a little long for sandwiches during busy hours (try to make it early to beat the rush). They always have a great selection of coffee flavors. read more
