Yikes. Super slow service here. We waited in the drive thru for about 45 minutes before being able to place an order. Then told at the speaker another 30 minute wait until the window. Worst customer service and super slow I waited probably 25 minutes for my order. I ordered three snow cones. They only gave me 1 and I had to RE ORDER THE REST . since I was in the drive-through they told me they cannot take my order after already paying for my order again and pretty much made me feel like I was not that important of a customer even though I was a paying customer and I waited just as long as everyone else in that line worst customer service the manager should get fired and whoever else because they are so slow and I love this location because it's close to me, but I will never return to this one and I don't recommend anyone going to it because they're just slow and flat out rude!! Waited 55 minutes in the drive through line with only 7-8 cars in front of me!! I couldn't leave because several cars pulled up behind me so I was stuck!! Well, after 15 of us show up. A gentleman tried opening the door and it was locked. We read a sign there that said 'drive thru only'. WTH!!! I called and a girl answered and said it was only her working and that only the drive thru was open. How ridiculous!!! We ended up going to Baskin Robbin's with only one guy working and enjoyed ourselves there instead. Don't even bother going here. Bahama bucks has a good concept, in a place where it's usually pretty hot and dry in the summer, they are serving what is basically supped up shaved ice. The interior had a tropical vibe it's kind of cool and quirky. Keep in mind that this business can get extremely busy sometimes and you could be waiting for a while. In my particular case not only was I waiting for a while but they kept forgetting my order and they got it wrong a couple times before making it right. Also keep in mind there are tons of kids there and I'm not just talking about children of parents most of the workers and clientele were kids when I was there. I don't have a problem with that but just throwing it out there as a piece of knowledge. I'm just not the biggest fan for mainly the reason that the drinks all taste like syrup sludge. I get that they use syrup but the issue is they don't use much else to balance the flavor out. The amount of food coloring and sugar in the syrups they are using is extremely unhealthy for human consumption. I rather go eat some ice cream which would Be easier on the body. I was really excited to try this place at first because i love a business i used to visit in Phoenix and in Los Ángeles called joes Italian ice but this is nothing like that. read more

Came today for a reward since my baby girl passed her spelling test today with %100! I'm so proud of her! Bahama Bucks was very busy on a Monday at 3pm ish. They had a full staff today. They were training at the register and the girls did a good job! They had half the store available for seating so the staff can be more on top of their cleaning. It was a nice experience! read more

I like Bahama bucks as an occasional treat, but the wait time is so long that it is hard to keep a kid patient let alone a toddler. We ordered two sno cones which are huge even for the baby size and waited over 30 minutes for them. There were not very many people in the drive-thru and the inside seemed fairly empty. The speaker outside needs to be repaired, it is nearly impossible to hear the person you are ordering from and they sound like they are underwater. I did really like the sour patch kids cone I got, but I wish there was a smaller size than a baby. My toddler got the unicorn one and we had to ask for a second cup to split it into so it would not go everywhere. Lids or something would be great for transport as well. read more

I love Bahama Buck's but our experience today was so horrible that we will never revisit this location. My husband got a Strawberry Bliss smoothie and I got a cherry Thin Ice snow cone. Simple enough. We went through the drive through and then headed on our way to complete our errands. As I started to eat my snow cone, I notice a long, thin blue string poking out. I pulled it out and looked around the surface but didn't see anything else. I took a bite and started to choke. There were a ton of tiny blue things in the snow cone. I called the location and let them know our order and they knew exactly who we were and what had happened. The girl who made our snow cone has not fully removed the blue wrapping from the block of ice before shaving the ice so it was full of the blue wrapper. Was I offered a refund? No. They said they could remake it if I drove all the way back but that was it. Oh! And they said it was also in a bunch of other snow cones and they would let people know if they called in to throw them away. Wtf?! read more

This is one of my favorite summer spots. The ambient lighting and playful energy that fills this place amazes me every time. I should be honest say that choosing something fruity and cold is not my normal go to when I want something sweet. I am a chocolate fiend! Alas, a spur of the moment shopping event presented itself and I was off to pick up my shopping buddy. She herself was on her way with the boyfriend to Bahama Bucks. I had heard of it before but never been, nor even considered the idea of it. Is that bad? Anyway, this is where I was swooping her up so in I stepped into a shaved ice haven. Along the wall are an array of bottles filled with colorful bright fluids, three tv screens making up the menu and a bunch of seating. I did a quick perusal of the selection and found what I thought to be the best for me! They have frozen coffee drinks!!!! Yeeeeeeesss! I figured I was saved! A man and his two young girls were ahead of me in line and they were getting samples! (Of the shaved ice of course!) I reconsidered, and chose two flavors to give a try. If I wasn't satisfied, blended iced coffee it was! Soooo, I started with the Birthday Cake flavor. Out came the sample. It even had sprinkles on it. I took a quick taste already ready to order my coffee drink, when my eyes widened and I just couldn't help but smile! It was so dang good! I immediately forgot what my second choice was too! They have literally like any flavors you like you can mix multiple flavors. Haven't tried their smoothies or shakes but I'm pretty sure those are good too. Really like tigers blood and birthday cake highly recommend them. They even give you mini umbrellas in your shaved ice! read more

It does take a little time, it's not an immediate kind of process as they shave the ice after you order, so know that going in, still pretty speedy considering the number of people in the drive through! They gave me a replacement (and even wanted to upsize it) and gave me a coupon to come back for a free serving. Nice touch! I will go back sometime. My boyfriend and I usually love Bahama Buck's but not today. So we ordered a princess flavored sprite we wanted to add a scoop of ice cream to have a float and the girl working would not do it. She said the only way to have that done is too have it with root beer.... so your telling me this girl couldn't just charge us for a scoop of ice cream. Really disappointed. Our family loves coming here, the staff is always friendly, & the selection is great! For our summer kids' birthday parties for the past few years we always get the "snow-balls" & their a big hit every time. My kids really enjoy the cute little umbrellas & the color changing spoons, as a parent I like that I can get them 'flat top', so it's an easy treat to eat in the car. The reason for not giving it a 5 star is because every once in a while, I don't know if it's because it's a new person or what but their isn't enough syrup. Came in and the drive thru was pretty busy so we went inside to order. Ordered the classic cherry with just pickles and when we got our order it was wrong. Took it back and reordered and they gave us basically a cherry snow one with pickles in a cup. Basically waited 45 minutes for the order and had us basically put together our own order with ingredients in cups at the counter.
