The bagel was good. I give it a 4. But the three people we saw working there looked like they absolutely hated to be there. They could triple their sales if they just acted decent and friendly to the customers. It was not in a kitschy NY way either. If you hate your job so bad why not find another one or just make the one you are at pleasant. We will never go there again. So rude! To Start....if I could give 0 star, I would. Had several issues here, comes down to real bad management and incompetent staff. I ordered online several items to include a Denver burrito with additional green chili and avocado for an extra charge. The order was missing both. I addition, I was overcharged for the burrito and it was missing hash browns. I called and spoke with a female employee who said she would notify the manager, he would call me to arrange the refund. The manager never called. When I called back and spoke with the manager he knew nothing of my previous call but did state that he would refund the overcharge. It's been over a week now, no refund. As far as the burrito.....the kitchen prepared it with raw onion and green pepper....nasty. My order also included a $6.00 tip. Don't waste your $ here! read more

Was craving a bagel so I decided to try this place. I got two different one. Cowboy cream cheese and regular. I asked for them not to be toasted cause I like a soft bagel. Not only did they toast both of them but the bottom was burnt. It was so hard. The cowboy cream cheese was not a good combo sweet and lots of onion. The regular cream cheese was good. Your order is really just a suggestion to them. My last few times alone I've received someone else's bagels but my spreads were all left out, had a whole order of cut sandwiches and bagels without a single one cut (fairly awkward office brunch when no one had a knife), and paid for cookies that were missing from the bags (circled on the receipt as if out of stock but not a word was said when I picked up and no refund for them). I gave this place the benefit of the doubt because they seemed busy when things were done wrong but in these last few times, they weren't busy at all. The food is solid but not spectacular. But it doesn't have to be without any competition from any other bagel shops nearby. Consumers would benefit if there was some competition, it would make these guys step there game up. There are two major problems, the first is the drive-thru is SLOW. They need to figure out a more efficient way of getting people through. Second and maybe the most frustrating is that after waiting 10 minutes to order, Bagel Stop runs out of bagels! I really wanted to like the Bagel Stop Cafe, but I just can't do it. It is not horrible, but the food is just so bland and boring. The restaurant is very small, very "hole-in-the-wall". Being a Sunday morning, it was packed with no available tables. I had high hopes that this was an indication of how good the food was going to be. We ordered breakfast burritos,a breakfast bagel, and a blueberry bagel. All three were tasteless. The more I ate, the most I wished I had gone somewhere else. We stood in front Of the counter with more than 4 employees just walking past us not one of them stopped to say "hey be right with you" they literally just ignored two customers! Spent the last hour here with a toddler and the women here (especially the redhead and the darker pony-tailed expediter up front) have been so patient and friendly and speedy through a nonstop rush and a couple of customers who were clearly having a rough morning and were making sure everyone knew it with their body language. They've been total professionals and as a former server, I've been impressed watching them. They were also extra sweet to my little boy, and were so nice through the multiple fragmented orders I made throughout the morning and the requests for extra cups, tinfoil, an extra bag, etc. I don't know their names, but whomever owns the place (maybe one of them?) is lucky to have them. There was another mom with two kids next to me, and she mentioned how impressed she was, too, so I told her I'd write a review for both of us when we left. Thank you!! My only complaint would be that the butter is weirdly waxy and I think unsalted, too, so nothing cuts through the film it leaves on the top of your mouth. Used to love this small town Parker bagel shop, but it's been declining lately. Last year I had some of the rudest service there and hadn't been back. I decided to give their drive thru a go this morning. I ordered a Ham, cheese and egg bagel on a cheddar cheese bagel. What I got for +$7 dollars was a bagel with only cream cheese, and not even a lot of cream cheese. Also the young lady who took our order was really busy rubbing her nose and mouth which can be seen from the drive through window. I don't care if you wear a mask or not, but don't wipe your nose on your hand and then serve someone food. read more

Nom! Love these bagels. They taste fresh and the flavors are bold -- if I'm eating a jalepeno bagel, I want to know I'm eating a jalepeno bagel! This place used to be a staple when I was growing up but since then it has taken a turn for the worst. I waited over 50 minutes in the drive through for a single bagel with cream cheese and when I got it, it was completely cold and gross. I figured this might have been just a hard day, maybe with a staffing issues. I since returned to give it one more chance and ordered the veggie lunch sandwich, half the veggies that it was supposed to have on it were missing and the ones that were there were soggy and gross. Saddened to write this as I really want places like this to succeed. We keep it real here on Yelp and I hope this regrettable review is taken seriously by management. By 11:30 am they were out of pretty much everything bagel wise..... so I picked among the leftovers. My order was simple enough I thought: a toasted garlic bagel with the salmon plus fixings, a second garlic bagel with cream cheese, tomato and capers, and a bagel (had to get the honey wheat as there were no more plains) with just sausage for my son. Now mind you I was a bit harried as my wife was waiting outside with my restless dog and I was under pressure to get the orders right amid navigating the lack of choices. Explain to me how this bill came to 28 dollars and change? Three bagels only one with salmon? That's a high price for some leftover bagels not done the way I asked. So none were toasted, and I couldn't spend the time or aggravation to argue, thus I left, pissed off. Like I always say I am a fan of the local guys and I hope they take a hard look at their model including pricing, inventory and client service...... even if they are busy, they should always strive to be better. I watched the employee place my order on the drink machine and then walked away to work on a large order for the car behind me and various other tasks before coming back to take my payment and give me my one bagel. Bagel stop has either changed their baker or the recipe has changed. The bagels are much thinner than how they were in the past and the texture has changed for the worse. This was by far my favorite bagel shop in Colorado but now even Einstein Bagels is superior. I had hoped these changes for the worse were a fluke but I have seen the same issues with their bagels on four separate visits spread out over 3 or 4 months. Absolutely delicious. Bagels are huge and have the perfect consistency. Flavor is so spot on. Finally A spot to truly satisfy the need for tasty bagels. Well crafted bagels seem hard to come by out here...this is THE spot. Spread variety is killer..sweet or savory! I got the cowboy one with veggie jalapeño and chive! The food here is actually very good. They are GREATLY UNDERSTAFFED AND EQUIPPED to handle any type of volume however. If you see more than 3 people inside or cars in the drive thru... There is nothing inherently wrong with the Bagel Stop, other than it's just not the best bagel place in Denver. After experiencing Rosenberg's unattainable perfection and Moe's unique combination of a drunkard's delight, I can't help hearkening back to the to the days when we lived near both locations every time I walk into the Bagel Stop! The space itself is non-descript and isn't somewhere I'd want to spend an extended period of time in or around. Especially around where there are tables scattered outside next to the drive through window and it's puffing and unnecessary diesel trucks. The people are great, friendly and helpful. The bagels themselves aren't really bagels; rather some sort of croissant begging to be a bagel in it's next life. That being said, the weird combo actually works for a breakfast delivery vehicle, it just isn't a bagel. The innards of my sausage, egg and cheese sandwich where delicious, if not a little boring. Overall, this is what I have to choose from. And it should be where you go if you don't want to make the 40 mile round trip to civilization. This is my life now. Worst bagel and breakfast place we've ever been to! The people there are all over the place not knowing what they are doing. Spilling coffee, dropping bagels and giving people the wrong orders. Multiple people got their food before us who ordered after. My husband and son got the same burrito but one had some slices of cheese and sauce on top and the other didn't. My daughter never got hers and after looking at them she didn't want to wait anymore. I got a simple plain bagel and cream cheese toasted and was given a jalapeño bagel.
