We decided to stop in at 11:30a on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy but there were NO bagels left except one flavor. This place is open until 2p and their whole thing is bagels so it's confusing how they let themselves runout. The cashier also didn't mention they were out of every bagel he just let you go through requesting every type they were out of before landing on the one type they had left. I watched him to this with multiple customers. They had small bags of bagels all over the counters and weren't promoting eating them because they're apparently a day old.... I wanted the jalapeño cheese bagel but they only had Mountain Man. Once the bagel was made it was HUGE! Just look at the picture, what a puffy egg they put on there!! Way bigger and stacked than I excepted. Indoor/outdoor seating with a mom and pop feel. They had a "trinket trade" cabinet which I thought was adorable. Probably the best bagels in Denver ngl. I'm from California and I think western bagel which is a super small chain only in LA has the best bagels and cream cheese (outside of New York). The cream cheese here at bagel stop is very similar and it's super delicious. I do have to say that the bagels here are not traditionally made they are made like bread rather than bagels. You can tell when you bite into it but I still think they're super tasty. I really like their mountain man (everything bagel) with some of their plain cream cheese. Just based on this two ingredients, it's delicious. Next time, I'm definitely going to get some tomatoes in it. It's super tasty and worth giving it a try. It gets super busy so I recommend going in the morning. Don't do the drive through. If can be pretty slow. read more

They have a variety of bagels and food in general, which is good. So far, I've tried that breakfast bagels, and they're really good. They're a bit pricey. And it takes a very long time to get your order if you're in the drive-through. I've never gone inside, so I'm not sure of the ambience, but I will say that the drive-through speaker has a wasp problem and every time I go, I have to make sure to only open my window when I order because I always fear a wasp is going to get inside the car. Managers should take care of the wasp problem at the speaker. read more

I've visited this location on multiple occasions over the years and have always come back for the Parker burrito with green chile inside. Today, we decided to stop here on our way to the vet to have our pup euthanized, as we wanted to share one last meal with him. The young lady who helped us in the drive-thru took the time to ask how our day was going and if we had any plans. When I shared that we had our pup in the car and were sharing a final meal with him before heading to the vet, she went into the kitchen and brought back a small bowl of scraps just for him. For a place that specializes in bagels, they certainly do not cook them long enough, and using fake eggs that are more like a chemical sponge, is actually pretty disgusting for the money that you charge. I even asked the girl at the counter if there was any way to get real eggs and she giggled and said no, just the fake ones. I was hopeful they wouldn't be as bad as the last time. Wishful thinking. Love their bagels! We've been coming for years. Highly recommend! There may be a little bit of a wait, but well worth it. This morning I went in to get some bagels and a breakfast sandwich For my family and waited about the normal length of time for them to make my order. Then I got home and realized they hadn't included the breakfast sandwich, so I went back down expecting to just pick up the sandwich that was made sitting on the counter, but apparently it never even got made so had to wait again for another order that I had already placed and never received so much as a sorry for your inconvenience. I love Bagel Stop but the cross contamination can be really, really bad at times. I ordered for delivery a toasted apple cinnamon bagel with honey butter and got a perfectly toasted apple cinnamon bagel with honey butter but it also came with lots of garlic and onion. This degree of cross contamination doesn't happen every time but it happens often enough to drive me crazy. Bagel Stop would really benefit from having a sweet only toaster and a savory only toaster. My family also loves their burritos and bagel sandwiches. This place is seriously good but watch the cross contamination between sweet and savory.
