Waiters/waitresses were very attentive and quick to give us menus, waters, take our orders, and clear our empty plates when we finished the app/food. Definitely has a pub/sports bar vibe with bar seating and multiple screens broadcasting pretty much all the sunday NFL games. But they also had ample seating for larger parties and families and it definitely seems like a place that locals visit often. Ambiance is what it is: there are a few tables for people to sit at, but the vast majority are there to order and go. Great local spot.

I pour myself a cup of delicious French Roast Coffee and my bagel is ready. The bagel is perfect. It has a nice chew, just a little too big but thats my personal taste. Both are very different, both are great. If you want something savory and warm- go with the #4. If you want something that's more 'Italian' and cold cut oriented with a hint of sweetness, go with the #7. Charlie's doesn't really overcomplicate their recipes. The menu is a bit long (given the different combinations), but that's because their experiments are tried and true. The bread is excellent, not sure if made in-house but they're light, toasted, holds the sandwich 'innards' well (though some tectonic sliding iykwim) but still makes for a perfect big bite. Now these are not MASSIVE heroes like Lioni's (this is a good thing), but do consider these sandwiches more of an indulgence/treat. Well worth the trip/price.

I stopped in this bagel store two weeks ago for breakfast and found that they have the best bagels/food in brooklyn. Their bagels are always fresh and baked on the premises. The egg sandwiches, croissants, and all lunches that i have tried are excellent. Ever since i first ate at bagel villa two weeeks ago i have not stopped going back. I now go into bagel villa atleast five times a week for breakfast and lunch. Not only is their food amazing, but the staff is so welcoming, helpful and the service is fast, especially considering that all their food is freshly made!! I especially love the hot young man that works the front!! I highly recommend that everyone goes to try the food at Bagel Villa!!!! read more

The guys working behind the counter are always giving out attitudes and not to mention the lady who owns the place always looks like she's angry and one time she gave me an extreme attitude.. This bagel store is extraordinary!! I have breakfast here almost three times a week. I live ten blocks away and i walk to bagel villa just to get their tasty bagels. Thier bagels are cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of cream cheese. I also highly recommend the egg sandwiches. Their coffee is great; so much better than dunkin donuts and starbucks, it is always fresh!! The help is awsome. Bagel Villa is easily one of the BEST bagel spots in Brooklyn. I've been getting lunch here for years, and every experience has been delicious. They courteously serve up inventive and mouth-watering sandwiches (try the Mola di Bari panini), with great portions (important for a guy like me with a huge appetite), and fresh ingredients. The COVID times changes a lot of places mode of operation and sometimes what used to be open isn't anymore but I digress. My friend and I did end up in Dunkin and she shared half of her poppy seed muffin so I can say that its super tasty and filling. I just wish that I had thought of taking a photo before it was in devour mode. This does seem to be a popular spot if you are a nearby neighbor but for me its on the distant side and I felt that it might be a little pricier than some of the places that I already go.
