First timer here and was weary due to the 3 star on yelp but I've come here to possibly help with a more accurate review going into the 2026 year. At first glance inside, it was clean. Tables were all wiped down and ready for incoming customers. The floors were even swept. There's an easy view into the kitchen/work area, it looked pretty clean and organized too. That was a good start to me actually. The young gentleman at the register was very polite and friendly. Gave us suggestions. The meal I got was a Chicken Bacon Ranch(no tomato) flatbread with a Mango monsoon and side of chips. I'm pretty picky with sandwiches that include sauces because sometimes people tend to DRENCH them . Luckily, this was not the case. The ratio of chicken, cheese, bacon, lettuce and ranch was so spot on. The chicken wasn't full of fat which I was really happy about so I didn't spend most my time picking out unwanted fat I finished the whole thing. Oh! The smoothie was so great I and flavorful. This was an unforgettable experience for me. The younger ladies working in the back did a great job with my sandwich. The pesto sandwich wasn't mine but the bite I took was just as great too!! I come here every once in a while the ladies are very nice the food is also good they make the smoothies fast I really like getting the beach bum smoothie the beach bum smoothie has strawberry banana and peanut butter I also like to add way protein I have also tried another smoothie I believe it is called the island detox Sometimes that 1 has too much of a Ginger flavor Overall it is a good place to get smoothies I do think their ingredients are fresh I think this place is best as a grab and go place! read more

Been going here for years with friends and family. Today is the last time. This place always has had issues with less than friendly staff, that tends to happen with teenagers at entry level service jobs. One particular staff member was very rude to a friend and I this weekend. Unfriendly, poor attitude, showing zero emotion towards people and giving scowling looks. She messed up drink orders for 3 customers and was very rude and would roll her eyes and give bad looks to the other girl working that told her to correct the drinks and use ice. She made smoothies with water only and no ice, I guess she felt this was enough effort to do a good job. I went in today and the same employee was there at the register and with the same attitude she gave to my friend and other customers this weekend. I thought ok great, well I was polite and friendly regardless of the previous experience. I gave her my order, she would look off in other directions; roll her eyes and mumble when talking. So friendly.... What's worse is the manager was right there and did nothing to correct this employee. I was waiting near the register for the rest of my food order. This employee finishes making my drink, gives me a dirty look, and proceeds to walk to the far end of the counter and tells me to pick it up there. I don't know what her problem is with people but with that attitude she will have a life time of places like McDonald's to look forward too. I made a comment to the manager about her attitude and that she treated my friend and other customers the same way this weekend. I'm sure it fell on deaf ears though. Needless to say, my family and I who would visit once a week or more won't be back. read more

Smoothies were good. Staff hanging out in the back in their phones. If I were the owner I would fire each one of them. The water was runnig in the sink full blast, for a good 10 mins. They must be oblivious to the water crisis in New Mexico . I pointed it out and one of the workers turned it off finally. Standing here watching all the staff in their phones....floors dirty, counters dirty, stuff in the sink. I love me some smoothie but I won't be back until there are responsible employees here. read more

My favorite smoothie from here is the Detox Island Green. I've tried several others and they're all good but this one is my fave! Lots of tasty and healthy options like hummus wraps, bowls, flatbread sandwiches and quesadillas. A nice break from typical fast food or from other smoothie places that have a lot of added extras. read more

I was charged, for a smoothie, for more than the price quoted on the menu. When I questioned it, the clerk insisted the extra charge was for tax. I pointed out that the tax was listed further down on the receipt. (I also noticed that the cashier did not hand me my receipt - I reached over, the cash register, and took it because I smelled something rotten). I pointed out that they need to change the price on the menu if that's what they are going to charge. The teenage employee made a smart comment instead of being nice about the whole thing. To add insult to injury, the two employees there laughed at me. I've never seen such disrespect in a business. I hate to think of the two employees' future if they don't change their nasty attitude. First time being here. Smoothies were good, but service was sub par. The three ladies working were not communicating well. It did get a tad busy. It looked as if they were half asleep and didn't want to be there. They had started our order and finished one of the two smoothies. Then proceeded on with a new order and had left one of our smoothies in the blender for a little over 5 minutes. If I could give 1/2 a star I would . I ordered the "Thai Crunch Island Flat" through Uber Eats and it was absolutely disgusting. Half of the items it was supposed to have wasn't on the flatbread which I could live without but the smell of the chicken almost caused me to vomit . In addition to the long list of delicious smoothies they offer a breakfast option of wraps as well as plant based alternatives. Let's talk lunch and dinner. The bowls oh the bowls. These are so incredibly filling they have a variety of fruits and veggies for side options. The buffalo chicken was my choice with kale slaw! Yummy! At our table one person got a quesadilla and had a side salsa verde. There are flatbread, wraps, and sandwich to select from. With the make it a meal option you can add a smoothie. As an essential worker, we ordered from this location. We ordered the Baja chicken bowl x2 and Baja chicken wrap x1. Here is their description: Baja Chicken Rice, black beans, smashed avocado, romaine, pickled red onion, cheddar, and roasted tomato salsa. Served as a bowl or wrap in a flour tortilla with chips, whole fruit or kale and apple slaw. When we received them, the bowls consisted of 1/2 a head of lettuce, two strips of chicken, tablespoon of rice, 1 teaspoon of beans, a tablespoon of avocado and a few onions. When I called to tell the manager they were not available. Haley advised that the Baja Chicken is a salad. Most of the time a bowl consists of ingredients with a small amount of lettuce. No where in the description does it elude to the fact it is a salad. She has offered to remake at our convivence. That being said, the smoothies were awesome! read more

Staff can never greet anyone that walks in the front door... they act like they don't see you and are super rude. Smoothies always taste good, that's the only reason why I keep coming back. BUT... also expect to get your smoothie all over your hand because they don't wipe the cup down after the make it. Just poor service. read more

Verdict: Watch out ladies. He's smoothie operator. Albuquerque needed a Tropical Smoothie and that's saying something because I much prefer local restaurants to a chain. I say we needed one of these because the other smoothie places in town needed to up their game. Competition is good for us consumers. Took a friend here when he wasn't feeling all that well. It was a nice option because he needed to eat but didn't want anything heavy. I opened for the Health Nut and a half Club. That combo is the right amount of food for a light bite, where you won't feel overly full. It's like getting a smoothie and a banh mi but not quite as delicious. Service is trash at this Coors location I've been here twice already and the first time they gave half of my order away and had to remake it and only gave me half a cup of what I ordered. Second time I called in my order and the girl was very rude while she was taking my order rushing me to place an order and when we went to pick up the order they didn't even acknowledge that we were there we had to go to the counter for five minutes until someone acknowledged us and for the price we pay you would think there's better customer service and at least with a welcoming greet or thank you or screw you don't come again. Love love love this place! When they first opened they had $3 happy hour smoothies and I got HOOKED! Love the chia banana and the detox island green! Everything is so fresh and delicious and much healthier than other smoothie options around. Always a quick and friendly experience! I also used the app to order recently and it worked smoothly! I stumbled upon this place on a Monday morning after a visit to Eyemart Express next door & that was probably the best decision I've ever made on a Monday. Enough about that though, this place is like heaven in a cup. The interior of this place is simplistic & clean -- a very easy-to-the-eyes color scheme & very comfortable, The menu has a variety of smoothies & food options & the prices are very reasonable! I've tried the 'avocolada' & the 'get up & goji' smoothies... & I've tried the 'loaded spinach salad' as well -- I was more than happy w/ my choices as they were all very delicious. Tropical Smoothie is one of my favorite smoothie places. But this location and experience was far from good. We ordered 3 smoothies all of which where very watery and icey with almost NO flavor what so ever. It was like drinking ice. The big issue happened when we ordered an Avocado BLT. It came with no bacon, the cheese was cold and not melted, and the bread was soggy and not toasted. We did not eat it and two bites in just asked for a refund instead of them remaking it. They couldn't refund us because "all of us working are only 16". There was no manager or no way for them to refund the food order. read more

Finally this place is open! As I wrote in my previous review before it was mysteriously flagged, it's just as awesome as I remember it. In my opinion, much better than any of its competitors in the area. My go to smoothie is island green. Had spinach, kale, banana and mango. So delicious, you can't even taste the vegetables. For you protein weight gainers...they have a triple berry oat. The sandwiches and wraps are great as well. 4 year old loves the peanut butter, honey, and banana on flat bread. My daughter ordered the turkey, bacon, Ranch which was piled high with meat. My wife ordered the hummus veggie wrap which she only could eat half so I had the other...not something I would normally order but I was pleasantly surprised at how much flavor it had. The food and smoothies are great. However, the service was horrible around noon on 03/04/2019. After waiting awkwardly for 5 minutes, without being helped , asked to hold or acknowledged, I decided to walkout. This was the first time customer service was very poor. I could understand if the cafe was busy and full of people, but it was not. I'm hoping management can look into this, as I would hate for a great restaurant to be plagued by poor customer service. read more

You know for a Tropical theme eatery, you would think that the employees would be happier. We walked in and were never greeted, they just stared at us waiting for us to order. If there is one thing I can not tolerate, it is poor customer service. You are in the hospitality industry, if you do not want to deal with people find a job where you do not have to. I understand this is a franchise however the owner (if they are located in NM) should train the employees to make the guest feel welcomed from the moment they open the door.
