The hush puppies were delicious too. They were not too sweet or salty. We enjoyed the balance of the cornmeal with the other ingredients. Next up, our entrees. My catfish was very fresh. It was pipping hot, which I love. The greens were a combination of collard, turnips and mustard greens. I loved the flavor, but wish they were warmer. My grits were not good at all. I opted to have my crawfish gravy on the side bc I love grits enough to eat them solo. Well, these grits were very lumpy and cold. I imagine the chef was relying on the gravy to be used for "loosen" or even heat up the grits. While I loved my fish and the flavor of the greens, both of my sides were room temperature in comparison to my fish. I was a little sad that happened. My partner liked his shrimp etouffee. He said it was pipping hot and full of fantastic flavors. The portion sizes for entrees were generous. I had leftovers for the next day.
