I only gave this restaurant a 1 because Zero was not an option. With the exception of our server Love, the front of the house staff including the condescending rude Manager were horrible. My party had reservations for 2 six tops at 4:00pm which I had to endure my first encounter with the curt Manager to make. After she cut me off mid sentence saying "I'm not going to go back and forth with you" when I attempted to make sense of the policy to only hold a table for 15 minutes while refusing to seat those who had arrived. I was asked to make phone calls to the members of my party to obtain an ETA. It takes 15 minutes to find a parking space outside of this establishment. The valet service ropes off 50% of the available spaces. While complimentary valet parking is nice, many customers are not comfortable using this service. I would recommend saving yourself the headache by selecting any of the numerous other local restaurants where customer service is a priority. Sometimes you get lucky. This past Friday night, 7:00 pm+., my mom's birthday visiting up from Miami Beach, we did just that. We were seated in 12 minutes flat, on a Friday?! My wife and I have been here before (mom's first time), as well as in King of Prussia, but this time deserves 2 thumbs-up. I asked for a booth and got one right by the bar (which is always good in my book). Vivian was our waitress and a bigger sweetheart she could not have been. I usually have the Filet Mignon at BB's but not this time. After the delightful appetizers, I tried the forever "New" Curry Shrimp Rice Bowl as I was in a seafood spicy mood. YUM!! Again, I may have gotten very lucky that night as it is a chain and though the "recipes" are supposed to be standardized in reality you can't be sure what's gonna come out of the kitchen on any given day. That said, it's a simple dish so more then likely it will taste the same each time...if you like your food to make you sweat, try this dish. Vivian was very attentive and was sure to remember it was mom's birthday upon leaving to the point of a very nice sentiment on the receipt. The last two times I have been to the Cherry Hill Bahama it just hasn't been the same. The service isn't as good and something is missing. The food was ok but I had to remind them I asked for something special. The bartender when our drinks were finished she took our glass and said ok I will use these for the next round since you guys are done???? why not a fresh glass??? the girl at the front desk was far from friendly and it seemed like I annoyed her. I'm so extremely disappointed. I've eaten at this restaurant numerous times and have always had a wonderful experience, but this time was very different. We had reservations and when we got to the restaurant we were asked to wait in a separate line where no one was around to help us. We are finally helped and my fiancé asks the woman did you see the comment where we wanted to sit outside on the patio? The woman replies yes, however we can not sit 8 people outside together due to a fire hazard. My fiancé says we have 6 people not 8 and the woman tells us that's fine but we would have to wait a while for outside seating since they didn't save us a table. A simple email or phone call would have been nice, but these people obviously didn't care. This was the first of our many issues. Next I order a frozen bahamarita which is clearly watered down and didn't come with the clip on side of alcohol. I mention it to the waitress and she tells me they don't do the clip on side of alcohol anymore because they have new glasses and it doesn't fit on the side of the glasses. (I was just there a month prior and they still had the clip on side of alcohol) anyways I could barely drink it because it was disgusting. The waitress was so extremely rude the whole time. She rolled her eyes when SHE asked us if we wanted separate checks and we said yes, she threw the boxes on the table, threw the payment books on the table, and would not smile the whole time she waited on us. I've never been so appalled by someone before. This girl lacked respect for us and customer service skills. And to top it off we watched her interact with other customers and she treated them completely differently than how she treated us. We did nothing to deserve this treatment we were very nice to her. I really really hate to say this or suspect this is the sole purpose of her behavior, but the only difference between us and the people she was nice to was our race. if this is what our world is coming to it's very sad and extremely disappointing. The manager luckily came over and talked to us and we expressed our concerns and he gave us $10 coupons to come eat there again but I can assure you we will never ever return there after this awful experience. read more

I went here yesterday with a couple of my friends, the service was very slow and when I got my meal the Jerk chicken it tasted awful. There was no flavor in the meal and I was debating on if I should pay my bill or not, on top of that when I asked for a bag for my leftovers, the bag had no handles for me to be able to carry it without a problem. Then when I went to go use the ladies room, I went into one of the stalls and there was no toilet paper what so ever in there, and the bathroom was a mess and it was very small. I just don't eat at chain restaurants but was visiting some friends in Cherry Hill who wanted to go here so I said whatever and went with them.. Well the good news is that the food for a chain seems very decent and different from the standard Italian or Applebee/TGIF type chains. Had the Peruvian Corn Cakes which were fine, The coconut shrimp def was tasty, and the yucca fries likewise went down easy. For desert it was a light and flavorful Dolce de Lecho cheesecake. No complaints anywhere ... and I left very, very full. The atmosphere really isn't that much (some tropical touches to keep with the theme but if it ever went out of business, it wouldn't take much to transform it into another mall chain.) Service was friendly and competent.. The clientele - well you can safely say it's not a Center City crowd. My food was delicious! Seasoned and cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back for that. Drinks were inexpensive compared to others but mine was somewhat bland. The one think that could use some improvement is the waitstaff. They were bland, boring waiters that you could find anywhere. To give this place a true island feel (which is what it seems that they are going for with the highly themed decor) the waitstaff needs to become more involved and give that island friendliness to welcome more guests. read more

For a chain restaurant they are definitely one of the good ones. The food was both appetizing and appealing at the same time. The Jerk wings are great, they have different sauces that add the heat to your liking that are also very flavorful. The firecracker shrimp are delicious with the mayo based sauce it comes with. Also had the bbq pulled pork w/ plantains. Actually made me want to send my ribs back for another. The salmon salad is a hearty/tasty meal for a salad. The ribs were not amazing but good. The jerk pasta was also on point: creamy and we'll put together. One of the best deals was the sampler- conk fritters, jerk wings, onion rings and coconut shrimp; very well vould sub as a meal. Last night I took my family out to dine here. I love the food at Bahama Breeze and I am a big fan. Unfortunately, the staff whom we encountered were way off their game!!! I booked my reservation through "Open Table" as usual. A member of my party was seated before I arrived and the very confused hostess told me they didn't see my reservation. When I explained to her that I had booked it on Open Table she actually used the words "calm down" as if anyone had raised their voice and as if I didn't deserve the respect of being spoken to as patron. After I searched the place for the rest of my party, we were eventually greeted by our waiter. He served two alcoholic beverages to two people who said they wanted "virgin" drinks and was visibly annoyed when they told him about it! He didn't even card the young one. For the rest of the night he avoided us or forgot to even check on us! A waitress brought out our food. Another one brought our drink refills. It was sooo very bad. So bad that we didn't order dessert because we didn't want to prolong this agony. The food of course was amazing, but the service, not at all! We made friends with the couple next to us on their 5th anniversary. They had him and was treated no better! They waited longer than us to get their order taken. Usually I only Yelp to praise an establishment, but something must be done during training or they will lose loyal customers. read more

Delicious food and wonderful service. Went to have dinner with my husband and son for our one year anniversary on 10.17.13 Juliana our waitress was great and friendly. We had the coconut shrimp and onion rings. My husband had the shrimp creole n I had the BBQ ribs. Very tender meat and everything was very good. I know it's a chain restaurant but its one of my fave chain restaurant. I love the Jamaican grill wings its just so good. I love the seafood paella, pasta dish, cuban sandwich, I tried quite a few things on the menu and were never disappointed. And of course I ALWAYS have to get my favorite dessert, Chocolate Island. This is the closest place I go to when i am in Philly or in south jersey. I refuse to drive to King of Prussia for Bahama Breeze it is just too far of a drive. Lesson in why you should always pay cash because people can't be trusted with your credit card. I met a close friend for happy hour on Friday, September 30, 2016. We had a wonderful time catching up and the appetizers and drinks were very good. My friend picked up the $49 tab using her credit card and I paid the $10 tip in cash. Unfortunately, that's where the great times end. My friend phoned me today (10-3-16) advising that our server decided to give herself another tip on her credit card. The server charged $59 to her card instead of the $49 my friend signed off on. The credit card company was phoned to dispute the fraudulent charges. My friend has the original receipt with the server's name on it and she's going to speak with the manager in regards to this incident. It's truly a shame because we had a nice time and this server's thievery put such a damper on it. I would think twice about coming to this restaurant if I didn't have cash. I hope the server is fired. Some people may think of it as a petty crime, but you put your trust as a customer in your server not to steal from you. It's credit card fraud and who knows how many times the server has done it and gotten away with it. This practice needs to stop. read more

I was there yesterday on March 10,2018 for a birthday dinner the reservation was for 8:00 p.m. We was seated with no problem ,but Our sevice was horrible a second after .Our waitress was not professional at all ... She didnt bring us no water or asked if we wanted any, she didnt bring us no eating untesil neither... she took our order with out writing anything down ,Now I know this is something that they do but come on now, she told us that she had good mermory and When our food came out one of the orders was wrong. Okay Ms Good Memory ( Whatever!) Ok we waited almost an hour for our drinks not food or apps but our drinks really! then another party comes after us and the same waitress waiting on them as well and they had a far better service then us and receive their food before us and they were a bigger party then us. I feel extremely bad for the birthday Girl because this was an horrible experience, and then we also had to call for a manager because when they brought out our apps there was no plates or napkins or untesils and the Manager got the items for us but we had to ask other wait staff to help us. This was hands down one of the best dinners I have ever had...My boyfriend and I stopped by for their happy hour specials we saw online; both of us have never been here before. We started off dinner with myself getting the Pineapple-Coconut Martini (absolutley delicious) while he got the Frozen Bahamarita. Both were fabulous and not overpowering, and for $5 each with the HHour special you can't beat the price for quality. We ordered two 1/2 priced apps of the Beef Empanadas and the Seared Ahi Tuna. The tuna was so fresh and the empanadas came out hot and crisp. For our main course I got the Jamaican Stuffed Plaintain Bowl which the only words I can say about this dish is you NEED to get this. It was wonderful and I will absolutley be getting it the next time I come. My boyfriend got the Jerk Chicken Pasta and he ate every single bite. The Jerk seasoning on the chicken was perfect and the mix of the asparagus and mushrooms with the parm cream sauce was great. All in all we had a great experience with our waitress and all of our food and drinks were amazing. Will defiantly be back soon! read more

I live & work in the area so coming here was a no brainer...instead of driving 35 minutes to Princeton. I must disclose the food & drinks are amazing. The server we had was very sweet & polite....but it just took FOREVER to get anything. We sat for 10-15 minutes before the waitress came. This gave us ample time to figure out what we wanted to eat & drink. Knocking out our drink order, appetizer & dinner order all in one we thought we were going to be good (only 3 of us). We waited another 15 minutes to get our drinks. Then another 35 minutes for our appetizer which came out with our food. We were done with our first round of drinks before our food came out. Getting another was a nightmare. Then our food came out all separately. The place is huge & is always busy. Hire more waiters so the ones you do have are able to attend all of their tables without running around like a chicken with their head cut off. After we were done with our food she basically stopped waiting on us...although we were still ordering drinks. She would literally come check on us every 35 minutes.
