"Fugetaboutit is like if you agree with someone, you know, like Raquel Welch is one great piece of @$$, Fugetaboutit. But then, if you disagree, like A Lincoln is better than a Cadillac? Fugetaboutit! you know? But then, it's also like if something's the greatest thing in the world, like mingia those peppers, Fugetaboutit. But it's also like saying Go to hell! too. Like, you know, like "Hey Paulie, you got a one inch pecker?" and Paulie says "Fugetaboutit!" Sometimes it just means Fugetaboutit." - "Donnie Brasco," 1997 I had felt like a Vegetarian tonight (rare, I know) so I choose one of the specialty sandwich, dubbed "The Imposter," because it is veggie hiding beneath the pig skin. It has sun dried tomato & basil inside a Tofurky Italian sausage, with cracked pepper and Parmesan sauce. To a regular Meatatarian like myself, this is surprisingly savory and satisfying. If you think you can find a better taste elsewhere, Baguettaboutit! How you order a baguette is both simple and interesting, and each baguette cost $6.50 flat. You look through the menu, then you pick up a brown bag from the table, which is what they will use to bag your order, then you make your selection on the back of the bag; you put a check mark on one of the six regulars, or you pick the specialty feature, or if none entice you as much you can create your own by selection your own sausage and your own sauce. Easy Peasy. Baguettaboutit! P.S. This truck will start making regular appearance in front of Fullsteam on Tuesdays, beginning Feb-21. So stay tune!

I was definitely a fan of this food truck. We stumbled upon it during Downtown Cary's Pimento Cheese Festival. The line was super long and we knew we were in for a treat! They had two pimento cheese specials on their menus but my husband and I went with their buffalo chicken sausage baguette and added the pimento cheese. Let me tell you, it was one of the best things I've had in a while! The chicken sausage was juicy, flavorful, and so delicious. The baguette was warm and fresh and hit the spot. The pimento cheese really added a nice kick to the sandwich overall, but I wish they had packed it in a bit more into the sandwich as a lot of the cheese was just on top of the baguette oozing out. Overall, great service and staff and great sandwiches!

Greek to me

I tried this truck at a local food truck festival. I ordered the greek sausage sandwich. This sausage itself was very delicious as well as the sauce. The baguette was just ok. After having baguettes in France, I am picky about them. The bread was not as crisp as I would have liked. The sauce soaked into the bread and since it was taziki sauce it created an odd texture and flavor. I think I would order and Italian style sandwich next time.

This food truck is known for making sandwiches out of baguettes, instead of regular slices of bread. Each option is a long sausage inserted into a baguette, plus some type of special sauce. The NU Jersey Turpike consists of sweet Italian sausage and roasted red pepper sauce, $7.50, and it's one of the only non-spicy options available. The sandwich is smaller/shorter and thinner than I expected. It's not as wide as a typical Subway or banh mi sandwich, but it's very soft. It's not the most amazing invention, but it's not bad, just very simple.

Yes I'm close enough to check in!!

Wow, what a neat, suggestive, almost obscene idea. A huge sausage in a foreskin of fresh French baguette. I had to hide in a private room to eat it, lest HR collar me for flagrant, suggestive behavior. It was discreetly delicious! But shame on Yelp, for refusing to let me check in on my mobile because "you're too far away to check in." Here's a picture, Yelp, check that in! I'm right at the food truck. (Clearly, Yelp needs to add an option to businesses to mark them as mobile, food truck eateries. Are you listening, Yelp?) ___________ I've bought their sandwiches 3x more at Centennial campus, and will sorely miss them when the last of Red Hatters move to Red Hat Tower in Raleigh ... away from Baguettaboutit. Waaaah. No check-ins for all the enjoyment I've had with these guys. Just. Not. Fair. They have a practice of giving you a card from a 52-card pack of playing cards. What will you get, what will you be? Queen of Hearts? Jack of Clubs? Ace of Diamonds? ;) If you get a chance, definitely patronize Baguettaboutit. And remind Yelp that food Trucks ARE REAL BUSINESSES.

NC State Fair menu

I tried Baguettaboutit at the NC State Fair this year and loved it. Their menu is very simple and small, with only about 9 "sandwiches" - or baguettes with your choice of a sausage and sauce in the middle of it. I ordered the Nu Jersey Turnpike (sweet chicken sausage + roasted red pepper sauce) and the United Nations (chicken chipotle sausage + chimichurri sauce). The baguettes were very fresh, warm, and soft. With both sandwiches I got, I thought the sausages in the middle had a great balance of flavor with the sauce - the sausages were tasty but not overpowering, and the sauce had a ton of flavor. At the end of the sandwich after the sausage is done, you're left with a heavenly pocket of sauce in that warm baguette. This is arguably the best par, so don't waste it.

Had the Yu Talkin Tu Me at the Chatham Co AgFest in Pittsboro. Hot Italian sausage was good, the basil tomato vinaigrette was just OK, the delicious bread really made it. They had other interesting offerings on the menu. I'll try it again when I get the chance.

I definitely won't forget about this food truck. This was a very interesting sandwich because there was a lot of different flavor in one. I got the "u talking to me?" And it had like a sweet, sour, and spice taste in this sandwich. I think it was pretty unique. At first, I thought the sandwich was really long, but it wasn't that big so you can get it cut in half to share with someone too if you are not that hungry. Oh and be careful when you get this. The temperature is really hot so don't take a huge bite like me. Definitely try this food truck out!

Good concept, but I'm not a fan of sauces. They use too much for my taste. Clean place, friendly staff.

Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of the service. I always feel anxious asking for vegan versions at restaurants which don't have anything vegan on the menu, but I felt very at ease here. The staff was extremely professional. They brought me a separate salad, which was some kind of pepper / oil / radish situation. The main dish was a basil & eggplant pasta with red sauce. The noodles themselves were delicious, and I loved the basil & eggplant. I did feel that the sauce was perhaps a bit bland / undersalted, but I suspect that was because of the vegan accommodations. I think the salad suffered for similar reasons. I think they could improve their menu by designing an intentionally vegan main dish, particularly one that was more well-balanced to make up for the lack of cheese (everything else had cheese in it, so I'm assuming that was the problem with my dish). Overall, however, I was very impressed with the service and it was a very positive experience. I appreciate the lengths to which they went to accommodate me.

Because they state that tables of 2 will only be allowed the table for 90 minutes, we didn't think timing would be an issue, but indicated it just in case. The restaurant wasn't busy, assuming since we were on the earlier side of a weeknight. However, despite all this, we still barely made it to our show. The restaurant is cozy and moody and smells wonderful. I love being able to see the kitchen from the tables. However, service was a little off-putting. Our waitress was cordial, but she didn't tell us about the specials until after we asked and even then, only stated the name of the dish--no description. This wouldn't have been as off-putting except that she was energetic and forthcoming about the drink and food specials for the table next to us, which was a larger party. It honestly made us feel like there was a different attitude based on perceived tip. Pacing of our food was a little awkward. We ordered the burrata bruschetta and the golden beets and mozzarella salad to start and they were brought out separately--the salad only after we had finished the burrata. Both dishes were good, and the real shining star was the mozzarella under the salad. After we finished the salad, our waitress cleared our plates and then said, "ok now I'll put the entrees in." Again, since we had a schedule to adhere to, we were a little perplexed. We sat with nothing on the table for about 10 minutes, which I think would have been better filled with food or something to munch on. My friend got the cacio e pepe, which was divine, and I got the tagliatelle al ragu, which was good and very filling. Because of the timing, we didn't get to order dessert, which was a bummer. In fact, our waitress didn't even ask if we were interested--just dropped the check off. There are a few other things I'd like to try on the menu, so I'll probably be back, but this wasn't the stellar experience that I'm used to from Matt Kelly restaurants.

The wine list is broad and thoughtfully curated, with options that feel approachable whether you're a casual wine drinker or someone looking to try something new. The sommeliers were welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us find something we loved. The space itself is adorable, with eclectic décor and cozy lighting that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. It's a great spot for conversation and a relaxed evening with friends. The only downside is that the space is fairly small, and I would have loved to see one or two more lower seating options for small groups rather than mostly high tops. That said, I could absolutely see us coming back for a pre- or post-theater glass of wine or an easy catch-up night.

The service is awesome--our server was super friendly and gave me a great drink recommendation when I wasn't sure what I wanted. It ended up being perfect. My friend and I shared a glass of the 2023 Cederberg Bukettraube (sweet white wine) and got the charcuterie board for one with the truffle salami. That board was so good--I can't stop thinking about it. The toasted baguette slices with truffle salami and mustard? Unreal. It was the perfect little snack to share. We also had the citrus lavender crème brûlée, which was surprisingly delicious. I don't usually go for crème brûlée, but this one was light, not overly sweet, and just had a really nice flavor. I've also tried their shepherd's pie before and loved it--wish it was still on the menu! The vibe inside is moody and cozy, and they've got a cute outdoor patio too. Overall, such a great spot. A little pricey, but I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend checking out Killer Queen.
