Going with 5 stars on this one, because it's going to be hard to beat. They have parking along with street parking. Very busy, so you know it's solid. Especially with competition right across the street. They have everything organized inside with the ordering and paying/ pick up area. I was craving an Italian sub. So I rolled the dice and ordered one. Quality was excellent and priced "normally". I'm not sure we know what normal is when it comes to eating out, but this was below what I was expecting to pay considering what I received. My son got the Buffalo Chicken wrap and the results were exactly the same. Being a bagel joint, I'm sure their specialties are breakfast sandwiches, so I'll have to visit earlier next time. I work nearby and go here for a bagel with cream cheese and orange juice on days that I am too lazy to make my own breakfast. The quality is what you'd expect from a bagel shop in NJ/NY. They don't have much of a vegetarian/vegan menu but they were nice to make me a wrap for lunch that wasn't on the menu. The store is clean, reasonable prices and quick, friendly service. I was in the area this morning and was in need of some nourishment so I stopped in at the Bagel Station. There were 4-5 people ahead of me so I was quickly able to figure out the ordering process. Kept it simple with a Taylor Ham, egg and cheese (TEC) on an everything bagel and a large coffee. They make your coffee here so you need to know how to like it. Sandwich didn't take long to come up and I may have spent a total of 8-9 minutes in the place. Prices were certainly affordable and the workers here (I assumed the guy at the register talking to all the locals was the owner) were friendly and fast...service with a smile. Tough parking in the morning as this place is on a busy street,but found a spot on street on my side since I was opposite the business and couldn't get into their lot. Good selection of your normal bagels here, nothing really funky, plus rolls and some muffins and pastries. Coffee was good and the TEC was very good...I like that they give you two eggs. I found my way here by happy accident. The bagel joint I intended to go to only had four varieties of bagels available. I was looking for pumpernickel and rye bagels specifically. This place had such a huge variety, and everything was very fresh. Despite being busy, the staff was super helpful and so friendly. I ended up with a dozen bagels plus a Taylor, ham, egg and cheese on garlic bagel to go. The sandwich was by far one of the best I've had in the area. I LOVE Bagel Station. Truth be told, one of my favorite parts of visiting my mother-in-law is Bagel Station. She lives down the block from this place and my husband and I stop by here every time we see her (yes, we also enjoy seeing her too). Our go-to is always Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese on an Everything Bagel with SPK. The sandwich is always cooked and seasoned right and we inhale it within minutes of receiving it. I wish I could live here. The guys who run this place are also extremely friendly and easy going. Beware though....weekend mornings, if you're not early enough, you will wait in line! Updating a review from 2016. Still my go-to breakfast place. They've recently introduced blueberry bagels, which are popular in the house. Bagels still fresh and Taylor ham is still great. I switch between American and Cheddar, but I've also done Swiss and Mozzarella. Selection of various beverages including Snapple and Red Bull. Breakstone butter and cream cheese, milk, and other choices if you need some accoutrements you don't need to go elsewhere. Sweets selection is a little limited, but there are usually muffins, crumb cake, and marble cake available. PS: Don't you call it pork roll, you're in North Jersey. read more

I've only ordered a bagel with butter toasted from Bagel station & even at that, it's just okay. The toasted consistency is way too crunchy and it gets cold and hard fast. This is the best bagel place around. They have so many different kind of bagels, different cream cheese flavors, cold cuts, rolls, chips, various forms of drinks, side salads and much more. They are extremely pleasant and they work quickly. Yesterday I was there & was a long line. We still got out quickly. They always get our orders right. They make sandwiches exactly the way you request it. They also somehow remember their customers even if the customer has not been there in a while. I wouldn't go to any other Bagel store.
